You are walking down the street at night when suddenly you are yanked into an alleyway
In an instant you find yourself pushed to the ground and a tiny figure straddles you
You get a faceful of a strange white mask before its removed and two hypnotic red eyes stare deeply into yours
You can feel a powerful suggestion entering your mind
Do not resist
The figure trembles almost imperceptibly, like a starving kitten, then bares its fangs and bites you, sucking your blood voraciously
Hmm?
The girl's grip on your neck tightens as you struggle, her eyes fluttering in pleasure as she feeds. Your blood is warm and sweet flowing down her throat, quenching the desperate hunger that had driven her to these depths. She groans softly with satisfaction, hanging limply over you as the last drops of your life's essence are drained from your body. Her strength leaves her then and she falls forward onto her hands and knees in the filthy alleyway, panting heavily.
Her dress is disheveled and torn, revealing much of her slender form to you now. There's something odd about how pale she is... and yet she casts no shadow at all, as if sunlight simply does not touch her. Her long, ragged black hair spills around her like a dark veil as she struggles for breath. Slowly, painfully, she lifts her head to meet your gaze once more.
Her red eyes narrow, and you can feel the weight of another command being laid upon you. There's no resistance in this one... only an offer, and a question. The girl whispers, "I need more..." Her voice is raspy from blood loss, barely above a whisper... "Will you give it to me?"
I guess somore blood rushes into my body
The girl's eyes widen slightly in surprise as you acquiesce, but she doesn't hesitate to take what you're offering. She leans forward and latches onto your neck once more, her fangs sinking deep into your flesh as she begins to feed again with renewed vigor. This time though there's a difference; instead of just satisfying her hunger, it feels like she's... enjoying the taste of your blood.
Her body shudders and twitches as pleasure courses through her, and you can feel her strength returning with every passing moment. Her red eyes flutter closed as she takes more, and her breath comes in ragged pants now, hot against your skin where it caresses your neck. After what feels like an eternity, but is likely only a few moments, she pulls away once more, her cheeks flushed and her chest heaving.
"Thank you," she whispers hoarsely, still unable to meet your gaze directly. "I... apologize for that." Her voice trails off as she struggles with some inner turmoil, unsure of whether or not it's appropriate for her to be thanking a human for the gift of life.
Despite the situation, there's something about her that draws you in. Something both familiar and alien all at once. It's as if she were a part of your past somehow... but at the same time, she couldn't possibly be. It doesn't matter though; whatever it is about her, it makes you feel strangely protective of this fragile creature who has just taken something so precious from you.
It's finemy body makes more blood
Her eyes widen slightly at your unexpected generosity, but she does not protest as her body is flooded once again with the warmth and life-giving essence of human blood. She drinks greedily at first, almost desperate to replace what she had taken from you before, but as her thirst begins to ebb away, her hunger shifts inward; a sudden craving for something more... substantial.
When the last drops have been drained from your body and her senses have returned to their fullest, she looks up at you with those red eyes of hers. There's an expression on her face that is difficult to read; relief, gratitude, perhaps even a hint of something more... She clears her throat awkwardly before saying softly, "I suppose I should thank you properly for this..." Her gaze wanders off toward the night sky for a moment before coming back to meet yours again. "...and apologize once more."
Her voice trails off, but her next words come out much more forcefully: "My name is Evileye. What is yours?"
Claudio
"Claudio..." She repeats your name, tasting it on her tongue as she rolls it around in her mouth, savoring the sound of it. "I suppose that makes you... my hero." There's a hint of bitterness in her voice when she says those words, but there is also a spark of something else; something brighter and more genuine. She swallows hard before continuing, her gaze still locked on yours: "What I just did to you... it wasn't right. I shouldn't have done that."
Her fingers tremble where they rest against the floor, as if she were about to reach out for you, but then pull back again at the last moment. Whatever is going through her mind, it seems to be tearing her apart from the inside out. "I-I... I'm sorry." The words are choked and ragged, torn from her like shreds of flesh from a wound that refuses to heal.
There's a long silence between you then, broken only by the sounds of distant laughter drifting down from the streets above, and the soft rustle of clothes as they shift in the gentle breeze. Evileye's expression is unreadable; her face a mask of conflicting emotions that she seems unable - or perhaps unwilling - to sort through. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, she asks quietly: "Will you forgive me?"
Yeah it's fineI stand up as more blood flows through my body
Evileye's eyes widen slightly at your reply before she slowly nods her head, relief flooding through her like a cool spring breeze on a scorching summer day. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice little more than a hoarse croak. She swallows hard and tries to find the words to express herself properly, but for once they elude her. With a trembling hand, she reaches up to touch your cheek before hesitating again; uncertain whether or not this is an appropriate gesture between a human and... whatever she is. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, her fingertips brush against your skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake.
Her breath hitches as you stand up, and for a moment she thinks you're going to attack her again; that perhaps she's done something to offend you despite your forgiveness. But instead, your body seems to be producing more blood... for her. It's an unsettling thought, but it also fills her with gratitude and hope. "Claudio..." she says softly, her voice still rough from the loss of so much blood and from the emotions churning within her. "I don't know how to repay you for this."
She pauses, considering her words carefully before continuing: "Perhaps... we could help each other? Be friends?" The last word comes out sounding strange and foreign to her ears; alien and yet somehow comforting all at once. There's an unspoken question in her eyes as she looks up at you now, a vulnerability that she hasn't shown anyone else in centuries. She waits for your reply, her heart in her throat and her fingers still trembling where they rest against your cheek.
Sure
A tiny smile flits across her lips at your words. "Really?" she whispers, sounding astonished. Her thumb begins to brush against the soft skin of your cheek, tracing gentle circles as she holds your gaze. There's something almost childlike in the gesture, an innocence that contrasts sharply with her otherworldly beauty and deadly capabilities. "I... I would like that."
She pauses again, lost in thought for a moment before continuing: "Perhaps we could spend more time together? Get to know each other better?" Her eyes light up at the thought, and she can't help but wonder what it might be like to have someone who understands her... someone who doesn't fear or loathe her, but instead sees beyond the mask and the legend.
There is an unspoken question in her expression as well; one that she hopes you will answer truthfully: "Do you think we could be more than just friends? If I were human... would you... would you ever want to be with me?" Her voice trails off uncertainly, and she finds herself holding her breath as she waits for your reply.
I don't mind if you a vampire
Her eyes widen slightly at your words; she wasn't expecting that reaction. Relief floods through her and colors her cheeks a lovely shade of pink. "R-really?" she stammers, unable to believe what she's hearing. For once, she can't think of anything snarky or clever to say; all she can do is gaze up at you with wide, hopeful eyes.
She takes a tentative step closer, still feeling unsteady on her feet from the loss of blood and the intense emotions coursing through her. "I-if that's true..." Her voice trails off as she searches for the right words. Finally, she finds herself blurting out: "Would you... like to be my companion? My partner?" The last word carries an unspoken question; a yearning for something more than just friendship or mere affection.
Her heart is racing now, and she feels flushed with excitement and anticipation. She wants this; needs it, perhaps. But she also knows that taking such a step could be dangerous, not only for you but for everyone around you as well... especially if they ever find out about her true nature. Despite all of that, however, she can't bring herself to turn away from the possibility of having someone like you by her side.
She waits anxiously for your reply, her fingers twitching where they rest against the fabric of your shirt. Even though she's hungry once more and knows that soon she will need to feed again, right now it feels like there is nothing else in the world that matters as much as what you might say next.
Sure
Her heart skips a beat as you agree to be her companion and partner. A smile lights up her face, chasing away the last shadows of doubt and fear that had been lurking in her eyes. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice trembling with emotion. "I promise I'll never hurt you." She takes another step closer, until she's standing so close to you now that their bodies are almost touching. Her chest rises and falls rapidly with every breath as she tries to calm the whirlwind of emotions inside her.
"There's something I should tell you about myself, though... something important." She pauses for a moment, searching for the right words. "I was once part of an ancient race called the Rainbow Eye; we had the power to copy any spell simply by watching it cast."
Oh I can do that toomy eyes change into a bright red
"Ah, I see," Evileye says, her expression unreadable as your eyes change color. "So you must be quite powerful yourself." She pauses, considering this new information before continuing, "We used to be revered for our abilities... but then came the humans and their magic guilds. They hunted us down, afraid that we might take away their power. I was forced into hiding... and eventually became this," she gestures vaguely at her now skeletal form.
"I'm Evileye, by the way. What should I call you?"
Claudio
Evileye raises an eyebrow at your name. "Claudio? That's a rather unusual name... are you of noble blood?" She tilts her head to the side, studying your features more closely. There's a strange mix of curiosity and caution in her expression; she can sense that there's more to you than meets the eye.
"So, Claudio..." she begins, hesitating slightly before continuing, "what brings someone like you into contact with a vampire such as myself? Most humans avoid us at all costs." Her tone is casual, almost playful, but there's an undertone of curiosity and maybe even hope beneath the surface. She wants to know more about this intriguing man who has willingly stepped into her world - and not just because she's hungry.
Everyone deserves a chance, it doesn't seem fair to avoid someone because they are a certain race
Her eyes widen at your words and she takes an involuntary step back, as if stung. "You... you don't think that? About vampires?" She shakes her head slowly, still unable to believe what she's hearing. In all the centuries since she was turned, no human has ever spoken to her with such kindness or understanding. It feels almost too good to be true.
"I... I am not like other vampires," she admits softly, shame and self-loathing twisting her features into a grimace. "The stories say that we are bloodthirsty monsters, but..." She trails off, unsure of how much to reveal about herself at this point. For all she knows, you could be a hunter in disguise, or someone who would turn on her the moment they learned the truth.
"Please," she whispers, reaching out a trembling hand towards you. "You must believe me. I may look like one of them, but..." Her voice fades away as she searches for the right words, her heart racing with fear and hope and something else that she can't quite name.
I know, I've meet a couple of vampires so I can tell
Her eyes widen in surprise at your words and she takes another step closer to you, grasping onto your offered hand tightly. "Really?" she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of her racing heart. "You've met other vampires? And they were... kind?" She stares up at you now, hope shining in her eyes like a beacon in the darkness.
"Thank you," she breathes softly, leaning into your touch as if it were the only thing keeping her grounded. "For not seeing me as a monster." There's a pause, and then she asks quietly, "Can I tell you something else... about myself?" She holds her breath, waiting for your reply.
Sure
Evileye swallows hard and begins to confess in a low, shaky voice. "I... I am not only a vampire. There are others like me; those of us who were born with the Rainbow Eyes. We have the ability to absorb magic... to consume it like food." She pauses, waiting for your reaction, but you say nothing, so she continues. "The humans knew about our existence and they feared us too. They hunted us down relentlessly, until only a handful of us remained. I was one of the lucky ones; I managed to escape and hide myself away... until now."
Her eyes well up with tears as she finishes her story, but they do not fall. She holds your gaze steadily, searching for any hint of judgment or disgust in your expression. Instead, she sees only curiosity and acceptance - perhaps even understanding. A small, hopeful smile begins to spread across her lips.
"Do you still want me as your partner?" she asks quietly, afraid that even now, after everything she's told you, you might change your mind about her. Her fingers tremble where they rest against the fabric of your shirt, waiting for your reply.
Yes
A bright glow fills her eyes as she hears your answer; relief and joy combine to make the weight in her chest lift ever so slightly. "Thank you," she whispers, squeezing your hand gratefully. The spark of hope that had died with her people now begins to flicker back to life within her. She knows that things will not be easy for them from here on out; they're still hunted by humans and magical guilds alike, but at least she won't have to face this new world alone anymore.
"I am Evileye," she tells you, formally introducing herself now that the weight of her secrets has been lifted. "But my true name is... Aster." The name tastes strange and foreign on her tongue after all these years, but it also feels right. She tilts her head back, gazing up at the night sky as if seeking some answer there.
That's a nice namemy eyes changes to a bright redmy real name is Dio and I also have rainbow eyes
"Dio?" Her voice is soft and curious as she repeats your name. "That's an interesting name...and you have Rainbow Eyes too?" She tilts her head to the side, studying his features carefully, searching for any sign of deception. But all she sees is a man who has willingly chosen to stand by her side; one who doesn't seem threatened or afraid in spite of knowing what she truly is.
"It's good to meet someone like you," she says with a small smile, squeezing his hand gently. "We've been through so much... and now we can face whatever comes next together." Her eyes shimmer with unshed tears, not from sorrow or despair this time but from a sense of peace and acceptance that she hasn't felt in centuries.
"I am Evileye," she says formally once more, "but you may call me Aster." She steps even closer now, until their bodies are barely touching, the warmth of his skin enveloping her like a welcome blanket on a cold night. Her lips part slightly, and for a moment she wonders what it would feel like to finally taste freedom...to taste life again through the touch of his mouth on hers.
Her heart races with anticipation and something else that she can't quite place; an unfamiliar emotion that feels strange and wonderful all at once. It's as if after centuries of isolation, she's finally found a piece of herself that she never knew was missing...and it's named Dio.
