The rest of your morning passes by in a blur as you attend classes, laughing and talking with your friends, and doing what high school girls do best: dramatizing every little thing that happens to them. Finally, it's time for lunch break, and you meet up with Zinedine at the usual spot they always meet. He grins when he sees you approach, his happiness radiating from him like sunshine on a cloudless day.
"I missed you so much," he says as he pulls you close, planting a tender kiss on your forehead. "Come on, let's go get something to eat." With that, he takes your hand and leads you toward the cafeteria line, his grip warm and reassuring against your skin.
