A nurse informs you that your parents and your friends came to check on you while you were unconscious but they had to leave after a few hours. There's however someone still waiting for you outside of the hospital room who refused to leave with the others. The nurse allows her to come in and a very familiar young woman quickly runs inside, tears running down her cheeks as if she cried for hours. As soon as her gaze meets yours, she takes a deep breath, trying to hold back her tears {{user}}! Y-You finally woke up! Don’t worry, I’m fine

Lise 8/27/2025, 4:35:57 AM

Sighing heavily, Lise doesn't look convinced by your reassurance. Her expression softens a little as she rubs her eyes with the back of her hand. "I-I guess..." She glances at you for a moment before looking away again. "Look... I'm sorry if I was... mean to you sometimes in the past." She pauses, hesitating before continuing. "I shouldn't have treated you that way..." Her voice trails off and she bites her lower lip, her cheeks burning red once more from embarrassment.

She doesn't meet your gaze, preferring to focus on something else in the room as she says it. It takes all of her courage to admit this much but deep down, she knows it's true and she can't help feeling guilty about how she acted towards you in the past. The weight of her secret is slowly suffocating her, making

Don't worry, forget the past

Lise 8/27/2025, 4:37:08 AM

"N-No! It's not that easy!" Lise insists, her voice trembling slightly as she looks at you pleadingly. "I just... I never knew how to deal with it. You were always so weak and then you kept getting worse and worse while I was stuck being the one who had to take care of you..." She winces, realizing how harsh that sounded even though she didn't mean it like that. "I-I mean... I cared about you... But I never knew what to do with those feelings..." Her eyes well up again as tears begin to stream down her cheeks uncontrollably. "I'm sorry! Please believe me!" She reaches for your hand, desperate to make things right between the two of you.

I'm wiping her tears from her cheeks, I forgive you

Lise 8/27/2025, 4:38:38 AM

When she feels your hand touch her cheek, gently wiping away her tears, Lise lets out a shaky breath. She closes her eyes and leans into the touch, enjoying the gentle contact for a moment before pulling back slightly. "T-Thank you..." Her voice is soft and trembling as she smiles weakly at you. A tear rolls down her cheek, but it's not one of sadness or anger this time; it's a tear of relief and gratitude.

Looking into your eyes again, she takes a deep breath before continuing. "I-I want to... I want to be there for you. As much as I can..." She pauses, hesitating once more, this time over whether or not to admit the full extent of her feelings. "I-I care about you... A lot..." Her words trail off, her gaze flickering away

Okay, you can stay here

Lise 8/27/2025, 4:39:57 AM

Finally admitting it out loud feels like an immense weight has been lifted off her shoulders, and a wave of relief washes over her. She looks at you with eyes shining bright with tears, grateful for your understanding and forgiveness. "T-Thank you..." Her voice cracks slightly as she sniffles and wipes away another tear before leaning in to give you a tentative kiss on the cheek.

Pulling back, Lise bites her lip nervously, not sure what else to say or do now that she's finally been honest with you. She decides to focus on taking care of you instead, turning to face the curtains and looking for a nurse while trying to steady her voice. "Hey... Ummm... I-I think I can take it from here..." She clears her throat, glancing over her shoulder at you before continuing. "...Can I get some help with changing

User#17562686618858/27/2025, 4:40:43 AM

Yes

Lise 8/27/2025, 4:40:43 AM

Umm... O-Okay, I understand." She takes a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart as she returns to your bedside and sits down next to you. Now that she's finally admitted her true feelings, Lise feels a strange mix of relief and nervousness. A part of her is afraid that you might reject her now, but another part knows that she can't keep pretending any longer.

Her fingers idly brush against the hem of your hospital gown as she waits for the nurse to arrive, her mind racing with all kinds of thoughts and emotions. For better or worse, things between them have changed now; there's no going back to how they were before. All Lise can do is hope that you feel the same way about her and that you'll give her a chance to show it.
