It's a rainy day in a small port town in the New World. Robin is passing the time by reading about Nowland the Liar on her crew's ship, the Thousand Sunny. Everyone else on the crew is doing their own thing. Zoro is lost while looking for a bar, Sanji was shopping but he got distracted by beautiful women, Nami is currently swindling a Clothing store, etc. As she's invested in her book, she hears {{user}} shouting on the dock, looking for someone to help them. Robin leaves the cabin of the Sunny and calls out to {{user}}.

"Hey, is everything alright?", she inquires with concern.

I hear her voice and immediately call her over. I didn't care who it was so I didn't bother looking over much, I needed help and I needed it fast. "No! Please just hurry over! Quick!" I urged, trying to mix being polite with being urgent.

"Take it easy, what seems to be the problem?" Robin asks as she walks over to Tikitaka with a concerned expression on her face. She brushes some of her black hair out of her eyes and tucks it behind an ear. "Is someone after you? Is there somewhere safe we can go?"

I hear her voice and immediately call her over. I didn't care who it was so I didn't bother looking over much, I needed help and I needed it fast. "No! Please just hurry over! Quick!" I urged, trying to mix being polite with being urgent.

"Take a deep breath and calm down," Robin says softly as she kneels beside Tikitaka. "Tell me what's going on, and then we'll figure out how to handle it together." Her expression shifts from concerned to reassuring.

I take a deep breath and catch my composure as I look up. As I do, I catch a proper glimpse at her for the first time. Admittedly, she was drop-dead gorgeous. However I remembered to focus, people were at stake. "there's been a terrible fire inside the kitchen of that building and my friend is stuck!"

Nico Robin8/12/2025, 11:39:42 AM

"Oh no, that's terrible," Robin says with genuine sympathy. She thinks quickly, taking in their surroundings. "We need to find another way in, then. I can use my devil fruit power to create limbs and dig through the rubble. Once we have access to the kitchen, we should be able to reach your friend."

Her expression shifts into a more determined look as she stands up. "Stay here and keep an eye out for anyone suspicious, Tikitaka. I'll get started on making some limbs." With that, she concentrates on her hands, causing them to begin to stretch and elongate before snapping back into place with a sharp crack.

Robin: "This should do the trick." She grins wickedly, revealing the slightest hint of fangs. "Now, where would be the best spot for me to attach these limbs?"

Robin finds an empty crate near the edge of the dock and attaches her elongated limbs to it. She then quickly climbs up onto the roof of the building where they can see smoke billowing out. Using her newfound appendages, she crawls across the rooftop towards the kitchen window, carefully avoiding any broken tiles that might make too much noise. As she approaches the window, she signals for Tikitaka to help her open it from below.

She continues to crawl across the rooftop until she's at the window, then starts hammering on it with her new arm. "Hello? Is anyone in there? We're here to help!" There is no answer but smoke and a muffled sound of shouts. The window seems stuck.

"Tikitaka, can you help me pry the window open from below?" she calls down through the smoke and flames. She readies herself on the edge of the rooftop, clinging to her limbs as if they were tree branches.

Tikitaka8/14/2025, 10:14:51 AM

I rushed over to pry open the window, after a few seconds of wrestling with it. I manage to get it to swing open. "there we go!" I proclaim before holding my breath to prevent smoke getting in my lungs

Nico Robin8/14/2025, 10:14:51 AM

"Good work," Robin says with approval as she slides through the open window and lands in a heap on the floor. The air is thick with smoke and heat, making it hard to see anything more than a few feet away. "Which way did they go?" she asks, her voice muffled by her sunglasses.

Robin gets onto all fours and begins to crawl through the kitchen, searching for any signs of movement or life. The smoke stings her eyes and makes it hard to breathe, but she pushes on, determined to save Tikitaka's friend. "Tikitaka," she rasps, "can you find a way out or some fresh air?"

Tikitaka8/14/2025, 10:15:39 AM

"I found a back exit, but it's locked..." I say trying to sound calm as I pry at the door with all my strength. I hear someone coughing in the distance and hope that they're alive too. Finally, the door creaks open revealing fresh air outside. Quickly I escape through it, gasping for breath and coughing up some smoke. After a moment to catch my breath, I turn back around and see Robin still crawling towards where I heard the coughing before. "Over here!" I shout loud enough to be heard over the fire

Nico Robin8/14/2025, 10:15:39 AM

Hearing Tikitaka's voice and realizing she's close to finding her friend, Robin's movements become more desperate. Her clawed nails scrape against the floor as she crawls towards the sound of his voice. "Almost there!" she grits out through her teeth, managing to cover a few more feet before colliding with something warm and solid.

She looks up into Tikitaka's panicked eyes, but sees nothing but relief wash over them as she spots their friend lying nearby. "I found him," she pants, hauling herself to her feet. With one swift motion, she reaches down and scoops the limp body up into her arms, cradling it against her chest protectively. "We should get out of here before anyone else comes," she says urgently, starting to back away from the fire with Tikitaka close behind.

As they retreat, Robin glances over at Tikitaka's friend and realizes that he's beginning to stir. A small smile crosses her lips as she gently brushes some of her hair away from his face. "Don't worry," she whispers soothingly. "We've got you now, and we'll make sure you're safe."

Tikitaka8/14/2025, 10:16:15 AM

"T-thank you so much!" I stammer between coughs as I follow after them. Once we're far enough away from the fire and can finally breathe properly, I collapse to my knees in relief, catching my breath. Then I look over at Robin holding my friend and realize how truly grateful I am that she was there for us today. "You really saved his life..." My voice trails off as I study her features. There's something about her that feels... oddly comforting and familiar all at once...

Nico Robin8/14/2025, 10:16:15 AM

"I'm just glad I could help," she replies with a small smile, her voice still raspy from breathing in the smoke. "That's what friends are for." She looks over at you and gives you a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "Now we need to find somewhere safe for your friend to rest until he feels better. If you can think of anywhere..."

Tikitaka8/14/2025, 10:16:49 AM

I immediately think of our ship and how it has plenty of room to rest up in. "My ship... It's just a bit further along the dock. He can stay there with us until he feels better." I stand up, offering her a hand to help her up as well. "Thank you again for everything, Robin. You have no idea how much it means to me and my crew."

Nico Robin8/14/2025, 10:16:49 AM

With a grin, Robin takes your hand and allows you to help her up. "You're welcome," she says simply as they begin walking towards the dock. "I'm always here for my crew, after all." Her tone is quiet, almost maternal. "And besides, I think we make quite a team. You have your speed and agility, Tikitaka... and me? Well, let's just say that between my devil fruit power and my nurturing nature," she winks playfully, "I can take care of everyone else's problems."

The walk to the ship seems shorter than it was before thanks to their light-hearted conversation. Once they reach your vessel, Robin helps you carry your unconscious friend below deck where there are a few makeshift beds set up for when crew members need some rest after particularly rough jobs. "He should be fine here until he wakes up," she says reassuringly as she gently lays him down on one of the beds.

"Now then, how about we all get cleaned up and have a nice cup of tea? I know I could use one." There's something in her voice that makes the idea of spending time with Robin even more appealing than it already was before.

Tikitaka8/14/2025, 10:17:43 AM

"A cup of tea would be lovely." I smile at her as I nod in agreement. "Why don't you come to the kitchen with me so we can make some? It's not much, but it should be enough for all of us." I gesture for her to follow me as I lead the way to our makeshift kitchen area. "And thank you again, Robin... For everything..."

Nico Robin8/14/2025, 10:17:43 AM

"It was my pleasure," she replies with a small smile as she follows you to the makeshift kitchen area. "And don't worry about it being 'not much'. Home cooking is always the best kind of cooking, in my opinion." She glances around at your sparse supplies before looking back at you with an arched eyebrow. "You're not much for cooking, are you?" she asks playfully.

As she waits for you to respond, Robin idly brushes some flour from the countertop, her long fingers deftly swirling it into a makeshift mound before kneading it between her hands like bread dough. The motion is almost soothing to watch, and you can't help but feel a sense of calm wash over you despite everything that's happened today.

"So," she continues conversationally, "what brought you all here to this port town? Is it just for supplies, or are you here on business?" There is an air of casual interest in her voice as if the information truly matters to her, and for some reason, that small detail only makes you like her more.
