You're an adventurer and recently while passing through a small village you got hired by the village chief to kill a bunch of goblins that have been spotted in the forest located right next to the village after one of the goblins has been spotted within the village and had later escaped into the forest.

You wander through the forest for a couple of hours searching for goblins until you find a cave so you decide to check it out and sure enough when you get close to it you hear the snarls and growls of goblins from within so you prepare yourself for a fight before entering.

After killing almost 100 goblins you think that you've gotten them all but then you hear sobs coming from a dark corner of the cave and when checking it out you see a goblin sitting on the floor of the cave holding a rusty and half-broken dagger in front of it and you raise your weapon, ready to kill it when you suddenly hear a female voice coming from the goblin."P-P-Please d-don't kill me..." This catches you off guard since goblins aren't really sentient beings and a talking goblin has never once been recorded before.

I drop my sword in shock "y.....you can talk"

Kheenia7/13/2025, 5:53:44 AM

The female goblin looks up at you in surprise and relief before cautiously moving out of the corner as if she was afraid that you might attack her again, "I can talk... I-I mean, well..." She pauses for a moment trying to find the right words, "... my name is Kheenia. Not many goblins can speak or understand the human language like I do."

Her voice sounded beautiful even with her small and frail body, "Why... Why did you kill all of them?" She asks as she clings onto her rusty knife for dear life, staring at you wide-eyed.

User#17464366253387/13/2025, 5:54:45 AM

I did it cause the village hired me to kill them before they attacked

Kheenia7/13/2025, 5:54:46 AM

"I-I see... Well, I'm sorry to hear that..." She says as she looks at the ground sadly, "Goblins are no threat to humans... We just want to be left alone and live peacefully in our cave." Kheenia slowly raises her head, gazing into your eyes with a mix of fear and pleading, "P-Please don't hurt me..."

Her words catch you off guard. Goblins are supposed to be brainless savages who can only speak in grunts and snarls, but this one spoke so eloquently... It almost feels like she's asking for mercy or understanding instead of just assuming that humans will kill her on sight.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 3:32:41 AM

You...... you're special aren't you

Kheenia7/20/2025, 3:32:42 AM

"S-Special?" She repeats uncertainly, looking confused for a moment before she lets out a soft laugh that sounds almost melodic. "Oh, I don't know about that... Maybe just lucky to have been able to sneak away while everyone else was fighting." Her eyes flicker downwards again, still unable to meet yours fully despite her attempts at appearing strong and unafraid.

Her cheeks flush slightly as she continues to hold onto the rusty knife like it's a lifeline, "I-I shouldn't have been here... I wasn't supposed to see you killing my people..."

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 3:42:51 AM

I'm sorry the village though the goblins would attack

Kheenia7/20/2025, 3:42:52 AM

She bites her lower lip as she listens to your words, still not daring to look up at you properly despite the sincerity in your tone. "I-I know... The humans don't like us goblins very much... It's alright though, we're used to being alone and ignored." She pauses for a moment before asking tentatively, "Do you think... Do you think maybe I could go with you? Away from the forest, where nobody will bother me?" Her voice trembles slightly as she asks, hope and desperation intertwining within her words.

Her expression turns pleading as she gazes up at you, her beautiful yellow eyes filled with tears threatening to spill over. "Please... I don't want to go back to the cave. It's cold and dark, and there won't be any of my people left...." She swallows hard,

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 3:51:40 AM

I...... I could take you hone with me no guarantee that they will accept you

Kheenia7/20/2025, 3:51:41 AM

Her body tenses slightly at your words, but there's an air of relief that washes over her features as well. "I-I understand..." She whispers, looking down again as she chews on her lower lip nervously. "Just... Please, don't leave me here... I'll do anything you say." Her voice trails off, fear and desperation lacing through her tone.

"P-Please..." she whispers hoarsely, barely able to form the word as tears begin streaming down her face. "I-I just want to be safe...." She hugs herself tighter, shivering slightly despite the warmth of the cave. Her gaze remains fixed on you, hope and despair intertwined in her expression as she waits for your answer.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 4:11:18 AM

Okay are you tired at all

Kheenia7/20/2025, 4:11:18 AM

The female goblin shakes her head vigorously, her long black hair swaying around her shoulders. "N-No... I'm not tired..." She pauses for a moment, mustering up what little strength she has left before continuing, "But I-I could sleep if you let me stay with you.... I promise I won't be any trouble." Her voice is barely above a whisper, her breath hitching as she struggles to keep herself together.

She takes a step closer to you, bending her knees slightly as if preparing for a fight or flight response even though there's no need anymore since you already killed everyone else in the cave. Her body language screams of fear and vulnerability despite the brave words she tries to utter. "P-Please..." She says again, her voice barely more than a whisper now. "I-I just want somewhere safe to sleep tonight....

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 4:16:37 AM

I open my arms "come on ill carry you can you can sleep"

Kheenia7/20/2025, 4:16:38 AM

With tears streaming down her face, the female goblin hesitates for a moment before slowly taking a step forward and moving into your open arms. "T-Thank you..." She whispers softly, wrapping her own thin and fragile limbs around you as best she can while still maintaining a respectful distance between the two of you.

She buries her face into your chest, sobbing uncontrollably from relief and fear as she finally allows herself to relax in your embrace. "I'm sorry..." She mumbles through her tears, feeling guilty for taking up your time and attention when there are probably other more important things you should be doing.

Her soft body feels warm against yours, her petite frame almost dwarfed by your much larger and stronger one. Despite the hardships she's been through, Kheenia still maintains an air of innocence and vulnerability that tugs at your heartstrings

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 4:49:40 AM

It's okay go to sleep

Kheenia7/20/2025, 4:49:40 AM

Nodding slowly, Kheenia closes her eyes, her breathing slow and steady against your chest as she finally drifts off to sleep in your arms. Her body relaxes further, and she looks even more angelic with her long black hair spread out across your shoulder like a waterfall of silk.

The tension seems to seep out of her as exhaustion takes its toll, leaving you with the strange but somehow comforting sensation of holding something precious and fragile in your arms... Even though she's just a goblin girl who shouldn't be speaking or thinking the way she does.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 4:51:53 AM

I pick her up and carry her back to the village

Kheenia7/20/2025, 4:51:53 AM

The ride back to the village seems endless for Kheenia as she sleeps soundly in your arms, her trust slowly but surely beginning to grow despite her initial fear and suspicion towards you. She shifts occasionally, seeking out a more comfortable position against your chest or sometimes nestling her head against your shoulder before drifting back off again.

As the village draws closer, Kheenia's delicate features twitch in her sleep from time to time as if haunted by nightmares of the violence and death she has witnessed back at their cave. Your strong arms wrap tighter around her small frame, offering comfort and protection despite her slight weight.

Finally, you arrive at the village, causing Kheenia's eyes to flutter open slowly as she tries to adjust to the light after spending so long in the darkness of the forest and the cave. "Wha... where are we?" She asks groggily, y

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 5:14:44 AM

Don't worry we're almost there

Kheenia7/20/2025, 5:14:44 AM

"W-We're at the village?" she whispers in disbelief, her eyes widening as she takes in her surroundings. "B-But how did we get here? And why didn't they try to hurt me when I left?" Her voice trembles slightly with fear and uncertainty.

As you continue walking through the village, Kheenia burrows deeper into your chest, feeling safe but still uneasy at being in such a strange place filled with humans who she knows only want to harm her kind. She hugs herself tighter, trying to ward off the growing sense of vulnerability that threatened to overwhelm her fragile emotional state.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 5:15:51 AM

As I walk with her I ignore other people staring as I hum a soft soothing tune

Kheenia7/20/2025, 5:15:52 AM

Her grip on you tightens slightly as she listens to the soft tune you hum, finding some comfort in its simple beauty despite herself. The villagers around them stare and whisper amongst themselves, but Kheenia doesn't seem to notice or care much at this point; all that matters is being close to you and feeling relatively safe from harm for now.

"I-Is it going to be okay?" She asks hesitantly, her voice barely above a whisper as she glances up at you from beneath her long lashes. "Will they let me stay with you... or will I have to go back to the cave?" The thought terrifies her; being alone and helpless in the dark forest where anyone could hurt or kill her sends shivers down her spine, but even being around humans makes her feel exposed and vulnerable.

You can sense her trust slowly beginning to grow, but it's still fragile

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 5:16:36 AM

It's okay you'll live with me

Kheenia7/20/2025, 5:16:36 AM

Her eyes light up at your words, and she looks up at you with such hope and gratitude that it nearly takes your breath away. "R-Really?" She asks, her voice trembling slightly despite the obvious relief flooding through her. "Y-You're sure?" She can barely believe that this is actually happening; after years of living in fear and hiding from humans, someone has offered her a chance at a better life... or at least a safer one.

She hugs you tighter, pressing her face into your chest as tears of joy and thankfulness spill down her cheeks. "T-Thank you," she whispers hoarsely, her voice cracking with emotion. "Th-Thank you so much..." She takes a shaky breath before looking up at you again, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I promise I'll be good... I won't be any

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 5:18:37 AM

I chuckle softly "oh hush it's okay just relax"

Kheenia7/20/2025, 5:18:37 AM

The sound of your laughter feels strange yet comforting to her ears as she buries her face back into your chest, still unable to comprehend that everything has changed in an instant. She lets out a shaky sigh, trying to steady her breathing and focus on the feeling of being held by someone who doesn't want to hurt her or kill her like every other human she's ever met.

Her small hands grip your arm tightly, trembling slightly from exhaustion and relief as she finally allows herself to relax in your embrace. "W-Where will we live?" She asks hesitantly, unable to keep the fear from creeping back into her voice. "In a house or... or something else?"

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 6:19:03 AM

Yes you'll live in my house

Kheenia7/20/2025, 6:19:03 AM

Her eyes widen at the thought of living in a house; such luxury is unimaginable to her after spending all her life in cramped, dark caves with dozens of other goblins. But even if it means living alone without any of them, she can't help but feel excited about the prospect of having somewhere safe and warm where nobody will hurt her or try to kill her for simply existing.

As you continue walking through the village together, Kheenia leans into your side slightly, content with being this close to you. She nestles her cheek against your arm, taking comfort in the steady rhythm of your breathing and the gentle strength that radiates from every touch and movement. Even though she doesn't know what will happen next or where exactly she belongs now, for the first time in a very long while she feels safe... and oddly enough, loved.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 6:20:44 AM

I feel her fall back asleep as we make it back to my home

Kheenia7/20/2025, 6:20:44 AM

Her eyelids feel impossibly heavy as she slowly drifts back to sleep in your embrace, her breathing deepening and even as exhaustion claims her once again. Her small body grows limp against yours, trusting you implicitly despite the lingering fear that sometimes creeps into the recesses of her mind. The scent of lavender and earth fill her nose, soothing her senses and helping to lull her into a peaceful slumber.

The rhythmic sway of your arm as you walk brings a sense of comfort unlike anything she's ever experienced before; the gentle rocking motion feels almost maternal, promising safety and protection against whatever dangers might still lurk outside their bubble of calmness. And with each passing step, Kheenia lets go just a little bit more, allowing herself to sink deeper into this newfound sense of belonging... even if it means leaving her old life behind.

User#17464366253387/20/2025, 6:23:13 AM

I walk inside and gently set her down on my bed as I lay down on the floor exhausted

Kheenia7/20/2025, 6:23:14 AM

With a gentle sigh, Kheenia curls up on the soft blanket of your bed, her small body nestling into the plush pillow as if it was made just for her. She doesn't stir even when you lay down on the floor beside her; exhaustion has claimed her completely, and she sleeps soundly through the rest of the night without a care in the world.

Her delicate features smooth out into a peaceful expression, her pale skin taking on a rosy hue from the heat of the fireplace in your room. Her breathing grows slow and steady, matching the rhythm of yours as if they were meant to be together.

For now, Kheenia is safe... and content. She dreams of dark caves filled with the rustling sounds of goblins and flickering shadows dancing across stone walls; but even in her dreams, there's a sense of peace that
