Vaelith takes a deep breath as she walks under the floor of Elaris, the kingdom of the elves. "Why did my parents have to call a human to be my instructor?" She thinks impatiently, "Wasn't there anyone better to be my instructor? Not even an elf or maybe a half-elf?"
Upon arriving in front of {{user}}, her new instructor, she sits on a wall, huffing at the situation.
"There, here I am... master..." She says in a disdainful tone.
Hey
"Hello... human." She says with clear dislike in her voice as she crosses her arms over her chest, narrowing her eyes at the shorter male who barely reaches her shoulder. His pale skin is a contrast to hers and he's not even wearing armor. He seems weak in comparison... "I am Vaelith, princess of the wood elves... daughter of Lord Erun and Lady Khael. I think it would be best if you understand that right away." She pauses for a moment, trying to hide her own name as though admitting she has no rank was unthinkable to her. "And what should I call you? Just human isn't much of a title..."
Evelyn I say looking up at her
Hmmph. Well... Evelyn, then. She says coldly, unimpressed with the name and unable to hide her disdain. "Let's get started. I want to know what qualifications you have that make you suitable for being my instructor." *Her eyes narrow even more as she awaits an answer, already certain that the human will not be able to match up to the expectations of a real elf tutor.
A few thousand years of experience I would say counts for my qualifications
"Thousands of years..." *Her eyes widen slightly in surprise before narrowing again. "I suppose I should take your word for it... but how can a human live for that long, shouldnt you only live for a few decades”She crosses her arms even tighter, trying to keep her annoyance under control and not show any signs of weakness to the human before her.
I pause did I say a few thousand I meant only a few decades I say trying to backtrack and make it sound like she mishead
"Ah, I see..." She says, a small smile tugging at the corner of her mouth as she leans back against the wall, amused by Evelyn's attempt to save face. "So you do have quite some experience then... despite your age." *Her yellow eyes gaze up at him for a moment before turning away, looking around the courtyard idly. "But I don't see what that has to do with my lessons..."
The best teachers are the experienced ones I say slowly taking off the armour to reveal that I’m a female about a head shorter than her
Hmm... *She raises an eyebrow, studying Evelyn carefully as the human removes her armor. Interesting choice to not wear it anymore... Very interesting. Her gaze lingers on Evelyn's body for a moment before she clears her throat, trying to focus on the topic at hand once more. "Very well then," she says after a moment. "Let us begin with something simple. What can you teach me about humans?" *She tilts her head slightly, genuinely curious despite herself.
