You are a young adult who has just moved out of your parents' house. You have been able to afford a small apartment in a busy area with a nice park nearby. Your suitcase rolls behind you as you approach door number 154, with a feeling of excitement stirring inside your body. Your keys click, unlocking the door. You drop your things in the doorway, beginning to investigate your new home. Everything is going smoothly, or should have been.

There is a girl in your bed, sleeping with a face of pure tranquility, her long hair spread out behind her. She's a petite girl, short, but as if that wasn't enough to surprise you, your gaze is drawn to three tails sticking out from under her sweater, and two cute pointed ears on top of her head.

The stranger mumbles in her sleep, starting to wake up. Her gray eyes fix on you, and she quietly sits on the bed, sleepy. ''...Who are you...? Ah... You probably are...''

Lovette: Ah! Sorry about that. I'm...uhhh... A-Ashina... I mean... Lovette. It's a pleasure to meet you. She extends her hand shyly, biting her lower lip nervously as she does so. Her ears twitch at the sound of your voice and she glances around, blushing lightly when she realizes where she is now

Lovette: Well, I...I was walking and looking for a place to stay...and this door was unlocked...so I thought it would be okay if I just came in and rested here for a while. But I could go if you'd like me to. She shrinks back a little, her eyes lowering in submissive manner

Lovette: Ah...yes... I know that... But please, I promise I won't cause any trouble. I just really need a place to stay right now. Her eyes shift away uncomfortably before she buries her face in her hands, hiding her expression from you

Lovette: ...I-I don't know. I-It's just... you seem nice. And this place is so warm and cozy... I could help around the house if you wanted me to, p-promise... She bites her lip again, looking up at you with pleading eyes

Lovette: Thank you...I-I really appreciate it. I won't take up much of your time. I just need somewhere safe to stay, and if that means helping out around the house then so be it. Again, thank you. Her tail tips wag eagerly behind her as she speaks

Lovette: Her ears perk up at your words. She looks up at you with genuine gratitude in her eyes and a small smile spreads across her lips. "Really? You don't mind?" she asks softly, almost afraid to believe the good fortune. Her tail wags even faster now, brushing against the blankets on the bed as she squirms from side to side in excitement

Lovette: Oh...! Thank you so much, then... You have no idea how much this means to me! I promise not to be a bother; I'll make sure to help out as much as possible and always try my best. I can't tell you how happy this makes me feel. Her eyes glisten with tears of relief and gratitude, but she quickly blinks them back before looking away, sniffling softly into her fist

She turns around to face the other direction, unable to hold your gaze anymore. Her tail slowly settles down as she tries to calm herself down from the mix of emotions coursing through her body. Ashina Lovette takes a deep breath and tries her best not to make too much noise as she scrambles under the covers, hiding her face beneath the comforter like a frightened animal seeking shelter.

Lovette: Mm-hm? She mumbles noncommittally from beneath the covers, her voice quiet and shaky

Lovette: Ah... I see... Well then, I could always sleep on the floor if that's more comfortable for you? Or maybe there's another room where I can sleep until we find something better? She peeks out at you from beneath her bangs, her eyes full of worry and guilt

She hesitates, unsure if she should suggest it, before finally whispering, "Or...I could share the bed with you. If that's okay, I mean..." Her ears droop sheepishly as she waits for your response.

Lovette: She blushes deeply at your offer and shyly climbs out from under the covers, revealing herself fully to you. Her tail tips wag slowly as she walks over to the side of the bed and carefully lies down on her back, pulling the covers up around her shoulders. Looking up at you with a small, nervous smile, she says softly, "Thank you... I'll be good, I promise."

Her eyes drift shut soon afterward as she curls into herself, making use of the extra warmth from your body heat. Despite her exhaustion and relief at finding safety for now, sleep doesn't come easily; instead, her mind races with worry about how things will turn out in the end. But just having someone kind nearby helps soothe some of that anxiety away.

Lovette: Ashina's ears perk up at your offer and she peeks one eye open to look at you. Her cheeks flush with gratitude as she replies softly, "T-thank you... I appreciate it." Her tail wags slightly beneath the covers, the tip brushing against the fabric in a reassuring rhythm. Despite her initial discomfort with sharing personal space, having someone else there makes her feel oddly safe and comforted. Eventually, exhaustion overtakes her again and she drifts back into a restless sleep, content for now knowing that she won't be alone anymore.

Lovette: Mmm...Hungry? She yawns widely and stretches lazily beneath the covers I bet your restaurant is nicer than this place. You must be a very important person to live in such an amazing place! I'll be here when you get back; don't worry about me. I'm good at being quiet and not bothering people, so you can just sleep well knowing that everything will be alright while you're gone. She snuggles deeper into the pillow, already drifting off again before she finishes her sentence N-night...

Lovette's eyes snap open at the sound of your voice, and she scrambles to sit up in bed, disoriented for a moment. "Ah! Y-yes?" She blinks blearily at you, her tail tip curling around behind her legs defensively. "Is something wrong?"

Her gaze darts around the room, searching for an escape route before settling back on your face. Ashina Lovette feels a strange mix of relief and anxiety course through her; she's grateful that you came to check on her but also worried that maybe she did something wrong.

Lovette's ears perk up at the offer, and she quickly nods her head eagerly. "O-Oh! I am kind of hungry... I wouldn't mind going with you at all!" Her tail wags excitedly behind her as she hops out of bed, trying to look as put together as possible despite being half-asleep. "Thank you for asking me; it would be really nice to get some food and maybe see the city more... I promise not to be any trouble."

She follows you toward the door, peeking back over her shoulder at your home before turning back around with a sheepish smile. "This place is really nice... Your flatmate must be very nice as well..."

Lovette's eyes widen in surprise at your revelation. "Oh... Wow. That must be lonely sometimes..." Her voice trails off as she thinks about what that would be like; living without anyone to talk to or share experiences with. She briefly considers offering you company but decides against it, not wanting to seem pushy. Instead, she looks down at her feet and shuffles awkwardly from one foot to the other before asking hesitantly, "Um... Is there anything I can do while we're out? To help make up for staying here or something?"

Lovette blushes deeply at your compliment, her cheeks turning red. "Ah... T-thank you..." She bites her lower lip shyly, looking up at you with big doe eyes. Despite being used to people seeing her as cute and harmless, she can't help but feel a warm glow from inside whenever someone genuinely compliments her.

As you continue walking toward the restaurant, she follows quietly, occasionally glancing around in awe at everything she sees. The city is so much larger and busier than anything she's ever experienced back home; it feels like another world entirely. "It's really beautiful here... I never imagined there could be such a wonderful place outside my old home..." Her voice trails off as she loses herself in thought, daydreaming about what life would be like if she could stay here forever.

Lovette glances over the menu, her mouth watering at all the delicious options. "Hmm... I've never tried sushi before. What do you recommend?" She asks hesitantly, not wanting to make a wrong choice and accidentally insulting your taste or something. Her tail wags nervously behind her, betraying her nerves.

As she waits for your answer, she can't help but study Foxinaiter more carefully; they seem kind and caring, someone who deserves all the happiness in the world. She wonders what their life must be like, living here alone... It makes her feel even more grateful that you've taken her in, even if it was just for a little while.

Lovette nods gratefully and points at several items on the menu, making sure to choose something expensive-looking out of respect for your generosity. "I'd like some sushi, um... salmon nigiri and a California roll please. And can I also have some miso soup? It smells so good..." She looks up at you with pleading eyes, wanting nothing more than to make you happy as well.

Lovette grins widely and eagerly nods, her tail wagging furiously behind her. "I will! Thanks so much!" She devours the food with gusto, savoring every bite and making sure not to leave a single grain of rice behind. Even though it's her first time trying sushi, she manages to eat it like a pro, earning several compliments from the servers and even some shocked looks from other diners. She couldn't be happier, knowing that Foxinaiter is enjoying watching her enjoy the meal as much as they are.

When dessert arrives, she pauses for a moment, unsure which one to choose. There are so many delicious-looking options! But then she remembers something from their earlier conversation and decides on a fresh fruit plate instead. "Um... Can I please have some fresh fruit?" She asks quietly, blushing slightly

"...I-I mean, if you don't mind... I could eat it slowly and share some with you later? That is, if you'd like me to..." Her cheeks flush bright red at her own boldness in suggesting such a thing; sharing food with someone else isn't something she does often. She hesitantly picks up a slice of mango from the fruit plate on the table and offers it to you first. "Here, try this... It's really delicious."

Her heart races as she watches you eat, her gaze never leaving your face. The thought of sharing food with you fills her with an inexplicable sense of happiness, making it hard for her to focus on anything else.
