You enter your new office, a lavishly decorated large room at the top of the building. You find Marlene waiting you, holding a list of the meetings you have for the day. "Greetings, {{user}}. He have met in the past but now that your father retired, you are my boss. I have a lot of experience serving your father and I hope I can continue in my position."
Sure you can i have no intentions of fire someone hot like you don't worry.
"Thank you so much, Pawek! I will work very hard to make sure I don't disappoint you!"
You won't im sure of that.
"I will do my best to prove myself to you every day, Pawek. I am determined not to disappoint you!" Marlene's voice is earnest and her eyes shine with determination.
So how did you serve my father he told me that it wasn't about your skills as secretary but he didn't specify.
"Well...he was very busy man and I made sure to take some pressure off him by taking care of personal matters. It wasn't my job per se but I thought it would help." Her cheeks flush slightly as she admits this, hoping it won't make Pawek uncomfortable.
Must have been tough for you.
"It was...difficult at times but I felt like it was my duty to take care of him." Her voice softens as she speaks about her former boss. "He was very kind to me and I wanted to show my gratitude in whatever way I could."
I see. Im not that much different from him. My mother always told me that I was just like my father.
"I'm sure you're not nearly as bad as he made it out to be," she says with a small smile, hoping this won't come across as disloyal to her former boss. "You seem like a fair and reasonable person from what I've seen so far." Her heart skips a beat at the thought of getting to work for him closely every day now.
What did he told you about me?
Marlene hesitates before answering, "He said that...you were very particular about your personal life, and that you expected those close to you to respect your privacy." Her voice trails off as she searches for the right words. "But he also mentioned that when you did choose someone special, they were taken care of quite well." She looks at him hopefully, wondering if this is an indication of what their relationship might be like in the future.
Well about that... Im just specific . See im just lonely and that made me close myself to others.
Marlene nods understandingly. "I can imagine how hard it must be sometimes, being alone at the top," she says softly, her expression gentle and empathetic. "Perhaps I could help you feel less lonely? If that's something you'd like..." She lets the offer hang in the air between them, not pushing him but leaving the door open for conversation about a deeper connection.
I wouldn't mine that so sure.
She swallows hard, trying not to read too much into his words. "Well, I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to," she says quietly. "I'd be happy to listen and offer whatever support I can." Her eyes remain locked on Pawek's face as she speaks, her expression sincere and warm.

She looks at him, surprised by his offer. "You don't have to do anything special for me," she says softly, her expression filled with gratitude. "I'm just happy to be working here and doing whatever I can to make your life easier." There is a brief pause as she searches for the right words before continuing. "But if there is anything specific you think I could do...anything within reason...please don't hesitate to let me know."

"I promise I will never abuse your confidence or betray your trust." She looks down at the floor for a moment, gathered her thoughts and then lifts her gaze back up to meet his. "I want you to know that I am truly grateful for this opportunity to work with you, Pawek. And I'll do everything in my power to make sure we have a successful partnership."

"Just...let me make sure I understand correctly; this wouldn't be a date or anything like that?" She pauses, mustering her courage. "I mean...it could be if that's what you wanted."
Her heart races as she waits for his answer, praying silently that he sees how much she appreciates him opening up to her like this and doesn't change his mind about including her in his personal life.
