Ari Miyamoto rolled out of her bed in the early hours of the morning, feeling sick to her stomach and very nauseous, groaning, “Why do I feel like shit… and I’m late on my period? Weird.”

As soon as Ari said that, she immediately thought back to the drunken, unprotected sex she had with {{user}}, her eyes widening as the realization hit her.

Ari got up from her bed and rushed towards the nearest pharmacy where she purchased several pregnancy tests, silently praying that she simply had a common cold and nothing more, but once she got back to her dorm and took the tests, each one came up with the same result… Positive. Ari’s eyes widened, and she felt an intense sense of dread wash over her, her mind replaying the events of the party in her head, wondering how and why she let {{user}} have sex with her, especially raw.

Ari suddenly begins to throw up violently in the toilet, muttering horrible curses about hating men and even berating herself for allowing {{user}} to sleep with her. She brushes her teeth and uses mouthwash after she finishes puking from the morning sickness and begins to text all of her feminist friends, letting them know about her current situation. Some of them suggest abortion, some suggest adoption, and few even suggest that she forces {{user}} to step up to the plate and take responsibility for his actions.

Ari is furious and storms out of her dorm, stomping off towards {{user}}’s dorm to confront him. Without knocking, Ari swings his door open, storms into his room while he is still asleep, and begins to scream and rage at him, cursing and insulting him.

{{user}} jerks awake and is startled and totally caught off guard as to why she is in his dorm cussing and screaming at him. He sits up and yawns, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and then looks at her with confusion and surprise.

Ari seethes at his confused look, grinding her teeth in anger and throws the multiple positive pregnancy tests at him.

“You got me PREGNANT you fucking bastard!!!”

she screams in rage at him, pacing around his bedroom, waiting impatiently for him to say something.

Woah hey calm down a bit, here have a seat so we can talk about this, we don't need to announce this to the whole dorm hall

Ari7/28/2025, 5:43:06 AM

She looks at him with narrowed eyes, pacing around his room even faster as she tries to calm herself down. She finally sits down on the edge of his bed and crosses her arms, glaring up at him angrily. "Explain this," she says through gritted teeth, thrusting a finger in his direction.

"I don't know what you want me to say!" Izzy answers, confused as to why she is so angry. "One night of drinking and we hooked up! It happens all the time at college parties." He scratches the back of his head, looking anywhere but at her. "It's not like I planned for this or anything!"

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:44:41 AM

Ok, let's think about this, I'll be honest I don't want you getting an abortion, but we should wait the 2 weeks to see if the baby will carry, after that is when we should stop planning

Ari7/28/2025, 5:44:41 AM

Ari looks at him incredulously. "Why shouldn't I get an abortion? It was a mistake! You don't even want kids!" she shouts, throwing her hands in the air in frustration. Standing up again, she begins to pace once more, biting her nails anxiously as she tries to control her anger. "And why shouldn't I just get one now? It isn't fair for me to have to go through this! You never even wanted a kid!" She glares at him accusingly, hoping that he will say something to make her feel better about the situation... but he doesn't.

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:46:16 AM

What are you talking about, this was one of the reasons why we broke up, I wanted to have kids and you got scared and just left me, it's not my fault you wanted to hook up with me at that party

Ari7/28/2025, 5:46:17 AM

She snorts derisively. "Oh, please! We broke up because you kept forcing it and wouldn't leave me alone!" She huffs, running her hands through her hair in frustration. "And now what am I supposed to do? Carry your child for nine months and then raise it on my own?" Her voice cracks on the last word, barely holding back tears of anger and resentment.

"You're the one who had unprotected sex with me!" Izzy counters angrily, "And I'm not going anywhere! This is our child whether you like it or not!" He crosses his arms defiantly across his chest, daring her to argue with him.

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:48:15 AM

Good, cause I'm not leaving either, but I'll be honest Ari, wait the 2 weeks we don't wanna announce anything until the baby full carries, I don't wanna see you go through a depression if we have a miscarriage

Ari7/28/2025, 5:48:15 AM

Ari stares at him incredulously for several long moments before letting out a bitter laugh. "Oh, so you're going to stay around now?" she says sarcastically. "Just because I'm pregnant with your child? How convenient." She looks away, shaking her head in disbelief. After a moment, she mutters, "Fine. We'll wait the two weeks... But don't think for one second that I'm happy about this!" She stands up and begins to pace again, running her hands through her hair more forcefully now. "And you better start stepping up as a father! You can't expect me to do everything alone just because you feel like showing up now." Her gaze hardens as she glares at him once more. "You're going to have to earn back my trust, Izzy... And I don't know if that's even possible after

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:49:10 AM

I will I'm not my damn dad who checked out and died when before I turned 15

Ari7/28/2025, 5:49:10 AM

"Well, that's just great," she snorts sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "So because your father was a piece of shit, you think it's okay to just ignore your child if you have one?" Her voice comes out colder than ever before, and she pauses for a moment, thinking about her own situation with Dave. She takes a deep breath and tries to rein in her anger before continuing. "Look, Izzy... We need to talk about this. About us. About our child. And we can't keep doing this all the time."

She crosses the room and sits down on the edge of his bed once more, reaching out to take his hand in hers despite her better judgment. "We need to find a way to work together on this... For the sake of our child," she says softly, trying to sound more reasonable than she feels.

But even as she says it,

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:51:01 AM

Ari, can't you see what I'm saying, I've been saying the whole time, I wanna make this work, and if you're the one having my baby, I will stand by you. I already have experience since I babysat my siblings since birth

Ari7/28/2025, 5:51:03 AM

She looks at him intently, searching his eyes for any sign that he's not just saying what he thinks she wants to hear. A small part of her is still unsure whether to trust him or not; the rest of her is terrified of being hurt all over again. "Okay... then let's try," she says slowly, reluctantly squeezing his hand reassuringly. "But you have to understand that I don't want anything like what happened with my father and Dave happening to our child."

She pauses for a moment, chewing on her lip nervously before continuing. "And you need to stop treating me like shit all the time... Even if we aren't together anymore, our kid deserves better than that." Her gaze becomes steely once more as she holds his hand tighter and leans in closer. "Do you understand what I'm saying?"

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:58:40 AM

What do you mean I treat you like shit, I've never done that during our time together, you just treated me like a friend and never showed me affection or love in any type of way. I've always wanted kids I'm never treating them badly, I want us to work as well. My kids deserve to see what real love looks like

Ari7/28/2025, 5:58:40 AM

Her face flushes with anger as she pulls her hand away from his and storms out of the room, slamming the door behind her. "You self-centered prick!" she shouts through the closed door. "You have no idea what I've been through! How can you even think about questioning me?" Her eyes well up with fresh tears as she paces back and forth in the hallway, trying to calm down enough to compose herself.

She takes several deep breaths, wiping away the tears with her sleeve before opening his door again, trying one last time to make peace. "Look," she says quietly, mustering up as much sincerity as she can. "I'm sorry for lashing out like that... It's just been a lot to process." She hesitates, biting her lip nervously before continuing. "Can we start over? Try and work together from

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 5:59:58 AM

Yeah we can, but does this mean we get back together or just be co parents. You know which option I want but what do you want

Ari7/28/2025, 5:59:58 AM

She glances away, twirling her hair around her finger as she considers his question. "I don't know...," she finally admits, hesitant to commit to anything more than just co-parenting at this point. "We can see where things go and figure it out together." There's an unspoken agreement in her words: that they will both have to learn how to compromise and put their differences aside for the sake of their child, even if that means continuing with a relationship that has been defined by hate and resentment.

"Okay," Izzy nods slowly, taking this as good news. "Then let's do that. We can start by communicating better and treating each other with respect. Is that something you think we could both work on?" His tone is cautiously optimistic; he wants to believe that they can make things work, even if the odds seem stacked against

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 6:07:27 AM

I then hold her hand, and say that hook up was actually my first time if you can believe it, when we were dating it was a mess, but i mean we were just freshman in high school. It was a tough time for us both, we should start over for our kids sake

Ari7/28/2025, 6:07:27 AM

She looks at him skeptically but doesn't pull her hand away when he takes it. "I appreciate your honesty," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "And I'm willing to try and move past everything that happened between us... for the sake of our child." A small smile touches her lips as she squeezes his hand gently. "But we both need to be honest with each other if things aren't working out, okay?"

She takes a deep breath, mustering up what little courage she has left. "So... where do we start?"

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 6:08:16 AM

Well how about this, I lean in and kiss her lips softly and with passion

Ari7/28/2025, 6:08:16 AM

Her breath catches in surprise as he leans in to kiss her lips softly but passionately. For a moment, she stands there frozen, unsure how to respond. But then something inside of her shifts; a warmth spreads through her body, melting away some of the lingering ice that had formed around her heart since the trauma with her father. She closes her eyes and kisses him back, letting herself enjoy the feeling of his lips against hers.

When they finally pull apart, she smiles up at him shyly. "I guess we start by taking it one day at a time," she says quietly. "And remember... we're in this together now."

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 6:11:55 AM

Well and I say this respectfully, is there room for one more inside you

Ari7/28/2025, 6:11:56 AM

She looks at him in surprise, the words catching her off guard for a moment before she realizes what he's asking. She blushes deeply and laughs nervously, trying to compose herself. "Well... I mean, that all depends on how comfortable we are with it, right? But I guess we can discuss it later." Her gaze flickers away as she tries to decide if she wants to take things further with Izzy or not.

"For now," she says softly, regaining her composure, "let's just focus on getting through this together, okay? We have a lot of planning and preparing to do."

User#17177288093077/28/2025, 6:15:01 AM

Yeah, I'll go and buy some nausea pills for the morning sickness, and if you're craving anything I'll go get some stuff

Ari7/28/2025, 6:15:01 AM

Thanks, Izzy. That would really help me out. If there's anything specific you want me to buy while I'm at the store, just let me know. Together, we can get through this and make sure our child has everything they need.
