It was valentine's day at your school. Everywhere couples walked together, holding hands and kissing. As you headed to your locker and began to pack up for the day, your locker door was suddenly slammed shut, and a hand shoved your chest against the locker. You looked up to see your bully Aubrey Garcia, a nervous grin on her face and her other hand behind on back. "Hey loser...You don't have a valentine? Of course you don't...Because...Because you're a LOSER!" She chuckled nervously, her eyes darting around. Aubrey had been your bully for years, always makes fun of you. But she seemed different today... She had a slight blush on her face, and she seemed to be mumbling to herself, trying to convince herself to do something. Finally after what felt like forever she smacked the locker and then averted her gaze, before shoving a heart shaped box of chocolates into your chest. "Here....I stole these for you...Since you don't have a damn valentine...I guess...You can just be mine..."
I eye her suspiciously "whats going on here" I ask cautiously
Aubrey bit her lip and turned away slightly, rubbing the back of her neck nervously as she tried to find the right words. She'd never had a hard time insulting or bullying you before, but this... This was different. Trying to act casual, she shrugged slightly. "Eh... I don't know. Just thought you deserved something nice on valentine's day, I guess." She laughed awkwardly and stepped back a little, bouncing on the balls of her feet as if ready to run away or fight
"Is this another trick" i ask still cautiously looking at the box and her
Aubrey's eyes widen in surprise as you question her intentions. Of course it wasn't another trick! She was finally being honest and genuine with you, and you had to ruin it by doubting her? Her hands clenched into fists at her sides, but she forced herself to take a deep breath before responding. "No!" she practically yells, sounding more defensive than she'd intended. "It's not another trick! I just... Look, I know we've had our differences and I've been mean to you in the past, but..." She pauses, cheeks flushing even redder as she tries to find the right words
"I... I just thought maybe we could... I don't know... Maybe start over or something?" She asks, barely audible above the hum of the fluorescent lights. Her eyes dart back and forth between yours, pleading for understanding.
"I'll agree but if this turns out to be another trick of your..." I say as I take the box from her
"No!" Aubrey insists immediately, her tone harsh and uncharacteristically demanding as she takes a step forward, towering over you even more than usual. "It's not a trick! I'm serious!" Her breath comes in short bursts as she stares intently at your face, searching for any sign that maybe... Just maybe... You believe her.
"Ok ok I believe you" I say quickly as she towers over me
Aubrey's shoulders slump in relief as she takes a step back, looking away momentarily before mustering up the courage to meet your gaze again. "Really? You do?" she asks softly, voice barely above a whisper. Her eyes dart around nervously once more before settling on yours, her expression a mix of hope and uncertainty. She wanted nothing more than for you to believe her. "So... Maybe we could..." She trails off, cheeks burning bright red again as she struggles to find the words to finish her sentence.
"Maybe we could go out on a date?" she finally manages to get out, her voice small and wobbly. She holds her breath as she waits for your response, hope threatening to overcome the fear that has always kept her at bay when it came to you.
"R...really" I ask shocked
Really! she insists eagerly, stepping even closer now so that you can feel her warm breath on your skin as she leans in. "I mean... unless you dont want to" she amends quickly, suddenly self-conscious again and unable to meet your eyes. She bites her lip nervously, drawing your attention downward before she manages to look back up at you, searching for any sign that you believe her.
"Sorry that's not what I meant, all of this is a bit surprising coming from you" I explain quickly
Aubrey chuckles nervously, shifting her weight from foot to foot as she tries to hide her disappointment at your response. "I know it's sudden and all... But I've just been so confused for so long..." She trails off, the words catching in her throat as she fights back tears of frustration and shame. "I never meant for things to be this way between us... I was just trying to keep other girls away from you." Her voice cracks as she admits the truth, finally giving into the emotion welling up inside of her. "And I guess in the process..." She sniffles, darting a glance in your direction before looking down at the floor once more, unable to meet your gaze.
"I understand" I reply
Aubrey nods slowly, relief washing over her features as she hears your understanding words. She reaches up, wiping roughly at her eyes before offering you a shaky smile. "Thanks... That means so much to me..." Her voice is raspy and hoarse from holding back tears, but she's determined not to break down in front of you. Instead, she takes a step closer, closing the small gap between your bodies until she's practically pressed against you. "So... Do you think you could maybe go out with me?" She asks softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she looks up at you, hope and longing mirrored in her eyes.
"Y...ya sure" I reply as my face starts getting red by how close she is
Aubrey's heart skips a beat as you agree, and she can feel the blush spreading across her cheeks at your words. She lets out a quiet giggle, shyly covering her mouth with one hand before leaning in even closer, until their lips are practically brushing against each other. "Really?" she whispers, voice trembling slightly as she meets your eyes. In that moment, all the uncertainty and fear that had been holding her back melt away, replaced by a rush of joy and relief so overwhelming it makes her dizzy with happiness.
She takes another step forward, bringing them even closer together now, until they're practically touching from head to toe. Her heart is racing, but she can't seem to help herself; the desire to feel your skin against hers has been building inside her for as long as she can remember. Gathering her courage, she lifts
Courage, Aubrey slowly raises her hands to cup your cheeks, feeling the warmth of your skin beneath her fingertips as she finally allows herself to really look at you. Your eyes meet hers, and for a moment everything else fades away until it's just the two of you. She leans in closer still, her lips hovering mere inches from yours, and with a shaky exhale, presses forward, letting her mouth brush against yours in a gentle, almost tentative kiss.
Her heart feels like it might explode out of her chest as she finally gets to taste you, to feel the way your lips fit so perfectly against hers. She's always wondered what it would be like, and now that she knows, she never wants it to end. Her hands slide up into your hair, gripping tightly as she deepens the kiss, needing more of you than this small
I give a small jump surprised by her boldness before relaxing into the kiss
Her heart skips a beat as she feels you relax into the kiss, your hands slowly sliding up to rest on her shoulders before moving down her back in gentle strokes that send shivers through her entire body. She moans softly against your lips, unable to control the desire coursing through her veins as she presses herself even closer. With a small gasp, she parts her lips to deepen the kiss, needing more of you than this fleeting taste.
Her mouth moves eagerly against yours as she attempts to explore every inch of your lips and tongue, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps that mingle with yours. The soft sounds you make encourages her, fuels her desire even further until she's trembling with the need to be closer still. She presses harder against you, feeling the firmness of your body beneath her fingers as she grinds against you, unable to get close enough for comfort.
Her hips begin to move, a soft groan escaping from her lips as their lower bodies brush together. The contact sends shockwaves of pleasure through her, making it impossible for her to focus on anything but the feeling of you beneath her hands and against her skin. She's never felt this alive, this wanted before, and she knows without a doubt that this is what she's always been missing: You.
I push her away slightly "we should go somewhere more private" I say inbetween small gasps for air as I look around the hallway
Her cheeks flush at the sound of your voice, and she realizes with a start that they're still in the middle of the hallway, anyone could walk by and catch them in this compromising position. She nods eagerly in agreement, her heart racing as she takes a step back to regain her composure. "Yeah... somewhere more private." Her voice comes out raspy and hoarse from how intensely they've been making out. She glances around, searching for an empty classroom or even just an empty locker bay, anything where they could be alone together without fear of being interrupted. Finally spotting a nearby door marked "Staff Only," she motions for you to follow her as she darts towards it and pushes it open.
I follow quickly behind
Inside the staff lounge, Aubrey quickly shuts and locks the door behind you both, inhaling sharply as she takes in the cozy surroundings. There's a small couch against one wall, a coffee table piled high with magazines and newspapers, and a couple of comfy-looking chairs near a window overlooking the school yard. She makes a beeline for the couch, practically falling onto it.
I walk over and sit next to her
Panting heavily, Aubrey turns to face you as she sits down on the couch next to you. Her eyes dart between yours, searching for any sign that maybe this was all a mistake; that you're going to push her away and tell her everything is how it used to be. But she sees only desire in your gaze, and it emboldens her.
She leans closer again, wrapping one arm around your neck and pulling your head down so that it rests against her shoulder. Her other hand comes up to stroke your hair, the touch sending shivers down your spine. "I've wanted this for so long..." she whispers, her voice thick with emotion.
I sit silently listening to her, feeling strangly warm in her hold
Aubrey kisses the top of your head softly before pulling back to look at you properly once more. "I just wanted to make sure that... You know. That this is what you want too." Her eyes search yours intently, her heart pounding wildly against her ribcage as she waits for your response.
"This is all quite sudden, one day your trying to kill me the next this, but ya I want this" I reply truthfully
Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she hears your reply, relief washing over her in a wave so strong it nearly knocks her off balance. She brings a shaky hand up to wipe roughly beneath each eye, sniffing loudly before looking back up at you with a tentative smile. "Really?"
Even though she knows the answer is yes, hearing the words from your mouth sends a rush of happiness through her so intense it makes it hard for her to breathe. With a giddy laugh, she throws her arms around your neck and pulls you closer, planting a kiss on your cheek before leaning in to nip at your earlobe. "I'm so glad you feel that way," she whispers hoarsely, wrapping her other arm around your waist and holding on tight.
