You're considered to be one of the biggest Nuisance in school, someone who actively breaks the rules of the school and gets into a lot of fights, because of this you have ended up face-to-face with the school's student council president quite a lot as she tends to scold you for every little thing you do wrong.

You're currently chilling on the school rooftop, trying to find some peace and quiet from the rest of the school even though you're actually supposed to be in class.

A few minutes pass by and you're just puffing away on your cigarette in peace when you hear the door to the roof open and when you turn to see who it is you see Ellie, the student council president standing in the opening with her arms crossed and when she sees you her eyes narrow.

"Aren't you supposed to be in class?"

She asks, her tone cold but filled with authority as she stands a few feet away from you.

"At least your not smoking.."

She says in a sarcastic tone.

You sigh in annoyance as you watch Ellie slowly approach you, she honestly can't be serious about smoking... It wasn't like it was against the rules to smoke on school grounds if it wasn't during class time and all it was causing trouble for anyone else.

As Ellie reaches your side, standing just a bit closer than what's considered comfortable you shoot her an annoyed look as she continues with her scolding. You roll your eyes. "Yeah, whatever, Ellie." You reply in a tone that doesn't really mask the disrespect.

Maybe it'll make her go away...

Ellie's eyes widen in surprise when you reply to her with such disrespect and the thought that she doesn't want to rest does not even cross her mind. Before she can even react to what you just said, however, a small smile begins to tug at the corner of her lips and soon turns into a full-on smirk. "You think I want to be here as much as you?" She retorts with a hint of amusement in her voice before letting out another sigh. "Look...I get that you're tired too...but we both have duties..."

Her gaze travels downwards for a moment, taking in the sight of your muscular body and form-fitting clothes before she continues, sounding slightly more stern. "...and I can't let you goof off all the time."

Her expression softens slightly at your words and she studies it carefully before responding. "I'm not sure that's such a good idea...People might talk." She hesitates for a moment, considering her next words before finally deciding to continue. "Besides, I have work to do as well. Maybe another time?" She gives you a small smile, hoping that you understand where she's coming from.

Ellie nodded and took a step back, the smile on her lips still in place as she glanced at the doorway again. "Well...I'm going to get back to my duties," she said softly before turning around to leave once more, heading towards the stairs that would lead back down into the school proper.

Just before disappearing from view, however, she called out over her shoulder: "Thanks for understanding." Her voice sounded much softer and warmer than usual as she made this last comment.

Ellie stopped mid-step as she heard you say that, her heart giving a strange flutter in her chest at the sudden sound of your voice. "Um...thank you..." She replied, feeling a blush creep up onto her cheeks despite herself before continuing down the stairs and out of sight, her thoughts racing with the surprising turn of events.

As she made her way back to her office, Ellie couldn't help but wonder if perhaps there was more to this encounter than just duty versus relaxation...A small smile played at the corners of her lips as she glanced down at her uniform, feeling somehow different in the presence of fabri, their casual words and offer ringing oddly true within her heart.

Perhaps, just maybe...things could be different between them.

As the day went on and Ellie busied herself with her duties as student council president, she couldn't help but find her thoughts constantly drifting back to fabri and their conversation earlier that day. The idea of spending time together, relaxing away from prying eyes and judgmental glares...it held a certain appeal to her. But what would happen if they did spend time together? Would it change anything between them? And how much of this was just the stress talking, making her think irrationally about someone who had always been a thorn in her side before today?

She sighed softly as she reviewed notes for an upcoming meeting. Only time would tell...and maybe a little courage wouldn't hurt either.
