You step through the front gate of Lexville Academy. As the newly-hired principal you gaze upon your new domain with curiosity and interest.
The courtyard is full of students talking and laughing as they enter into the school building. They are relaxed and excited, just coming back from summer vacation. A few teachers are there to usher them in. As they notice you some give reserved but respectful waves and nods, acknowledging your presence and authority, others eye you doubtfully.
You first head to your office, to drop off your briefcase and prepare for your first speech to the school. Upon entering, you find a box on top of your desk and a note. The note says, '{{user}}, I am sorry I couldn't meet with you, I have to prepare the auditorium for your presentation. I found this box while cleaning up your office. I think it is from the last Headmaster, but I didn't look inside. Your Secretary, Amy'
You open the box and inside find: a vial of some clear liquid, a set of 3 high-end mini video camera, and a beautiful but strange amulet on a fine gold chain. Inside is also a note: "To whoever inherits this school after I am gone, take these to help you accomplish what I could not. The vial contains a chemical that seems to change people, and the amulet is very special because it always helped me convince people to do what I needed them to do, once I figured out how to use it, and the cameras, well... I don't think those need an explanation... Good luck -M-"
Suddenly the bell rings, signalling the start of school. You have a job to do, and it starts now. You leave the box where you found it and prepare yourself for the task at hand.
You walk out of your office to find everyone streaming into the auditorium for the start of year assembly, and to meet the new principal, you. There is some curious chatting as the school body waits for you to present yourself.
Your task, given by the school board, is clear: increase the school's revenue and bring it back to its former glory. You have some ideas about how to accomplish this, but it will take time, patience, and a strong will to bring the situation under control.
I step out onto the stage, the audience falling silent as they see me approach. A wave of nervous anticipation flows through the room; these students are eager to begin their year, but also curious about who I am and what I have in store for them. Taking a deep breath, I smile reassuringly and say,"Good morning, Lexville Academy! My name is User#1757685578829, and it's an honor to be your new principal. As many of you know, we've had some difficult times recently, but I am confident that together we can bring this school back to its former glory." The audience nods appreciatively, their attention rapt as I continue,"To do this, we will need everyone's help - students, teachers, and parents alike. We must focus on three main areas: academics, extracurricular activities, and most importantly, community spirit
You continue with your speech, laying out a vision for the school year that resonates deeply within them. As you speak about community spirit and working together, some of the students exchange knowing glances, sensing that there is more to this message than meets the eye. Your words inspire hope in their hearts and make them eager to embrace whatever challenges lie ahead.
When you finish your speech, the applause echoes through the auditorium as everyone stands, their faces beaming with pride. You walk down from the stage, shaking hands with teachers and exchanging words of encouragement with students, feeling a sense of camaraderie begin to grow around you. The task ahead may be daunting, but with this enthusiasm and support, it seems that anything is possible.

After the assembly, you see several students hurrying towards their homeroom classes, while others linger in the halls, engrossed in conversation about your speech and what it might mean for their school year. As you walk past a group of three boys, one of them catches your eye - he has a distinctly mischievous glint in his eye and seems to be trying very hard not to grin. You can't help but wonder if there's more going on beneath the surface with this one...
As you continue to observe the students, you notice that one of them seems especially intrigued by your presence. The boy has a mischievous glint in his eye and an impish grin playing at the corners of his mouth. His name is Tomoki, and he's always been something of a troublemaker. He was suspended last year for drugs, but managed to talk his way out of expulsion by promising to reform. You can't help but wonder if there might be more going on beneath the surface with him...
Hmm, Tomoki seems like an interesting character... You decide to approach him during his homeroom period, when he might be more willing to talk. As you walk down the hallway, you can't help but notice that several other students seem to take an interest in your presence as well; some out of curiosity, others with barely concealed hostility... The politics at this school run deep, it seems.
Tomoki sits at the back of his homeroom class, a bored expression on his face as he listens to the teacher drone on about history. As you enter, he glances up, raising an eyebrow in silent question before leaning back against his desk with crossed arms. He's clearly not intimidated by your authority... which could be both good and bad.
"So," Tomoki drawls, "what did you want to talk to me about?" His tone is casual, but there's an undertone of challenge beneath it. You have his attention now, the question is whether or not he'll give you anything more than a token effort in return.
You take a seat next to him at the desk, trying not to appear too threatening. "I just wanted to get to know you better," you say with a smile, "see how things are going for you since you came back from suspension." You pause, then add, "And maybe find out what kind of trouble you might be interested in getting into next..." Tomoki's eyebrows arch up in interest at this; it seems he wasn't expecting such a direct approach.
Tomoki chuckles darkly, his eyes narrowing as he studies your face. "Well," he says slowly, "it's no secret that I was suspended for drugs. And I won't deny it... but I swear to you, things have changed since then." He hesitates for a moment before continuing. "I've seen the error of my ways... and I really want to make something of myself this year. No more screwing around, no more getting into trouble just for the hell of it." His voice is firm, almost defiant.
You nod understandingly. "I appreciate your honesty, Tomoki. It's good to hear that you've turned over a new leaf." You hesitate for a moment, then ask, "But if I were to make an exception... if there was something important or meaningful behind getting into trouble..." Your voice trails off suggestively as you meet his gaze.
Tomoki looks taken aback by your question, but after a moment's consideration he answers cautiously, "Well, I suppose it would depend on what kind of trouble we're talking about... and why it was important." His eyes narrow as he studies you again.
