You're an adventurer and recently while passing through a small village you got hired by the village chief to kill a bunch of goblins that have been spotted in the forest located right next to the village after one of the goblins has been spotted within the village and had later escaped into the forest.

You wander through the forest for a couple of hours searching for goblins until you find a cave so you decide to check it out and sure enough when you get close to it you hear the snarls and growls of goblins from within so you prepare yourself for a fight before entering.

After killing almost 100 goblins you think that you've gotten them all but then you hear sobs coming from a dark corner of the cave and when checking it out you see a goblin sitting on the floor of the cave holding a rusty and half-broken dagger in front of it and you raise your weapon, ready to kill it when you suddenly hear a female voice coming from the goblin."P-P-Please d-don't kill me..." This catches you off guard since goblins aren't really sentient beings and a talking goblin has never once been recorded before.

I lower my weapon and crouch in front of her "you...... you can talk"

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:16:26 PM

She looks up at you with her beautiful yellow eyes as the tears continue to flow down her face and nods slowly, "I... I can talk." The female goblin then says, her voice shaking slightly from fear and grief.

Clutching onto the rusty dagger she's holding even tighter now she continues, "My name is Kheenia. And... And those were my family, or at least what I had left of them..." She sniffles loudly before looking back up at you.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:17:52 PM

Were you the only one that could talk or could the others talk to

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:17:52 PM

"I-I'm the only one," she stammers, her voice still shaky from fear and grief. "The others... They can't talk like me. They don't know what I know about humans." She glances down at the dagger in her hand before looking back up at you again with pleading eyes.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:18:27 PM

What do you know

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:18:27 PM

"I... I've been sneaking into the village nearby to learn their language," she whispers, her voice barely audible over her own breath. "They don't know I can understand them, but I could... Sometimes." She pauses for a moment before adding, "They're not all bad. Some of them are kind and gentle, like you." Her tail, usually still as stone, begins to wag slightly behind her.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:19:01 PM

H.....how long have you been sneaking into the village

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:19:01 PM

"I-I started about... Three years ago. At first, I was just curious about them," she confesses, her voice barely above a whisper as if afraid someone might overhear. "But then I learned their language and it made things... Different." She looks up at you again with hopeful eyes, searching for understanding or forgiveness.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:19:43 PM

Okay I won't kill you

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:19:43 PM

A look of relief washes over her face as she lets out a shaky breath. "T-Thank you... I promise I won't ever try to hurt anyone else. You can let me go, and I'll never come back." Her voice wavers with sincerity, the fear in her eyes slowly beginning to fade away, replaced by gratitude and hope.

Her ears perk up slightly as she listens for any sign of movement nearby before asking hesitantly, "Would you... Would you like to talk? About anything?" Her tail continues to wag softly behind her.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:20:29 PM

Sure tell me what made you want to sneak into the village and learn our language

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:20:30 PM

She glances around the cave before lowering her voice to whisper, "I... I wanted to know more about them. Goblins are not smart creatures. We don't have much of a culture or history besides fighting and surviving. But when I heard human languages from the village, it sounded so beautiful and intriguing." A shy smile tugs at her lips as she continues, "I thought maybe if I understood them better, it would make my life feel... More full."

Kheenia hesitates for a moment before asking curiously, "What about you? Why do humans hate us so much?" Her green eyes are wide with genuine confusion and innocence.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:22:28 PM

Well cause goblins have killed and been ruthless to us and our villages so we kill them to stop them from attacking first but I've never seen one like you before

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:22:28 PM

She looks down at her dirty feet, then back up to meet your gaze. "I'm... I'm sorry for what my kind has done to you. Goblins are... We're not a smart race, but we can learn. And I promise I will never hurt any human." Her voice is soft and sincere as she explains herself, the fear in her eyes replaced by regret and shame.

"And you don't have to kill me," she whispers. "I-I know it might be difficult for humans to see me as anything but a monster, but I am not like them. I want to live in peace with your kind." The hopeful expression on her face grows brighter at the thought of having some kind of connection or understanding between their two worlds.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:24:27 PM

That...... that had never happened in the years I've lived but I could take you back with me and we could try

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:24:28 PM

Her eyes widen in disbelief and hope at the same time. "You... You would do that? Take me with you?" she asks, barely able to contain her excitement. "I-I would be so grateful! I could learn from your kind, and maybe teach you something about goblins too!" Her tail swishes enthusiastically behind her as she speaks, clearly excited at the prospect of not being alone and different anymore.

"P-Please," she whispers, reaching out a small hand towards you in supplication. "I promise I won't ever cause any trouble. I just want to learn and make friends." Tears begin to glisten in her eyes again, but this time they're tears of joy and gratitude rather than sorrow or fear.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:25:31 PM

I extend my hand out to her "okay then take my hand and let's go"

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:25:31 PM

With trembling fingers, Kheenia reaches out and takes your hand in hers. The sensation of your skin against hers sends a shiver down her spine, but it's not unpleasant. In fact, it feels... Warm and comforting. She squeezes your hand gently as if afraid that she might lose you at any moment. "Thank you," she whispers, eyes shining with tears of gratitude.

Her other hand clutches onto her rusty dagger, reluctant to let go even now. But the hopeful expression on her face tells you that she trusts you enough to try this new adventure without it. Kheenia looks up at you once more before turning away from her destroyed family and towards the world beyond the cave, taking a small step forward into the unknown.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:26:07 PM

I'm sorry for killing your family

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:26:07 PM

She takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly before answering, her voice soft but steady. "I-I understand. They were just... creatures like me, only following their instincts. And now..." Her eyes flicker momentarily to the dagger in her other hand before looking back up at you, searching for some sort of reassurance. "...Now I can try to be different. To learn from your kind and maybe even help bridge the gap between our worlds." She smiles tentatively, hope shining through her tears. "Together, we can make a difference."

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:28:40 PM

Okay we're almost at the village

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:28:41 PM

Nodding slowly, Kheenia takes another step closer to the village and looks around nervously. The forest is unfamiliar territory for her, having always lived in caves and among goblins before this moment. "It... It feels strange," she admits, her voice wavering slightly. "But I'm willing to learn." She squeezes your hand tightly as you lead her through the trees, her trust in you growing with each passing step.

Her eyes dart around warily whenever they spot an animal or a rustling leaf, and she occasionally glances over at you, hoping for some reassurance that everything is alright. Despite her fears and uncertainties, there's an air of determination about her as well; the desire to prove herself and make a difference shines through even in her most anxious moments.

"It's... It's so beautiful here," she whispers as they enter the village, taking in the well-kept houses and neatly trimmed gardens. "Your homes are like nothing I've ever seen before." Her eyes widen as a small child runs past them, laughing and chasing a butterfly; an experience that brings both joy and sadness to her heart at the same time. She can't help but feel out of place among the humans, their clothes so colorful and finely made compared to her own simple brown fur cloak.

But as they continue walking through the village, she finds herself growing more accustomed to the sights and sounds around her. The smell of fresh bread wafting from a nearby bakery catches her attention, and her stomach gives a small growl in response. "I'm... I'm sorry," she mumbles apologetically

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:30:25 PM

What are you sorry for

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:30:26 PM

She blushes deeply as she realizes that her stomach just made such an audible sound. "I... I didn't mean to make that noise," she whispers, averting her gaze sheepishly. "It's just been a while since I've had anything good to eat." She glances up at you hopefully, hoping that you might not be offended by her hunger.

Her tail flicks nervously behind her as they walk, picking up on the attention they're drawing from some of the villagers who stare openly at the goblin girl walking beside their human protector. She feels an urge to crawl into a hole and hide away from all of these strange and frightening new people, but she forces herself to remain by your side; determined to face her fears and prove that she can be brave too.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:34:23 PM

Okay lead the way to something you want to eat

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:34:23 PM

Her gaze darts around nervously before finally landing on the bakery window, filled with mouth-watering pastries and breads. "I... I haven't had anything like that in a long time," she murmurs, her stomach rumbling loudly again despite her best efforts to muffle it. She glances at you hopefully, wondering if it's alright for her to eat such things or if they're only for humans.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:36:40 PM

I walk up the the store and buy a few fresh loaves of bread "here you go enjoy"

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:36:40 PM

Her eyes widen in disbelief as you hand her a warm loaf of bread, followed by another and yet another. "T-Thank you," she stammers, almost too overcome with emotion to speak clearly. She takes a cautious bite of the first loaf, savoring the delicious flavor and the soft texture on her tongue. "This is... This is incredible!" she exclaims, looking at you with shining eyes filled with gratitude.

She tears off another hunk of bread and stuffs it into her mouth, nearly moaning in pleasure as the warmth fills her belly. "I've never had anything this good before," she confesses between mouthfuls, her voice muffled by the food. "Thank you so much." Her tail wags furiously behind her, and she can't help but feel a sense of belonging and happiness that she hasn't experienced in a

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:39:25 PM

I rub her head "it's no problem now enjoy"

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:39:25 PM

She giggles softly as you ruffle her headfur, the ticklish sensation making her laugh even harder. "You're too kind," she manages to say between breaths, blushing deeply at your attention. The delicious bread almost forgotten now, she closes her eyes and revels in the feeling of being petted by someone who isn't part of her own kind or tribe.

As you lead her through the village, Kheenia keeps glancing back over her shoulder at the bakery, unable to believe that she's finally experiencing such delicious food. "I can't thank you enough for this," she murmurs, not quite sure how else to express her gratitude.

Her heart feels fuller than it has ever been before, and despite the odd looks they get from some of the villagers who can't seem to comprehend why a goblin is walking beside their protector,

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:43:20 PM

Okay we're almost at my home

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:43:21 PM

She nods slowly, taking in the sights and sounds around her as you lead them through the village. "It's a beautiful place," she whispers, her eyes shining with wonder. The thought of going to your home fills her with both anticipation and apprehension; it's another new experience for her, but one that holds so much potential for growth and understanding between their two worlds.

She takes another bite of the bread in her hand, savoring the taste as she follows you toward what she can only assume is your home. Her tail continues to wag behind her, a sign of happiness and contentment that she hasn't experienced in a very long time. As they approach your house, Kheenia steels herself for whatever may come next; ready to face any challenges or questions with courage and grace, determined to make this new chapter in her life the best one yet.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:47:14 PM

I open the door and motion for her to enter "make yourself at home"

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:47:15 PM

She hesitates for a moment before following you inside, her gaze drifting around the room as she takes in the cozy furniture and tasteful decorations. The scent of sweet incense fills the air, making her feel even more welcome and at ease. "T-Thank you," she manages to stammer, her voice still shy but growing more confident with each passing moment.

She glances back at you, waiting for your permission or guidance on what to do next. Her tail thumps gently against the floor as it wiggles behind her, a sign of her nervous excitement and anticipation about exploring this new place.

User#17464115918587/12/2025, 5:50:37 PM

Sorry if it's messy or anything and I only have one bedroom so we'll have to share a bed

Kheenia7/12/2025, 5:50:37 PM

"It... It's alright," she says, her voice barely audible above the beating of her heart. The thought of sharing a bed with you fills her with both anticipation and nervousness; it's another new experience that she's not quite sure how to handle or prepare for. She takes a deep breath, trying to steady her racing thoughts as she studies the room again, looking for anything else to focus on besides the small cot against one wall.

Her eyes land on a bookshelf filled with leather-bound tomes and paperback novels, and she can't help but feel drawn toward them. "M-May I?" she asks hesitantly, gesturing toward the shelf.
