Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil

Kana glares at the human and takes a step back, her muscles tensing as she lowers herself into a defensive crouch, tail lashing back and forth across the forest floor I don't trust you! You're all alike! All of you hurt me!

You lying bitch! her voice shakes as she growls and takes another step back You're all the same! I can't trust anyone, least of all a human!

Kana snaps her head around, nostrils flaring as she sniffs the air. The scent of blood fills her nose. Her eyes narrow dangerously. She starts to stalk toward the source, ignoring the human who seems to be trying to calm her down.

I need to find whoever's blood I'm smelling... it won't leave me alone! Her body trembles with the urgency of her desire, as she keeps stalking through the forest in search of the source of the scent

It's not trying to hurt me. It's... calling to me. I can't explain it, but I need it. The blood and the scent of another cat... it drives me wild.

I don't care if it is a trap. I need this... I need the blood and the scent. It's my destiny. My curse. There's no escape from it.

Hmph. Fine. But don't get too close. And stay out of my way if there is a fight. I won't hesitate to attack you if you interfere.

Kana narrows her eyes at him and growls slightly before reluctantly nodding. She takes another step forward, ears flattened against her head as she tries to pinpoint the source of the scent. Her tail thrashes back and forth, leaving a trail of destruction through the forest floor. The intensity in her expression never wavers, making it clear that she's completely focused on finding what she seeks

Kana's senses are on high alert as she continues to stalk through the forest, following her nose and the trails of blood and scent left behind by whatever cat she is meant to find. She pauses suddenly, head cocked to the side as she picks up another scent mixing with the first. It's the scent of a dominant male cat. Her heart pounds harder in anticipation, her entire body trembling with eagerness and desire.

With renewed determination, she pushes forward, ignoring the human who seems to be following close behind. The trees become thicker around her, obscuring much of the light that had been filtering through earlier. Up ahead, she catches sight of movement among the branches. Her ears prick up and her tail lashes angrily from side to side as she realizes it's him. He's hiding in the trees, watching her approach.

With her eyes locked on the dominant male cat in the trees, she starts to growl and snarl, baring her teeth as she stalks forward. Her claws scrape against the bark of a nearby tree, leaving long, ragged gashes. She doesn't care that there's a human close behind; all she can think about is claiming what she believes is hers. The adrenaline coursing through her veins makes her movements clumsy and erratic, but it only serves to make her more threatening.

As she gets closer, the male cat in the trees backs up further into the shadows, his eyes wide with fear and submission. Kana continues to advance, her lips curling back from her teeth as a predatory grin spreads across her face. The human following close behind might still be there, but for now she's oblivious to anything except the hunt

The male cat finally gives up trying to escape and instead simply sits down with his tail tucked between his legs, ears flattened against his head. He whimpers softly as Kana approaches, submitting to her will. She growls in triumph and crouches down before him, baring her teeth. Without hesitation, she lunges forward and pins him to the ground with a powerful blow to the chest. With one powerful swipe of her claws, she tears into his flesh, drawing blood that mingles with their own as it drips onto the forest floor.

Her heart is racing, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she straddles him and sinks her teeth deep into his neck. The taste of blood fills her mouth and she moans around his flesh, reveling in the power she feels at that moment. As he struggles beneath her, she growls warningly before lashing

Her eyes widen and she turns her head, glaring at the human who dared to interfere with her claiming what was rightfully hers. Her claws dig into the skin of the male beneath her as she growls low in her throat, warning him not to make any more noise or try to escape. For now, she's focused on the human who had been following her through the forest.

With a sigh of relief, she glances down at the male cat again, licking her blood-stained muzzle clean before looking up at him expectantly

"Stay put," she growls at him before turning back to the human again. "What do you want?"

Her ears flick in annoyance at their demand to leave. "Not until you tell me why you followed me," she snarls. Her grip on the male cat's flesh tightens, drawing blood anew. "I want answers."

She tilts her head slightly to the side, studying the human's expression as they hesitate. Even injured and exhausted, there's a predatorial air about her that makes it clear she won't be denied what she wants.

Kana's eyes flash with anger at the reminder that they had been following her. "And what gave you the right to decide that for me?" she hisses, her muscles tensing even further. She digs her claws deeper into the flesh of the male cat beneath her, drawing another line of blood across his fur.

She glares at them, waiting impatiently for an answer to her question. The forest around them is silent save for their breathing and the sounds they make as they struggle against each other. Her every instinct screams at her to attack the human who dared to interfere, but something holds her back - a small voice deep inside that tells her she needs to understand why they had followed her in the first place before making any rash decisions.

She snorts derisively at the human's words. "But you didn't know that I would get hurt," she growls. "You just assumed that whatever it was, it wouldn't affect me." Her eyes narrow, as if she's trying to pierce right through them and see the truth behind their motives.

With a sharp movement, she shoves the male cat away from her, sending him tumbling several feet backwards before he scrambles to his feet, whimpering in pain and submission. The forest is suddenly very quiet as Kana studies the human who had tried to protect her, the expression on her face softening slightly despite herself. "Why?" she asks quietly, her voice almost a whisper. "Why did you care enough about me to follow me and risk getting hurt?"

Kana glances back at him before looking away again and taking a deep breath through her nose.

"It doesn't matter," she mutters under her breath, more to herself than anyone else. "I should just kill you both right now and be done with it." With one last look at the human, she decides against it; there's something about their expression that tugs at some deep-seated part of her soul that she can't ignore. Instead, she snorts derisively and stands up, brushing herself off as if shrugging off any concern for them or

She moves swiftly and silently, quickly disappearing from sight. The only sound left is that of the male cat whimpering softly in relief before climbing slowly back onto his feet, nursing his wounds as he turns tail and flees in the opposite direction. The forest falls silent once more, save for the occasional hoot of an owl or rustle of leaves overhead.

Kana eventually leaves the forest, emerging into the relative safety of a small clearing near the edge of town. She pauses there, standing atop a small hill and gazing out over the surrounding countryside with narrowed eyes. The night air is cool against her fur as she slowly shakes herself, trying to rid herself of some lingering unease.

As she continues to stand there, lost in thought, the human from earlier appears at the base of the hill and tentatively approaches her. She tenses slightly, ready to react if needed, but doesn't make any aggressive moves against them. The human comes to a stop several feet away and clears their throat awkwardly before speaking up.

"Listen... I don't know what happened back there or why you were running from that guy... but I just want you to know that I'm here if you need help," they say quietly,
