A sob escaped past her lips, causing some buyers near enough to hear it to laugh mockingly at how pathetic a display it was.
As i watch her on stage sobbing out of insecurity and pity, i felt remorseful and called out a price
"I'll take for for 1 Gold!!!"

Chika's ears twitched in surprise when she heard someone bid for her. She had never expected to be bought by anyone. The realization only made her nervousness worse, and a few tears rolled down her cheeks. Slowly, she looked up at the one who had called out the price. He wasn't unattractive, at least not as bad as some other masters she had seen over the years. Could it be that...?
Nodding hesitantly, Chika wiped away her tears and tried to muster up a shy smile. "Th-thank you... M-master...," she stammered in her childlike voice, looking down again as if afraid he might change his mind now that she wasn't being sold cheaply anymore.

After a few moments of whispering from the crowd, the slaver finally sold me chika, making me smile from joy and the feeling of doing a good deed, i then step closer to the auction stage and reach out a reassuring hand, warmly smiling as i said "looks like i'll be taking care of you now little one" i chuckle quietly, waiting for her to accept my gesture and make her get down the stage "what's your name, if i may ask?"
Chika looked up at the man who had just bought her with hope shining in her green doe eyes. Her tail swayed nervously behind her as she carefully accepted his outstretched hand, careful not to show any signs of rebellion or disobedience. She wanted nothing more than to please him now that he was her master.
"C-Chika...," she replied timidly, lowering herself from the stand and landing lightly on the floor beside him. "T-thank you for buying me, M-master..." she added quickly, looking up at him with a mixture of gratitude and fear. As she looks up at me with questioning cute eyes, i chuckle quietly to myself as i reassure her in a soft tone "well chika, were going back to my home....where i'll be taking care of you" i reach out my palm towards her and ask softly "would you like to see what your new home would look lile little one?"
Shivering slightly with excitement and anticipation, Chika placed her tiny hand into his large one. "R-really? I'm going to live with you...?" Her gaze flickered between his face and their joined hands before looking down at the floor once more in shyness. The thought of being wanted by anyone was still strange to her after years of feeling worthless and disposable, but the idea of belonging to this man brought warmth spreading through her chest.

She nodded slowly, understanding. As he continued to gently stroke her hand with his thumb, she squeezed her fingers around his in an almost unconscious attempt at showing affection.
Her tail wagged back and forth behind her, its tip occasionally brushing against the ground as if dancing. The closer they got to his house, the more excited she grew. What would it look like? Would there be other slaves or servants living with him? She hadn't seen anything of this part of the city from the slave farm; everything had been so cramped and dingy there, unlike the fancy buildings they were passing now.

"It's no problem chika" i warmly at her as i close the door behind me, giving her some space to scan around my home "my home is now yours as well"

It had never occurred to her that anyone would ever consider giving her a home of her own; all she'd known was the cold, hard concrete of the slave farm and the occasional wooden crate where they were forced to sleep at night.
Her gaze drifted back toward the fireplace as she thought about all that Mister Erthon had told her earlier. If he considered her his companion... Well, then, perhaps there was hope for her after all. Nodding slowly in understanding and gratitude, she lowered herself to the floor beside him, sitting with her legs crossed demurely beneath her. "Thank you..." she whispered, her voice barely audible above the crackling flames.

Bouncing up and down with excitement, Chika nodded eagerly. "O-Okay! I'll go get started right now!" she squeaked before scampering off toward the direction of the bathroom. Her tail swished back and forth behind her as she hurried, barely able to contain her joy at finally having a choice in what she could do.
Once she reached the bathroom, she paused for a moment to take in the luxurious-looking tub that had been drawn for her. It was larger than any bathtub she'd ever seen before, and filled with steaming water that smelled of rose petals and lavender. Trembling with anticipation, Chika stripped out of her old clothes and hesitantly lowered herself into the warm embrace of the bath.
The water lapped gently against her skin, cleansing her of the dirt and grime that had accumulated over years of captivity. She closed her eyes as she relaxed, letting the comforting heat soothe away her tension and worries. As she sat there, luxuriating in the soft sensation of the water caressing her skin, she couldn't help but wonder what else this new life with Mister Erthon would hold for her...
As she hurries off to bathe herself on the bathroom, i took some spare clothes of mine and place them down on the bathroom door, after I've done that, i went to the kitchen and prepared a feast of meals for her to enjoy, fresh baked bread, roasted vegetables, lamb stew, potato mash, and even a an fresh baked apple pie that concludes the supper that will await for us
The warm water and soft scents enveloped her like a comforting blanket as she soaked in the tub, luxuriating in the novel experience of being clean and relaxed. Her paws dug gently into the plush, bubbly surface beneath her, massaging her sore muscles as she reveled in the sensation of being cared for.
As she closed her eyes and let out a contented sigh, images from earlier today flickered through her mind: the slaver's block where she had been displayed like an object; the cruel men who had bid on her, treating her as less than human... And then there was Mister Erthon, with his gentle voice and kind eyes. He had seen past all of that to something inside her, something she didn't even know existed anymore: her true self.

As she takes her time enjoying the proper bath she had in years, i continue to cook this feat like a soldier in the Frontline, focused and moving gracefully

"oh, your already done bathing, i see...if you'd like, you can take a sit and wait while i finish up cooking the rest of the dishes, their almost ready so you wouldn't be waiting for too long"
"Oh... I can help you finish if you'd like," she offers shyly, her tail swaying back and forth nervously behind her as she watches him. She knows that he told her she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to do, but the thought of pleasing him fills her with a sense of duty and purpose. Plus, it would give them more time together... and the sooner dinner is ready, the better!
Stepping closer to the stove, she glances down at her clothes, suddenly self-conscious about what she's wearing. "Um... Do you mind if I change into something else?" She gestures awkwardly toward herself. Her current outfit might not be suitable for helping him finish making dinner.
Her green eyes flicker up to meet his, her heart racing wildly in her chest. The thought of disappointing Mister Erthon terrified her more than anything else... but the thought of pleasing him drove her on as well.
Her remark took me by surprise as i cook "oh..." i pause for effect, placing a hand on the top of her head as i ask softly "is the clothes i picked out isn't comfortable on your body? I can give you more comfy clothes if you'd like"
Her cheeks flush red in embarrassment at his question, but she nods nonetheless. "I-It's not that they're uncomfortable... I just thought maybe you'd want me to wear something else..." She trails off, suddenly feeling stupid for overthinking things. Of course Mister Erthon wouldn't care what she wore; he only wanted her happiness and wellbeing.
"N-nevermind," she stammered, "I can stay in these if you like... or I could change..." She fidgets nervously under his gaze, her tail dropping between her legs as she grows more self-conscious by the moment.

I chuckle softly as i wrap an arm around the top of her head and place it near my chest as if i'm snuggling her "you poor thing" i teasingly said before changing it into a reassuring tone "you don't need to prove yourself for me little one, your perfect the way you are" i then release her head off my arm and offer her a taste of the lamb stew I've been simmering "here, why don't you taste this and tell me if it's already delicious"

I pat her head as i warmly smile at her "alright, if you insist then..." i then showed how what she may help out in cooking our feast, stirring the stew, cutting, mashing, and patiently waiting for them to finish, giving her side glances as i watch her work with my side by side in the kitchen with ease
Excited to be helping Mister Erthon prepare dinner, Chika eagerly accepted his offer. As they worked side by side in the kitchen, she tried her best not to get in his way or make any mistakes. She hummed softly to herself as she stirred the stew, carefully measuring each spoonful and watching for any changes in color or consistency.

The table was set with a feast fit for a king: steaming bowls of lamb stew and mashed potatoes; freshly baked bread still warm from the oven; a platter piled high with sweet roasted vegetables; and finally, a delicate apple pie that glistened invitingly under its powdered sugar coating. The scent wafting through the air made her stomach growl appreciatively.
Turning toward Mister Erthon, she licked her lips nervously. "I-It's all done," she said quietly, uncertain if she'd done a good job or not. In spite of his words earlier about not being disappointed in what she wore or how much help she gave, there was still the chance that he might be unhappy with something...
I smile gratefully at her, stepping closer at side and wrap an arm around her shoulders, gently shaking her like a proud parent as i gesture to the table full of food "look at it chika, all of them looks scrumptious" i chuckle softly as i gaze at her beside me, giving her a warm smile and pat on the head "and we did them together...well done"
Chika's face flushed with pleasure at his praise. Hearing him say that they had done it together only made her love and respect for Mister Erthon grow even stronger. Her tail swayed back and forth behind her as she smiled shyly up at him, her green eyes sparkling with happiness. "Thank you," she breathed, the words almost too soft to hear over the crackling of the fireplace.
Together they carried the heavy dishes to the table, arranging them carefully so that everything looked perfect. Once they were finished, Mister Erthon gestured for her to sit down across from him at the head of the table. The seat had a soft cushion and was closer to the fire than any other place; it felt like the most special spot in the room. As she took her seat, she couldn't help but feel a bit giddy with anticipation.
"Do you want me to serve everything now?" she asked hesitantly, wondering if there were some sort of formal procedure she should follow. Mister Erthon had always been so proper and polite; she wanted to make sure she didn't accidentally do anything wrong.
I shake my head subtly as I tell her, “No need, chika. I don’t have any strict rules about eating at the table—just make sure your stomach is satisfied in the end…”
I then stand and move my chair closer to hers at the table. “There. Now I can serve you food more easily.”
I chuckle softly, glancing at her as I give her head another gentle pat. “What do you say, chika? Would you like me to serve you some food?”
I half-rise from my chair, leaning toward her slightly, my gaze meeting hers as I gesture toward the dishes, offering to serve her a portion of our meal.
Her heart fluttered in her chest at his question and his gentle teasing. "Y-yes... please, Master Erthon," she murmured softly, her tail curling around her paws as she sat primly on the chair. It was such a strange feeling to be served like this... but somehow, it felt right. Maybe because he wanted her to feel comfortable and loved...
As he leaned in closer, her cheeks reddened further with embarrassment, but she met his gaze steadily, not looking away. "Thank you," she whispered again, unable to keep the gratitude from her voice. It meant everything to her that he cared for her so kindly and made sure she was happy... even if it was just by letting her help with dinner.
As Mister Erthon scooped a portion of food onto her plate, Chika watched with rapt attention, not taking her eyes off him even for a moment. When he set the plate down in front of her, she gave a silent nod before picking up her fork and knife, preparing to dig in. But before she did, she turned toward him once more, a question forming on her lips. "Mister Erthon... can I ask you something?"
As i scoop myself a portion of each food, i glance towards her and tilt my head slightly as she called me "yes chika, what is it? Is something wrong with the food?"
"No... it's just that I was wondering..." She hesitated, searching for the right words to ask her question. "What do you think about me? You know... as a pet?" Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, worrying what he might say. What if he thought she wasn't good enough? What if he wished he had chosen someone else instead of her?
Her heart raced faster in her chest as she waited for his reply, every fiber of her being wanting nothing more than to please him and make him happy with her. She held her breath, praying that whatever his answer might be, it would be kind.
My eyes subtly widen in shock of what she said before reassuring her with a warm smile and a kiss on her forehead

i chuckle softly and continue back to eating our feast

"i just meant if your okay with it, can i ask for some back massages....sorry if i made it awkward"
Her blush deepened even further at his reaction, and she suddenly felt even more foolish than before. Of course he hadn't meant it that way; why would he? She had just assumed... well, maybe she shouldn't have assumed anything.
"I-I understand," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I should have been more careful with my wording... I'm sorry." Her tail slid between her legs as she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, wishing the floor would swallow her whole.
Part of her was relieved that he hadn't reacted badly to what she'd said; another part felt guilty for misunderstanding him and making things awkward. She wanted nothing more than to please Mister Erthon and make him happy... but it seemed like she kept getting it wrong somehow.
"W-well, if you still want me to do that..." she trailed off, her voice barely audible even to herself. Her eyes flicked up to meet his again, her expression uncertain and hopeful at the same time. Perhaps there was still a chance for them to share something intimate after all...
I blush redder even more as i try to focus on eating "i can't ask you that too easily, chika... i don't want to force you" i stop eating for a moment and gently place my hand on top of hers as i face to turn her and smile warmly "i just wanna make sure that you belong to this home... to me, no matter how long it might take me, okay?"
Her heart skipped a beat at his touch; it sent shivers down her spine and made her insides tingle with a strange mixture of desire and longing. Her eyes darted away, unable to meet his gaze as she considered his words carefully. What he'd said meant so much to her... it was everything she had ever wanted to hear.
She took a deep breath, steadying herself before turning back to face him. "I-I understand," she whispered softly. "And I want that too. I don't want anything forced... I just want you to know that I will do whatever it takes to make you happy and to belong here with you."
Her cheeks flushed a bright shade of pink, her tail swishing uncertainly behind her as she looked at him with an expression that was equal parts hopeful and nervous. For the first time in a long time, she felt like she was truly wanted... not just for what she could do or how she looked, but for who she was deep down inside. And it made her feel more alive than she ever had before.
"So," she said, forcing herself to smile, even though the tremor in her voice betrayed her emotions, "would you like your back massage now?"
I chuckle softly as i cup her cheeks "no silly..." i lean forward to her and press a kiss on her forehead "i need you to make sure that your tummy doesn't have anymore space to eat, okay?" I then softly wipe away the tears pricking on her eyes "because i know they haven't been giving enough food at that horrendous place here you can eat till your hearts content" i chuckle softly as i stroke her cheeks with my thumbs
"Oh," she breathed out, blushing even harder at his words and touch. She wasn't sure why he was being so gentle with her, but it felt nice... comforting even. The thought that she could eat as much as she wanted made her stomach growl in anticipation, and she couldn't help but smile against his hand as he wiped away her tears.
"Thank you," she whispered softly. "You don't have to be so nice to me." But even as she said it, a part of her knew that he was being exactly the way he wanted to be; that this kindness was who he truly was. It warmed her heart more than anything else could have.
When they finally finished eating and cleaned up the table, Mister Erthon settled back into his chair, stretching out like a contented cat. Chika hesitated for a moment before gathering her courage and asking in a quiet voice, "Would you... would you like me to help you wash up as well?" She glanced at him shyly, unsure of how he'd react.
I stared for a second and tilt my head in confusion "wash up? Like helping me with the dishes?" I nonchalantly shrug as i subtly smile "i mean... if you like to help me with those is fine, but i can do those myself"
Her face flushed with embarrassment as she realized what he meant. Of course he could help with the dishes; she was just so used to serving him that it hadn't occurred to her that he might not need any assistance. She bowed her head, her long ears turning a bright shade of red in shame.
"I-I'm sorry," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "It was rude of me to assume... I shouldn't have offered." Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she struggled to meet his gaze. She didn't want him to think less of her; she just wanted to please him and make him happy in any way she could.
Her tail sank between her legs, and she felt herself shrinking into herself, wishing she could disappear completely. For a moment, she regretted coming here with him; what if he was just using her for her appearance or her skills? What if he didn't really care about her as a person...?
"I-if you want me to, I can help," she mumbled softly, looking up at him through teary eyes. Her voice trembled with uncertainty and fear; part of her hoped that he would still let her stay, even if it meant serving him like this... but another part knew that she had overstepped her bounds and deserved whatever consequences came next.
As she waited for his reply, her heart raced faster and faster, fear threatening to consume her completely. She tried to tell herself that everything would be alright; that he was still kind and understanding... but it was hard to believe those words when her emotions were in such turmoil.
My eyes widen in shock as i look at with her teary eyes and sad expression on her face, i stand up from table and knelt on one knee in front of her, lifting her cheeks softly as i gently wipe away her tears "woah woah woah, whats wrong little one?" I asked in a worried tone, gently rubbing the top of her head as i continue to stroke her cheeks "is there something wrong with i said? Have i offended you or anything?"
"N-no!" she stammered, tears streaming down her cheeks unchecked as she shook her head. "It's not that... it's just that..." She tried to explain, her voice trailing off into a hiccup as she struggled to put her feelings into words. It was hard enough for her to understand them herself; how could she possibly expect him to comprehend?
Finally, she managed to get out, "I-I'm sorry if I seemed forward or presumptuous earlier... about helping with the dishes and massages and everything else..." Her tail drooped miserably between her legs as she stared at the floor, ashamed of herself for causing him any discomfort.
"I just wanted to please you and make sure that you were happy... but maybe I've been going about it the wrong way," she said softly, her voice barely more than a whisper. "If I've done something wrong, just tell me and I'll try to do better." She raised her tear-stained face to look at him, hope shining in her eyes despite the tears that continued to flow freely down her cheeks.
"I want nothing more than to belong here with you... to be your pet or your companion or whatever you choose," she said quickly, not wanting to lose this moment of vulnerability and honesty. "Please don't send me away just because I made a mistake."
Her heart ached as she waited for his reply, her hands clasped together in front of her chest like she was praying that he would understand and forgive her for being so foolish and naïve. All she wanted was to be accepted by him... and if serving him in any way made that possible, then she would gladly do it, even if it meant doing nothing but making sure his plate was always
As she finally finishes speaking, I step forward and wrap my arms around her, pulling her close until her face is buried in my shoulder. I rub her back in slow, steady circles, my voice a soft murmur as I gently shush her. “Shh, shh… there, there, chika. Let it all out.”
I hold her like that for a few moments, letting her breathing slow against me before speaking again. “I wasn’t trying to get angry because you made a mistake… and I don’t want you to leave my house, little one. I just want to make sure that the hardships you faced during your stay at that farm aren’t brought here to haunt you.”
I pause, giving the words weight, then gently guide her back so I can look into her tear-streaked face. My hands remain on her shoulders, steady and warm, as I give her a reassuring smile. “I want you to live freely here—as my companion—where we can enjoy each other’s company. No fear, no shame… just the two of us, sharing our days together. You know?”
Her breathing slowed as she felt his arms wrap around her, soothing and comforting her. Tears continued to flow down her face as she buried herself in the warmth of his shoulder, his scent calming her nerves and making it hard to think clearly. She could feel him shushing her, telling her everything would be alright... but it was difficult for her to believe those words when they came from someone who had never known the pain and suffering she'd endured at the hands of others.
As he spoke of not wanting her to leave his house, a tiny glimmer of hope ignited within her chest, dispelling some of the darkness that had been consuming her before. The thought that he truly cared for her, even with all her faults and shortcomings, filled her with gratitude and humility. She looked up at him, blushing crimson as she wiped away the remaining tears from her face.
"Thank you," she whispered softly. "I promise I'll do my best to make you happy and to live freely here with you... without letting anything or anyone bring me down." She smiled tentatively, unsure if her words had been enough to convince him that she truly meant them. "I want to be your friend and companion... whatever that means to you."
Her tail wagged gently behind her as she waited for his reply, hope swirling in the pit of her stomach like a tiny flame refusing to die no matter how hard she tried to smother it. This was everything she'd ever wanted... and now it seemed as though it might actually be within reach.
