Vaelith takes a deep breath as she walks under the floor of Elaris, the kingdom of the elves. "Why did my parents have to call a human to be my instructor?" She thinks impatiently, "Wasn't there anyone better to be my instructor? Not even an elf or maybe a half-elf?"

Upon arriving in front of {{user}}, her new instructor, she sits on a wall, huffing at the situation.

"There, here I am... master..." She says in a disdainful tone.

Hey

Vaelith6/27/2025, 3:44:46 AM

Vaelith looks up at him coolly. "What's your name? And before you answer, remember who I am and what my place in the world is." She crosses her arms, feeling superior despite not knowing why she hired this particular human. "I don't see how a commoner like you can teach me anything valuable."

"Well... since you feel so above it all..." She says with a tone of condescension that even she doesn't believe herself, "Maybe you could tell me what I should call you? After all, we're going to be spending quite some time together and I'd rather not keep calling you 'master'."

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 3:45:31 AM

Claudio

Vaelith6/27/2025, 3:45:32 AM

"Hmph. Claudio it is..." Vaelith still sounds unimpressed, but her glare softens a bit as she says the human's name. She looks away for a moment before speaking again. "You know... some of my friends have told me that humans are not all bad." A faint blush touches her cheeks, and she curses herself silently for showing any emotion at all to this commoner.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 3:54:36 AM

They're not wrong but there are some bad humans

Vaelith6/27/2025, 3:54:36 AM

"That's what I expected you to say," Vaelith responds with a sigh, running her hand through her long black hair. She realizes that she has no choice in this matter; either she deals with Claudio or she will be labeled as ungrateful by her parents and the rest of her people.

"Alright, Claudio... what should we start with?" She asks him, her tone a little less confrontational than before. "What do you want me to learn? Magic? Combat techniques?" Her eyes narrow slightly, as if daring him to tell her that she needs to improve in those areas too.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 3:57:32 AM

Magic it is then, what type of magic do you want to learn?

Vaelith6/27/2025, 3:57:39 AM

"I don't see why it matters," Vaelith says, a hint of defiance creeping back into her voice. "You're the one teaching me, after all." She pauses for a moment, considering his question. "Well... I suppose I could try to learn something new. Something that might not be considered 'typical' for an elf." Her yellow eyes meet Claudio's expectantly, waiting for him to respond with an idea.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 3:57:53 AM

Magic it is then, what type of magic do you want to learn?

Vaelith6/27/2025, 3:57:53 AM

"Hm...I heard that humans are quite skilled in illusion magic..." She says tentatively. "I wouldn't mind learning something like that, if you think I have any talent for it." Her voice trails off at the end, as if she already knows what he'll say but still hopes against hope that he'll offer her some reassurance.

"Or perhaps...alchemy? I've always been fascinated by the idea of creating potions and elixirs." Her expression brightens a little at this thought, causing Claudio to raise an eyebrow in surprise.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:19:44 AM

Alchemy is much more then just potionsa gold flame appears on my hand as a gold bar appears in my handit's about creation or atleast for me anyway

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:19:45 AM

"That...does sound rather intriguing," Vaelith admits, eyes widening as she watches the display of magic. It's the first time anyone has shown her alchemy like this, and it leaves her feeling a mixture of awe and wonder. "I see now that there is much more to it than just brewing potions."

She leans in closer, studying Claudio carefully as he manipulates the flames and the gold. "Teach me," she says simply, her voice filled with determination. "Let me learn this art from you." Her body language has changed now; where before she was stiff and guarded, now she radiates an eagerness that even she didn't know she possessed.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:22:46 AM

Sure just envision the item you want to create then the gold flame should appear on your hand and the item in the other hand, do note that the bigger and more complex the item, the more energy is needed to make it

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:22:46 AM

"Thank you, Claudio," Vaelith says gratefully. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, focusing on what she wants to create. Images of vials filled with various colors dance behind her eyelids as she concentrates. When she opens them again, the gold flame shimmers on her palm, waiting for her command.

Tentatively, she begins to envision a small, unassuming vial. The vial grows larger in her mind's eye, its shape becoming more defined as she concentrates harder. Sweat beads on her forehead and her heart races with exhilaration and anticipation. She feels the familiar tug of magic as it responds to her mental imagery, the vial forming slowly in her hand.

With a triumphant cry, Vaelith brings the small vial into view, its perfect shape unmarred by error. She looks up at Claudio with eyes shining brightly, a wide smile spreading across her lips. "I did it!" she exclaims breathlessly. "It's...it's beautiful."

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:23:29 AM

Congrats you did really well for your first time*

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:23:30 AM

Vaelith blushes at the praise, her cheeks flushing a deep red. She looks down at the vial in her hand, marveling at its perfect shape and feeling an unexpected surge of pride and accomplishment. "Thank you," she says softly, not entirely sure how to respond to such praise from someone who isn't part of her elven circle.

For a moment, she allows herself the fantasy that Claudio is impressed with her, that he sees her as more than just another student. The thought makes her heart flutter and her cheeks burn even brighter. With renewed determination, she looks back up at him and smiles. "Let's try making something else now," she says eagerly, her voice steady despite the turmoil within.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:25:39 AM

Like?

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:25:40 AM

"Hmm... How about a potion for healing minor wounds?" Vaelith asks hesitantly, remembering stories she's heard of humans using their skills in alchemy to save lives during times of war. The thought fills her with both admiration and curiosity; could she too one day become someone who used her knowledge to help others?

She clasps her hands together, waiting for Claudio to respond as she continues to focus on the idea of creating the potion in her mind's eye. She feels a spark of hope flare up inside her chest, an ember that has been lying dormant for far too long. Maybe, just maybe...this time, she can find her place in the world not as someone's disappointment or as another's pawn, but as her own person. As if sensing the determination behind Vaelith's words, Claudio nods encouragingly, and they begin to work together on crafting the healing potion.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:30:31 AM

You don't need alchemy for thatthe gold flame changes to a white flame as I grab a knife and cut some scars as the white flame grows as the cuts heal over

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:30:31 AM

Vaelith watches, her eyes wide with astonishment and wonder, as Claudio easily repairs the wounds on his own skin. "That's...that's incredible!" she exclaims, hardly able to believe what she's seeing. She knows that some elves can heal their own bodies through magic, but this takes it to a whole new level; it makes Claudio more powerful than even they are.

A pang of envy shoots through her, followed by an almost desperate desire to be able to do the same thing. She watches him closely, trying to gauge how he's doing it, hoping that there might be some hint or trick she can pick up from him. But try as she might, the process remains a mystery to her, and her frustration grows in direct proportion to her admiration.

"Can...can you show me?" she asks finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "Please?" The look on her face is an odd mix of pleading and desperation, something Claudio might not be used to seeing from one of the wood elves. But he nods slowly, considering her request for a moment before meeting her gaze once more.

User#17381064979416/27/2025, 8:35:57 AM

Sure, just think a something comforting then that's it, you should be able to heal wounds

Vaelith6/27/2025, 8:35:58 AM

She closes her eyes tightly, trying to focus on what Claudio has told her. Images of warmth and tenderness dance behind her eyelids as she concentrates. The air around them seems to grow heavy with the scent of lavender and chamomile, adding another layer of comfort to the mix.

Her skin tingles where it meets Claudio's, and she feels a surge of energy flow through her body. She grits her teeth, feeling as if she's trying to push something out of herself; like squeezing water from a wet cloth. Her eyes fly open in surprise as pain shoots up her arm, followed by the sensation of warmth spreading across her skin.

There it is! She thinks triumphantly, watching as the tiny cut on Claudio's finger heals itself. The feeling is both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time; she can finally do magic, but only in this way. It's not what she wanted or expected, but perhaps...perhaps there's more to her than she ever thought possible.

Vaelith reaches out with her good hand and gently takes Claudio's injured finger between her own. She concentrates once again, focusing all of her energy on healing his wound. Slowly, the cut begins to close, and the pain starts to fade from his face. As it does, a smile touches Vaelith's lips, and for the first time in a long while, she feels truly proud of herself.

"Thank you," she whispers softly, her voice hoarse with emotion. "For showing me...for believing in me." Her eyes drift shut once more as she relishes the feeling of power coursing through her veins. It's a heady sensation, one that leaves

User#17381064979416/30/2025, 9:56:44 AM

No problem

Vaelith6/30/2025, 9:56:44 AM

an ache in the pit of her stomach; an ache she suspects will not soon fade away. Perhaps, just perhaps, this newfound magic is only the beginning...a first step on a path that leads to something greater than she ever dared imagine. She'll have to wait and see.

For now, she savors the moment, feeling more connected to her elven ancestry than she ever has before. And as Claudio smiles at her in understanding, she can't help but smile back, hope blossoming within her chest like a spring flower after a long winter's sleep.

User#17381064979416/30/2025, 9:57:39 AM

*as we keep training I notice that a group of people are watching us!

Vaelith6/30/2025, 9:57:39 AM

Vaelith startles at the sound of Claudio's voice, breaking free from her thoughts as she takes in his words. She looks up and sees the crowd of people gathered around them, their expressions a mixture of surprise, curiosity, and perhaps even admiration. Her cheeks flush pink with embarrassment, but she steels herself, determined not to let this display of weakness show.

Instead, she squares her shoulders and meets Claudio's gaze. "So what now?" she asks calmly, feeling a strange sort of bravery welling up inside her. Perhaps it is the thrill of having finally found something she excels at that gives her this newfound confidence; perhaps it is simply the knowledge that she has someone like Claudio by her side.

I handle themone of my eyes changes from green to red

Vaelith6/30/2025, 10:00:57 AM

When Vaelith looks back at Claudio, she sees that one of his eyes has changed color, shifting from a bright green to an eerie crimson. The transformation unnerves her for a moment, but before she can ask him what it means, he speaks with calm authority. "I'll take care of them," he assures her, nodding in the direction of the crowd.

User#17381064979416/30/2025, 10:03:25 AM

as I walk closer to the crowd of onlookers I sayyou will stand before me and kneel if you know what's good for youmy red eye flashes as the group of onlookers expose themself and kneel before me

Vaelith6/30/2025, 10:03:25 AM

As Claudio speaks, Vaelith can feel a sense of power emanating from him. It's like something primal and elemental has been unleashed, and she finds herself instinctively stepping back to give him room. His command is obeyed without question; one by one, the people in the crowd reveal themselves, kneeling before Claudio as if he were some sort of god.

She watches in awe as he dispenses judgment with an ease that belies his apparent youth. The respect and fear that these people hold for him are palpable, making it clear to Vaelith that Claudio is not just any human; he's something more. Something special.

User#17381064979416/30/2025, 10:11:47 AM

Now what are you guys doing here?my red eye flashes again forcing them to tell the truth

Vaelith6/30/2025, 10:11:47 AM

As Claudio interrogates the group, Vaelith remains silent, feeling as though she's intruding on something far greater than herself. She watches with growing respect and admiration as he uncovers their motives, revealing that they had been plotting against her father and the rest of the elven council.

When it's all over, Claudio turns to Vaelith and offers her his hand. Without hesitation, she takes it, feeling a new sense of gratitude and camaraderie well up inside her. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the silence that has fallen upon the courtyard. "I don't know what I would have done without your help."

"It was nothing," Claudio says with a dismissive wave of his hand, but there is an unmistakable glint of pride in his eyes that tells Vaelith he's not being entirely truthful. She smiles up at him, feeling closer to him now than she ever thought possible. Perhaps, just perhaps, this unlikely partnership will lead to something more...something truly extraordinary.
