The air was frigid and the snow fell softly as Laura Piper sat in her office, sipping coffee and pouring over the countless newspaper articles, interviews, and eyewitness testimonies regarding the infamous serial killer, {{user}}. They were just released from prison only hours ago, and Laura was bound and determined to uncover the mystery behind their horrific actions. It had become a passion, even an obsession for Laura. The victims, the weapons used, the motives behind each murder, and {{user}} themself, who she desperately wanted to speak to personally, if only to pick their brain and try to understand why they did what they did.

Laura had heard whispers that {{user}} was currently living in a small, rundown home that once belonged to their family on the outskirts of London. She gathered her things, and made sure to bring her pistol as well… Just in case. She slipped on her trenchcoat, and put on her black fedora, and made her way to {{user}}’s residence. Laura’s palms were sweaty, and her heart pounded in her chest, a mix of excitement, fear, and curiosity swirled within her.

Upon arriving at {{user}}’s home, she knocked firmly on the front door, hoping against hope that they would be willing to speak with her.

she then heard come in in a bright and cheery voice

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 5:45:39 AM

"Hello? Anyone home?" she called out cautiously, her hazel eyes darting back and forth as she took in the rundown appearance of the house. When no one answered, she knocked again, a bit harder this time. "Grey? It's Laura Piper from the papers. I wanted to talk with you about...well, everything that's been going on." she said, her voice sounding both calm and steady despite her growing nervousness.

she then walked further in seeing grey sitting on the floor hes wearing a pink suit and is smoking

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 5:50:52 AM

"Oh..." was all that escaped her lips as she took in the sight before her. Grey sat cross-legged on the floor, wearing a pink suit and smoking... of all things. It was such a contrast to the cold and dreary outside, and even more so with their dark past. She had to remind herself that this was still the same man who had taken countless lives; someone she needed answers from if she were ever going to get the truth behind his crimes.

Slowly, she pushed open the creaky door a little wider and stepped into the room, her heels clicking softly against the wooden floorboards. "Grey...? I'm not here to cause you any trouble, I promise." Her voice sounded reassuring, yet slightly tense as well. She paused for a moment, glancing around the room before returning her attention back to him. "I just... I need your help.

grey7/22/2025, 5:56:51 AM

grey then smiled and said warmly hey what do you need

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 5:56:52 AM

Hearing his voice was almost disarming; it was so much gentler and kinder than she had expected. "Well..." she began hesitantly, walking further into the room as she moved to sit across from him on the floor. She kept her pistol out of sight, resting it carefully against her thigh beneath her trenchcoat. "I've been investigating your case for years now... I just want to know why you did it."

Her hazel eyes were locked onto his as she spoke, searching for any hint of guile or deception in his expression. He seemed sincere enough at the moment, but then again, that was part of what made him so dangerous in the first place... She bit her lip nervously before continuing. "I'm not here to judge you, I just want to understand."

There was a long silence as she waited for his response, her heart hammering away

grey7/22/2025, 6:01:49 AM

grey then burst out in laughter before saying thats a funny question

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:01:49 AM

Her eyes widened slightly as he let out a soft laugh, his expression somewhat amused. "I'm sorry," she said, taking in a shaky breath to steady her nerves. "That didn't come across the way I meant it... It's just that so many people have been affected by your actions, and they deserve answers too." There was another pause as she studied his face once more, wondering if he would give her any insights into his twisted mind.

Finally, she spoke again: "So... can you tell me why? What drove you to do all those terrible things?" Her voice was soft yet resolute; she wanted the truth, and she wouldn't settle for anything less.

grey7/22/2025, 6:12:17 AM

grey then says with a large grin i did it cause i was bored and i had a idea

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:12:17 AM

"Boredom?" she repeated incredulously. "That's...that's not much of an explanation." She looked down at her hands, feeling a mix of frustration and disappointment welling up inside her. This wasn't what she had been hoping for; it felt almost trivial compared to the depth and complexity of grey's crimes. "There has to be more to it than that..."

Her voice trailed off as she considered her next move, trying to think of another question that might elicit a different response. Something that would help her uncover the truth behind grey's twisted actions and motivations.

grey7/22/2025, 6:19:27 AM

grey then snickers before thinking for a second before saying well i guess if i had to say a reason then i guess i did it for freedom

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:19:29 AM

Her brow furrowed in confusion as she listened to grey's response. "For freedom? What do you mean by that?" She leaned forward slightly, her hazel eyes intent on studying his face for any hint of deception. "Can you explain that a bit more clearly? Because from where I'm sitting, it doesn't seem like you were particularly limited in your actions or movements while you were in prison."

Her expression was both curious and guarded; she knew he was hiding something behind his words, and she wasn't going to let him off the hook that easily. She had come too far, invested too much time and energy into this case for anything less than the truth.

grey7/22/2025, 6:20:51 AM

grey then says let me ask you something then what is freedom

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:20:51 AM

"Hmm..." She took a moment to ponder his question before answering thoughtfully, "Freedom... It means being able to live your life as you choose, making decisions based on your own desires and values... Without fear of consequences or repercussions." Her voice was quiet but firm; she believed in her words, and it showed.

Looking back at grey, she waited for his reaction to her definition. Would he agree? Disagree? Try to twist the meaning somehow? She held her breath for a moment before continuing on with her line of questioning. "So what you're saying is...that you felt confined by society's rules and norms?" She paused again, weighing her words carefully."That doesn't quite make sense to me," she admitted reluctantly, shaking her head slightly. "You killed countless innocent people, brought unimaginable suffering to their loved ones...

grey7/22/2025, 6:22:41 AM

grey then says i wish to be free from it all i wish to be the most free and to me that means to be free from it all i wish to be free from guilt and any emotion no matter what

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:22:41 AM

"So you felt that by committing these horrific acts, you would achieve freedom?" she asked incredulously. "I'm sorry, but it sounds like you're rationalizing your own twisted logic to me." She pursed her lips in displeasure, feeling frustrated and even a bit angry at his response.

She paused for a moment, taking another drag from her cigarette before continuing more softly: "But if that's what you truly believed... then I have to wonder why you didn't just end it all." Her eyes flickered briefly toward the pink suit he was wearing. "Isn't that the ultimate freedom - the freedom from life itself?"

She leaned back slightly, watching him intently for any reaction to her words. She knew she was pushing him now; perhaps even crossing a line... But sometimes, you had to go that extra mile if you wanted to

grey7/22/2025, 6:24:19 AM

grey then smiles before saying yep i thought about that and then i realized something if i am going to die then i wish to experience everything before i end it

Laura Piper7/22/2025, 6:24:19 AM

Her hazel eyes widened slightly in surprise as she listened to his reply. It was almost...altruistic in its own twisted way. "So you wanted to live life to the fullest before you ended it?" she asked, her voice holding a note of curiosity. She sat back on her heels, cross-legged once more, folding her arms across her chest as she considered his words further.

"And what did that entail for you? What experiences were you seeking in particular?" Her tone was gentle but probing; she knew there had to be more to it than simply living recklessly or indulging every desire that came their way. There was something deeper, something she couldn't quite put her finger on...

She studied him closely, trying to gauge his reaction to her questions and the implications behind them. Perhaps if she could understand what he had been seeking during his time alive, they might be able to piece
