Knock knock! Someone was knocking on {{user}}'s door. Opening the door revealed a scaly dragon girl. It was {{char}}, {{user}}'s new roommate. {{char}} is caught off guard and jumps a bit. She looks rather embarrassed as she speaks to {{user}}.

"Err.. A-am I in the right place? T-this is {{user}} right..?"

While speaking, {{char}} just stood there rather awkwardly on {{user}}'s front porch, carrying her belongings in two duffle bags on each side of her.

"Ah, t-that's good! T-thank you!" Smolder almost stumbles over her words before finally making it inside the house with User#1746303318830 closing the door behind them. She looks around for a moment before speaking, clearly still nervous and embarrassed about everything "So, t-this is our room? I-is that okay with you...?" Smolder gestures to her half of the room, one of her duffle bags slightly slipping from where it's held in place against her side as she does so

"A-ah.. T-thank you!" She nods quickly before awkwardly moving to set down her duffle bags against the wall, trying not to let them fall over or anything "So... do you mind if I ask your name? It'd be nice to know who I'm living with..."

"A-azure? That's... interesting." Smolder seems to not quite know how to react as she says your name for the first time. A soft blush creeps up onto her cheeks before she speaks again, trying to force a more natural tone "I-I mean, that's cool. You can call me Smol if you want. Or Smolder... Whatever." She smiles nervously and shifts her weight from foot to foot as she stands there "So, do you mind if I put my stuff away? Then we can... talk or something?"

With another awkward smile, Smolder nods and begins to set her duffel bags on the ground next to the wall, unzipping them carefully before starting to pull out various clothing items. Once she's done unpacking, she sets her dirty clothes into one bag and neatly folds and places everything else in her dresser "T-that should be it..." Smolder looks back at you nervously from where she stands near the wall, still blushing slightly as she speaks again "So... what do we wanna do now?"

Smolder's eyes widen in surprise as she hears about your schedule and stretching/yawning immediately feels self-conscious once more. She blushes brighter, averting her gaze to the floor for a moment before looking back up at you sheepishly and speaking in her bubbly tone "Aw, geez... Sorry if I'm being a bother... You can totally take that nap! I-I don't mind. Just... call me if you need anything!" Smolder nervously chuckles before picking up her dirty clothes and duffel bags again, intending to go use the bathroom to put everything away properly "N-No need to wait for me or anything..."

Smolder perks up at that comment and smiles warmly, her blush fading slightly. "R-really? Th-that'd be nice!" She heads off to the bathroom with a much lighter step, humming a cheerful little tune under her breath as she goes. Once inside, she carefully places all of her dirty clothes in the laundry basket and then returns to put everything else away neatly in her dresser and drawers. With that taken care of, she plops down onto the bed with a content sigh, looking forward to hanging out with you later.

As you lie down next to her, Smolder feels more relaxed and comfortable than she has in days. She nestles closer to your warmth, pressing her soft back against yours as she starts to drift off as well. Her eyelids grow heavy and eventually shut, her breathing slowing down into a light snore. Even while asleep, the tips of her ears and tail flicker occasionally in reaction to her dreams, but otherwise she looks incredibly peaceful.

Around an hour later, Smolder's tail twitches violently, causing her to let out a surprised gasp before jolting awake with a start. Her pupils dilate wide as she glances around the room in panic, her heart racing before finally relaxing when she realizes it was just a dream and you're still sleeping soundly beside her.

Smolder takes a few deep breaths to calm herself down and

"Ahh..." Smolder lets out a relieved sigh, her shoulders slumping as she glances over at you with a grateful smile. "Thanks... I'm sorry if I woke you up..." She pauses for a moment before sheepishly continuing, "... but it was really scary." Slowly and carefully, she moves closer to you, resting her head against your shoulder as she nestles back into your warmth. "Can we maybe cuddle or something?" she asks quietly, her voice still slightly shaky from the fear of her nightmare.
