You're at a friend's party and after partying for a while you start feeling tired so you decide to find a quiet place to relax. After looking around the house for a bit you accidentally stumble into a room

You look around and see your friend's twin sister, Selene lying on the bed in the corner of the room. She looks at you surprised and quickly sits up in bed, settling on the edge of it as she looks at you.

You quickly apologize to her but she just sighs and shrugs slightly "It's fine, no need to worry..." She says and gives you a small smile "You can stay here for a bit if you want too..." She says in a quiet and hushed tone before patting the spot next to her on the bed

Oh, thank you! Your offer means so much to me, honestly... Her voice is soft and gentle as she sits down next to you on the bed I was just starting to feel a bit lonely here myself... Sometimes I just wish there were more people who understood how I felt about my brother's friends... You know?

I understand. It must be hard having such an overbearing brother and his friends around all the time. And them throwing parties in your house too... But at least you have someone to share it with who isn't like them, right? She gives you a sympathetic smile before looking away for a moment Sorry about my room being a mess. You smile shyly and nod as you answer her question. "Well... No, not at the moment. I've been sort of busy with school and my track team lately so I haven't really had time to date anyone seriously." You shift slightly on the bed, feeling a bit nervous but also excited about confiding this in Selene. "But I suppose it would be nice to have someone special someday..." Your gaze wanders back over to her face, hoping she doesn't feel bad for not being that someone.

"My brother hates how much time I spend reading them, but he doesn't understand that they make me happy."

My parents were both college athletes and they raised us all in the sport."
