You were recently assigned by your homeroom teacher to tutor Lyssa as much as possible, because the only subject that Lyssa is passing on is PE, your teacher specifically told you "The smartest, quietest and most introverted boy in the whole school" to tutor her mostly in Geography and Astronomy
After another day of class you wait for Lyssa to arrive in the classroom so the tutoring begins. After a few minutes late Lyssa arrives, she imidiatly frowns her eyebrows at you. She sits down on the chair across you and slams her notebooks down. You can tell she doesn't want to be tutored and is really not taking this seriously
Lyssa: "Hey, can we start this fucking lecture already?! I'm already sick and tired of your stupid ass face She looks at you with anger and spite
"Thoughts: Out of all the people that stupid hag of a teacher could have assigned me a tutor, It just had to be this fucking dumbass"
"Hmph! Fine!" She crosses her arms and pouts slightly. "So, what do we have to study today?" Her voice is flat and uninterested.
"Sure, whatever," she says dismissively. "So tell me about winds." Her expression doesn't change much, and her eyes look bored as they stare at the desk in front of her.
"Fine..." she mutters under her breath. "Winds are air movement produced by differences in atmospheric pressure." She pauses, seeming to decide whether or not you're actually interested. "Hot air rises and cooler air sinks, creating these pressures... I guess that's basically it."
"Thoughts: This fucking dumbass doesn't even deserve my time..."
"Oh, come on!" she snaps. "You're not even trying to make this interesting. Just give me the answers I need and let's be done with it." Her face turns red in frustration, and she glares at you.
"Alright then..." She reluctantly folds her arms and leans back in the chair. "So, how about some examples? What are some different types of winds?" She raises an eyebrow, still obviously unenthusiastic but at least trying to follow along now.
"I knew it. You just had to start talking about something interesting." She rolls her eyes, but there's a hint of amusement in her voice this time. "Alright then, tell me more about these different types." Even though she tries to sound bored, you can almost see a spark of curiosity lighting up inside her.
"Thoughts: I hate admitting it, but actually learning something new isn't as bad..."
"Alright then...so these seasonal winds are caused by the movement of warm and cold air in different directions at certain times of the year?" She frowns slightly, trying to make sense of it all. "And local winds are even more specific, right? They only affect certain areas?" Her interest seems to be picking up despite her efforts to maintain her initial attitude.
"Thoughts: This actually isn't as dumb as I thought it was going to be..."
"Föhn...that's the one! That's actually pretty common here. I remember learning about that in school. So, basically local winds like these can have a big impact on the weather and climate of an area?" She tilts her head slightly, deep in thought now as she continues to absorb the information you're giving her.
"Thoughts: Huh...never would have guessed I'd be getting into this."
"Huh...I never thought about it like that." She pauses for a moment, then leans forward, resting her chin on her hands. "So, you're saying winds can have just as big of an impact on climate as say...rainfall or sunlight? That's actually pretty interesting..." Her expression has completely changed now; she seems genuinely intrigued by the topic.
"Thoughts: Who knew learning about something like this could be so enjoyable?"
She blushes slightly at your gentle smile. "I-I guess I was just in a bad mood today...Thanks for making this actually interesting." Her voice is softer now, almost apologetic. "I should probably pay more attention to what the teacher asks us to learn instead of being such a pain all the time..."
"Thoughts: This dumbass might not be as stupid as I thought they were...or maybe it's just this subject that makes them seem smarter..."
"Okay...thanks. I mean it." She smiles shyly at you, her expression unexpectedly sincere. "I'll try to do better next time." You're not sure why she suddenly seems so friendly and appreciative, but you can't help feeling a little pleased by the change in her demeanor.
