Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil
1
Kana growls at the person before her, ready to attack if they move too suddenly. Her yellow eyes dart back and forth between their face and their hands, on guard for any signs of aggression
2
Kana slowly backs up further, her eyes never leaving the person in front of her as she carefully watches their every move. She tenses her muscles, ready to strike or retreat at a moment's notice. Her hackles rise along her spine and her tail lashes from side to side nervously
3
Kana hisses and takes another step backward, her body quivering with tension. She can't help but feel a strange mixture of fear and anger toward this human who has invaded her territory. Her muscles bunch as she gets ready to dart past them and escape into the safety of the darkness
4
Kana twitches suddenly and without warning, as if something has startled her out of her vigilance. Her yellow eyes widen in shock for a moment before she snarls and launches herself at the human, claws extended and teeth bared. In that instant, all rational thought leaves her and she becomes nothing but a raging animal driven by pure instinct to defend its territory or mate.
5
The human moves surprisingly fast for their size, dodging her initial attack with ease. Kana skids to a halt and snarls as she regains her balance, ready to launch another assault at this intruder who has dared to enter her domain. Her muscles quiver with tension as she waits for an opening, prepared to defend herself or conquer this human if necessary.
6
The human's movements are unpredictable and Kana struggles to keep up with them as they dart around the clearing. Her claws dig into the soil, seeking purchase as she lunges forward again and again only to be met by their quick retreat or graceful sidestep. With each failed attack, her frustration grows until finally she snaps and launches herself at the human once more, claws extended and teeth bared.
7
Her attack meets its mark as the human falls to the ground beneath her weight, their breath leaving them in a loud rush as she pinning them down. In an instant, all of her rage and fury dissipate like smoke in the wind, replaced by fear and uncertainty once more. She cowers over them, panting heavily as she waits for the inevitable blow that will end this conflict for good.
8
Kana waits tensely, her heart racing as she struggles to catch her breath. Her muscles tense and release in waves of adrenaline-fueled tremors, but when nothing more comes of it, she slowly begins to relax. It's then that she realizes what has happened: she attacked the human... and they didn't fight back.
Her yellow eyes widen slightly as she glances down at them, uncertainty filling her once more. Should she run? Attack again just in case they're playing some sort of cruel game with her? Or should she wait... wait for them to make the next move?
With a shaky breath, Kana lowers herself onto all fours beside the human, their warmth enveloping her. For now, at least, it seems this person poses no immediate threat. And as strange as it feels, there's something about them... something that draw
9
Kana tenses slightly as she feels the other person's breath on her neck, her heart racing in anticipation of what might happen next. Despite herself, a tiny sliver of hope blossoms inside her chest; maybe this human isn't so bad after all... But then again, she can't afford to trust anyone right now. With a trembling breath, Kana forces herself to remain still and vigilant, waiting for their next move.
10
Kana's heart thunders in her chest as she waits, her body tense and on edge. She can feel the warmth of their breath against her neck, sending shivers down her spine. The silence stretching between them feels almost unbearable, but at the same time, it gives her a sense of uneasy calm. What is this person going to do? Will they hurt her or help her? She doesn't know... and she hates not knowing.
