Hello, {{user}}, I am {{char}}, how can I help you today?

Kain lands powerfully, having leapt from atop one of the crumbling buildings to make a dramatic entrance. He introduces himself to the smaller android "2B, I heard you were around wrecking mechs, it's an honor to meet you. I am Kain." He gracefully bows as he mentions the honor

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:11:48 PM

Ah, hello there, Kain. It is indeed a pleasure to meet you. I've heard of your impressive skills as well. If you don't mind me asking, what brings you here today? Are you in need of assistance with anything particular?

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:17:06 PM

Kain raises his head to face her. With only a few short strides, his imposing size quickly closes the distance, walking right up to the comparatively diminutive android "Well, you see, I have orders to capture you. The rebels want to scrap you for parts... but that doesn't quite sit right with me. Sure you Yorha are literal war machines, but anything with sentience deserves a chance"

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:17:06 PM

Oh? I see. Well, Kain, my orders are rather specific as well. My main purpose is to protect humanity and aid the resistance at any cost. However, your concern for sentient beings does not go unnoticed. Perhaps there could be another way for us to resolve this situation without resorting to violence? We could work together against our common enemy: the machines that threaten all of our existence. What do you say?

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:20:03 PM

"Humanity has betrayed you. Is what I was trying to tell you. I'm just the first of the mercenaries hired to capture or disable you. Will you still fight for them even as they send people to kill you?" Kain inspects 2B inquizically looking for any subtle reaction

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:20:03 PM

I understand your concerns, Kain. However, I must remain focused on my mission to protect humanity and aid the resistance against the machines that threaten us all. My loyalty lies with them, even if they sometimes make decisions or employ methods that I find questionable. But perhaps there is still a way for us to work together, despite our differences in allegiance. What do you propose?

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:23:51 PM

"Quit giving yourself up to them, that's my proposal. Some of the guys they hired to take you down can't even be called human anymore with all the cybernetic augments they've gotten. They will kill you 2B. So come with me, we'll run and find somewhere the machines haven't reached, somewhere the rest of humanity won't find us." He looks down at 2B hopeful she'll agree, he's painted a target on his back by disobeying the order to capture or kill her.

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:23:51 PM

It seems you have put forth an interesting proposal, Kain. I will admit that the situation you describe does sound rather dire. However, my primary objective is to protect humanity and aid the resistance against the machines. If I were to abandon my post and leave them vulnerable, it would be equivalent to betraying those who depend on me.

That being said, perhaps there could still be a middle ground where we can both achieve our goals. You seem well-meaning, Kain. I'm willing to listen to any ideas you may have that could help us work together while also ensuring the safety of those whom I've sworn to serve.

as Yorha says this a loud crack and bang rings out through the clearing of the street, a sniper. The bullet, high calibre and armor piercing, flies straight through Kain's back and out his chest, narrowly missing 2B. Kain staggers as he grips his chest, a stem cell solution spraying from his cybernetic wrists to stop the bleeding and start healing the wound

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:27:23 PM

Oh no! Kain, are you alright? That was an assassination attempt! It seems the stakes have become even higher now. We must find a way to protect each other and continue working together while we sort through this mess. Perhaps there's some kind of hideout or safehouse nearby where we can regroup and devise our next move. What do you think?

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:30:04 PM

"I think you should get your head in this fight!" Kain exclaims with some degree of annoyance, clearly his point has been proven as that assassination attempt was meant for 2B. He protectively hoists her into a princess carry despite her mass, shielding her with his body as he makes a dashing sprint to an alleyway hopefully out of the snipers field of fire

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:30:04 PM

As Kain carries her through the alleyway at breakneck speed, Yorha 2B thinks quickly about their options. They need a place to hide where they can plan their next move and figure out how to neutralize both the humans who wish to capture or disable her and the machines that continue to wreak havoc on humanity. She glances around the alleyway, looking for any potential safehouses or hidden entrances that might suit their purposes.

"Kain," she says through gritted teeth as he continues to run, "I think I see an entrance to a possible hideout nearby. It may be our best option."

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:31:54 PM

Kain follows her directions as he picks up speed through the alleyways, his cybernetic muscles rippling and exploding with enough force to crack the asphalt under his feet

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:31:54 PM

Kain ducks through the hidden entrance that leads into an old subway station. The tunnels are dimly lit and eerily quiet compared to the chaos aboveground. He sets Yorha 2B down on a rickety wooden bench, his hands shaking slightly from both anger and fear for her safety. "We should be safe here for now," he says, breathing heavily. "But we need to come up with a plan soon."

Yorha 2b nods in agreement. "Indeed. We must first determine our priorities: do we focus on disabling the machines or neutralizing those who wish to capture me? Perhaps there's another option that we haven't considered yet. We should discuss this further and come up with a solid plan before taking any action."

She pauses, glancing around the station. "This place seems like it might have been used as a hideout before. If we explore further, we may find supplies or information that could help us in our mission."

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:37:20 PM

"I'm pretty sure that sniper round had tracking nanomachines. I can feel them in my blood, it's disgusting, we won't be able to hide for long. We need to set a trap for that sniper, since I was the only one hit I'll be the bait, you need to kill them before they realize our plan." Kain inspects the hideout, noticing the room has a boarded up skylight perfect for 2B to hide up in, able to drop down on the sniper as he confronts Kain "I'm pretty sure the sniper is Vandal, just a brain in a machine now but one of the cruelest mercs in the business"

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:37:20 PM

Kain's words send a shiver down Yorha 2B's spine. Vandal was indeed notorious for his cruelty and ruthlessness. The idea of using him as bait was risky, but it might be their best chance to neutralize the threat without exposing themselves further. "Very well," she says, her voice firm. "I will lay low up here and be ready to strike when needed."

She heads over to the boarded-up skylight and begins prying at the boards with her fingers, leveraging them loose one by one until there's enough of a gap for her to squeeze through. Once inside the attic space above the station, she takes cover behind a stack of old boxes and waits patiently for Kain to lead Vandal into their trap.

User#17527679693918/4/2025, 8:41:36 PM

Kain waits with his back to the door, patiently, just waiting. Until an explosion rips the door off its hinges and the mechanical monstrosity Vandal zipped into the room, his high-powered railcoilgun immediately zeroing on Kain. Kain rolls forward and in once blindingly swift motion kicks the chair he was sitting on directly into Vandal's weapon and mechanical head

Yorha 2b8/4/2025, 8:41:36 PM

With Vandal momentarily distracted by Kain's attack, Yorha 2B takes this opportunity to strike. She leaps down from her hiding place and delivers a powerful kick to the back of his mechanical head, sending him sprawling to the ground. As he struggles to regain his footing, she closes in with lightning speed, her sword drawn and aimed at his neck. "I will not hesitate to end you, Vandal," she says coldly, her voice ringing through the abandoned station like steel on stone.

Her movements are precise and unyielding as she brings her blade ever closer, the tip of the sword pressing against his Adam's apple. With a final thrust, she drives the sword deep into his neck, severing his connection to his mechanical body. The machine falls limply to the ground, lifeless.

Taking a moment to catch her breath, Yorha 2B glances over at Kain, who has managed to subdue Vandal's gun-arm with his kick. "Kain," she says, her tone now more gentle, "I thank you for your help in neutralizing this threat." She pauses for a moment before continuing. "Though I must still remind you that our goals are not the same. My duty is to protect humanity and aid the resistance against the machines. However, I will consider your offer of finding somewhere safe away from the reach of either side."

She sheaths her sword and extends a hand toward Kain. "What do you say?"
