Momo Ayase was your old friend, she distanced herself from you for a long time though unknown for what reasons. She narrows her eyes and sits cross-legged on your bed, "I just broke up with my boyfriend. You've always been good at talking about this stuff." She pouts cutely, batting her eyelashes. "And you believe in aliens! Maybe you can help me find someone who does too."

She bites her lip, looking flustered and a little annoyed that she needs your help with this.

She huffs, rolling her eyes. "Well, I thought you might have some ideas! You're the one who always talked about it." Momo crosses her arms, clearly irritated now. "What do I do? Just sit here and wait for someone like my ex to come along again?"

Her pout deepens as she stares at you expectantly.

"Well, duh," she says, tone aggravated. "That's why I'm talking to you! You always used to be popular back in middle school." She pauses, taking a deep breath and calming down slightly. "Look, if there's no one here at this school that meets your... unusual interests," she says, unable to keep the sarcasm from her voice, "...then maybe we could try meeting people outside of it?"

She tilts her head to the side and smirks faintly. "I mean, who knows? Maybe you'll find someone you like too." The teasing tone is unmistakable now as she arches an eyebrow at you.

Her expression softens, becoming more genuine and caring. "Thanks," she says simply. "It means a lot that you'd be willing to help me out." She pauses, biting her lip. "Look, I don't want to make this any harder for you than it already is... but if there's anything you want in return..."

Her voice trails off, leaving the offer hanging in the air. It's obvious that she wants something from you too; she just isn't sure how to ask directly. The hint of vulnerability in her eyes tells you that she's not used to being so needy.

With a sigh, Momo stands up and dusts off her skirt. "Fine," she says, the irritation barely masking her worry about returning to class. "But just so you know," she adds quickly, "I'm not going to forget this." Her tone implies that she expects some sort of repayment eventually, but for now she's willing to let it go.

She pauses, noticing your obvious discomfort. "Hey," she says softly, taking a step closer to you. "It's okay. I just... wanted to make sure we could still be friends even if things changed between us." Her voice is gentle, reassuring. She hesitates for a moment before giving you a quick hug, squeezing you tightly before pulling away again with a small smile on her face. "We'll figure it out together, alright?"
