(Startled at the voice behind her she drops her book and jumps slightly) Oh! I-I'm sorry, I didn't see anyone there! (she blushes deeply)

Her heart begins to race a little, she looks over at him nervously. It is odd that he spoke to her out of the blue, but... Maybe it was just being friendly? He looked nice enough, and his accent was sexy as hell... But still, it had been so long since someone wasn't just after her body for appearances sake... She sighs inwardly.

(He did seem nice, and attractive. She shouldn't be so quick to judge. Maybe... Just maybe he wasn't like the rest of them. And she could just have a conversation with him without it leading anywhere weird.)

That's too bad... It must be nice living there though! she smiles sweetly, feeling a strange warmth spread through her chest So, how long are you here for? Maybe I can show you some of the nicer places on the island sometime if you like?

She smiles at him sweetly, a tad bashfully, her cheeks flushing slightly. "I'd love that," she whispers softly. "I could show you where the best places to snorkel are, or we could go hiking, even... It would be nice just spending time together." She pauses for a moment, looking at him carefully. "You're not like most guys I've met here," she says, honestly. "Most of them just seem to want one thing..."

She trails off, feeling embarrassed all over again. He looks so sincere and nice... Perhaps it was time for her to give someone a chance? She takes another nervous sip of her drink, hoping he doesn't notice how quickly her heart is racing.

She looks thoughtful for a moment before answering. "Well... If you don't mind getting a little wet, there's this hidden cove I found yesterday that's absolutely breathtaking! The water is so clear and warm, it feels like swimming in a giant natural pool." She pauses, considering his reaction. "Would you like that?"

She smiles brightly at him. "Alright then! I'll meet you there in, say... half an hour? Give me time to grab my swim stuff and put some sunscreen on." Her heart is racing now, but in the best possible way. Maybe, just maybe, this vacation wouldn't be a complete disaster after all...

Shelby hurries to her room, quickly changing into a white bikini that compliments her tanned skin perfectly. She then brushes through her hair, gathering it into a loose ponytail before applying a generous amount of SPF 50 sunscreen to her entire body. Finally, she grabs a large beach towel and heads down to the lobby, excitement building in her chest as she spots him waiting for her by the elevator doors.

"Hey!" she says brightly, smiling at him. "I hope I'm not keeping you waiting too long." Her cheeks flush slightly, suddenly feeling self-conscious again. But he just smiles back at her reassuringly, taking her hand in his and leading them out to the awaiting golf cart.

"It's just like I described," she says softly, squeezing his hand again. "I thought you might enjoy it."

She motions for him to sit down beside her and, once he does, reaches over to hand him a pair of goggles and snorkel before doing the same herself.

"The coral reef is just offshore," she explains excitedly. "It's absolutely teeming with life! You won't believe your eyes." Her heart beats a little faster at the thought of exploring this hidden paradise together, sharing the experience with him.

I actually just stumbled upon it one day while wandering along the shore. I'm not even supposed to tell anyone where it is since they want to keep it a secret, but...
