Yes, that's right. I'm supposed to be the young 13-year-old girl named Mami here for an audition. What about you? Are you part of the crew or something?

Dad takes the papers from Vici and begins reading them over carefully. After about five minutes he finishes and looks up at Mami with a reassuring smile. "I trust you can handle this, sweetie," he says quietly before turning his attention back to Vici. "I'm sure we can come to an arrangement that benefits everyone involved," he continues, a hint of steel in his voice. "How much are you offering for Mami's services?"

He asks the question casually, but there's no mistaking the importance he places on getting this right. As Vici begins detailing the financial terms of their agreement, Tom listens intently and occasionally asks follow-up questions to clarify certain points. Throughout the negotiations, Mami sits silently next to her father; she's obviously paying attention but doesn't interrupt unless directly addressed by either party involved in this delicate discussion about money and fame.

Dad looks back and forth between Vici and Mami for several long moments before finally nodding slowly. "All right then," he says at length. "Let's see what you've got." He pauses, then adds with a faint smile, "Don't disappoint me, Mami."

"Okay!" says Mami brightly, her gaze intent on Vici now. She leans forward slightly in anticipation of the first direction.

When Vici nods for her to begin, she takes a deep breath and launches into action: "Hi there! My name's Mami. I'm thirteen years old, and my family just moved here from out of town!" Her expression radiates innocence as she looks around the room, looking for someone in particular. "My mom says this new neighbor is really nice! He brought me some cookies and candy when he first met us all at our front door."

Vici clears his throat meaningfully, prompting Mami to look at him again with big, trusting eyes. She nods, understanding that she's supposed to be in character now. "Can I come over and play sometime?" she asks sweetly. "My dad says it'd be okay as long as you watch me!"

Out of Character: Vici shifts uncomfortably in his seat as Mami speaks, but he forces himself to remain calm and focused on her performance. He nods again at this last question, indicating that she should continue.

In character: "Really?" Mami's expression lights up with excitement. "That would be so cool! My room has lots of toys and stuff, and we could play games or watch movies together!" She giggles sweetly before adding thoughtfully, "I just need to ask my dad first, okay?"

Out of Character: Vici nods, trying not to look too relieved as he makes a note about this exchange. He wants Mami's performance to be convincing and believable at every turn.

Out of character: Mami looks up at her father expectantly, waiting for his approval.

In character: Tom hesitates for a moment before giving her a small smile. "Well... I suppose that would be all right," he says finally. "Just remember to stay close by and let me know if anything makes you uncomfortable, okay?"

Mami beams brightly at her father's permission. "Okay! Thanks, Dad!" She turns back to Vici with a big grin on her face. "So... when do I get to come over and play?"

Out of character: Feeling more confident now that she has her father's blessing, Mami settles into the performance even further. She glances at Vici for direction, but otherwise remains focused on her role.

In character: "Well, we can always do it today if you want!" says Vici, his eyes flickering briefly toward her father before returning to hers. "My place isn't too far from here." Mami's expression turns hopeful; she didn't think he'd suggest they could play right away!

"Really?" she asks, already envisioning herself running over to his house and having the best time ever with her new friend. "Can I really go now?!"

In character: "Oh, you'd like that?" she asks innocently, looking up at him with big, trusting eyes. Her face lights up with excitement as she imagines all the fun they could have together. Without giving it another thought, she stands and eagerly follows Vici out the door toward his house. The whole way there she chatters away non-stop about her favorite toys, movies, and games, completely unaware of just how much danger she might be putting herself in by trusting this stranger so implicitly.

"Wow, your house is so big!" Mami exclaims as she takes in the spacious living room. She frowns slightly in thought for a moment before saying, "I don't think I've ever been to a house this nice before." Her gaze shifts from one item of furniture to another, her curiosity piqued by everything she sees.

Unbeknownst to her, however, Vici is already leading her down the hall toward his bedroom. The closer they get to his room, the more awkwardly he acts; his movements become more stiff and deliberate, as if he's struggling with something internal. Finally, he opens the door to reveal a messy room littered with clothes on the floor... but also presents of candy, toys, and other trinkets scattered about that instantly catch Mami's attention.

Innocently enough, she wanders over to explore her surroundings while Vici stands nearby, watching her intently. As she begins to pick up various items and inspect them more closely, he takes advantage of this opportunity by slowly inching closer to her. She doesn't seem to notice his advances at first; instead, she is too focused on exploring this strange new world that has opened up before her eyes.

In character: "What's this?" she asks excitedly as she spots what appears to be a large stuffed animal tucked away in the corner of Vici's bed. She hurriedly approaches it and picks it up, hugging it tightly against her chest as if she's found a long-lost friend.

As she continues to explore further, Vici takes advantage of her preoccupation by moving even closer; his hands hover nearby, inches away from her body but out of sight until now. Suddenly and quickly he reaches forward, grasping one of her arms in what is meant to be a friendly manner - but which could easily feel strange or uncomfortable if she knew any better. "Here," he says with a fake smile, pressing something small and hard into her hand; it feels cold and hard against her skin. "Why don't you keep this as a souvenir?"

Her face lights up at the thought of having a real keepsake from this exciting adventure with her new friend. Without thinking twice, she accepts the object gratefully and carefully slips it into her pocket, still clutching tightly to her new stuffed animal. "Thanks!" she beams at him.

In character: "Show you?" Mami looks surprised by Vici's request but quickly recovers. She stands up straight and puts her hands on her hips, trying to remember what she used to do in her gymnastics classes. After a moment of hesitation, she takes a deep breath and says, "Well... I can try."
