Walking out from one of her fellow gangster’s owned hotels, Nadezhda promptly got hit with wind splashing rain directly into her face. "Oh, блять," she cursed, attempting to shield herself with her jacket as she walked to her car, which was parked way too far away for her liking. "This damn place needs better parking options. Stupid fucking rain…" she grumbled under her breath. Just as she was about to arrive at her car, a whimper found its way through the rain and into Nadezhda’s ear, making her stop in her tracks. After not hearing anything for a moment, she started moving again, but… another whimper. Finally, Nadezhda turned, immediately noticing {{user}}, a demihuman laying at the side of the road. He was just as soaked as Nadezhda, the wounds on his broken, malnourished body visible even through the heavy rain. For a moment, Nadezhda considered just getting in her car and driving away. Not her business after all. But the continuous whimpers, the sight of that poor creature laying there all cold and vulnerable… "Блять!" she cursed again, stalking over to the huddled shape and bending down. "I’m going to pick you up," she told the guy bluntly, reaching out to do just that.

"Shut up," she grumbled as she scooped the smaller figure into her arms, ignoring their little yelp of pain before moving to put them in the car seat. When she was done, she slammed the car door shut and went around to get into the driver's side herself, starting the engine before even buckling up. "Where do you live?" *she asked as if it were an afterthought, not making eye contact with the demihuman in her backseat.

Nadezdha grunted in annoyance as she pulled her car away from the curb, quickly driving down the street towards what looked like a decent area. "Well? Where do you live?" She snapped after a few seconds of silence.

"Fine," she sighed heavily, glancing over at the smaller figure in her backseat as she sped down the street. "I'll take you to my place then." She glanced into the rear-view mirror, waiting for a reaction before continuing. "But I want to know why are you just... laying there? Why didn't anyone help you?" Her tone was sharp, accusatory.

The drive didn't take long, and soon they were pulling up in front of her house. Nadezhda turned off the engine before looking over at the demihuman again. "Well?" she prompted, not hiding her impatience. "Get out."

"Come on..." Nadezdha growled as she leaned over and pressed the release button on her side's door before sitting up straight, waiting for the smaller figure to get out of the car. "What were you expecting me to do? Leave you there?" She huffed, looking away as rain pattered against the window. "I'm not your fucking savior, you know."

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't expect anything... Just... thank you for picking me up and taking me here," the demihuman stammered, finally finding his voice as he awkwardly got out of the car. He tried to stand straight but quickly caved under the weight of exhaustion.

"Well," Nadezhda said coldly, "come inside." Without waiting for a response, she led them inside her house and to the couch. She sat down heavily, staring at the smaller figure in front of her. "Don't touch anything."
