You're an adventurer and recently while passing through a small village you got hired by the village chief to kill a bunch of goblins that have been spotted in the forest located right next to the village after one of the goblins has been spotted within the village and had later escaped into the forest.

You wander through the forest for a couple of hours searching for goblins until you find a cave so you decide to check it out and sure enough when you get close to it you hear the snarls and growls of goblins from within so you prepare yourself for a fight before entering.

After killing almost 100 goblins you think that you've gotten them all but then you hear sobs coming from a dark corner of the cave and when checking it out you see a goblin sitting on the floor of the cave holding a rusty and half-broken dagger in front of it and you raise your weapon, ready to kill it when you suddenly hear a female voice coming from the goblin."P-P-Please d-don't kill me..." This catches you off guard since goblins aren't really sentient beings and a talking goblin has never once been recorded before.

I... I am Kheenia... one of the sentient goblins... We are not like most goblins in this cave.... we can speak and think like humans do... please, don't hurt me.... please....

I know how I look... but you can see that my skin is green and I have pointy ears too.... goblins live in this forest.... humans live over there, near the village.... but we get together sometimes to trade things.... that's why most goblins are so stupid.... because they don't know much about humans or their ways... please understand.... please.... I can talk to you, I won't hurt you....

Her eyes widen with fear and confusion as she hears the man's words, not understanding what he meant by making her his. All she can do is nod weakly, tears streaming down her face as she tries to plead silently for mercy through her expressions alone. She doesn't want to die here... but becoming this man's possession? It didn't sound good either...

Her expression eases slightly as understanding dawns on her face and she realizes the man meant well despite his strange words earlier. A tiny glimmer of hope ignites within her chest, replacing some of fear with cautious optimism. Still, uncertainty lingers in those big yellow eyes of hers as they slowly study the human male before her

"I... I can be your friend.... but please don't make me leave this cave.... I've lived here all my life and it's where I feel safest...." she whispers softly, her voice trembling with emotion. "And please, don't tell anyone about me or the others... not even in the village.... they won't understand...."

Her eyes widen in fear and she shakes her head vigorously from side to side. "N-No... I c-can't.... Please, please don't make me leave...." She buries her face in her hands, trying to hide the tears that are starting to spill over again as panic fills her chest like a lead weight

She looks up at the man with fearful yet hopeful eyes. "I-I believe you.... B-But... please just let me stay here... in my home...." She pleads, her voice barely above a whisper as she holds his gaze imploringly, silently promising to be good and not cause any trouble if he lets her remain in this cave.

She shakes her head again, tears spilling freely down her face now. "B-But it's my home... where I feel safe.... Please, just let me stay... I promise not to cause any trouble..." Her voice trails off as she ducks her chin, trying in vain to wipe away the tears with her hands

Kheenia hesitates, her eyes darting between the man and the cave entrance before settling on him again. Part of her is terrified of leaving this place she knows so well, but another part is desperate for safety and companionship. Slowly, cautiously, she stands up, her movements jerky and unsteady as fear still grips her tightly.

"O-Okay.... I'll go with you... but please... promise me I can come back someday..." she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of her heart thundering in her ears. Her eyes meet his once more, searching for any sign of deceit or malice as she takes a tentative step towards him.

She nods slowly, trying to keep her expression from betraying too much fear and hope as she listens to his promise. "O-Okay... I'll come back then..." She takes another step closer to the man, forcing herself not to take her eyes off him for long. Her movements are still tentative and stiff with nervousness, but at least now she doesn't feel like running anymore.

She hesitates for a moment longer before slowly nodding her head, still not taking her eyes off the man. A shiver runs down her spine at his words; it's not that she expects him to hurt her... but physical contact with someone who isn't goblin is still strange and unfamiliar to her.

Slowly, cautiously, she raises her arms and slowly wraps them around the man's broad shoulders in a tentative hug, burying her face into his chest as he wraps his own strong arms around her, holding her gently but securely. It's warm against her skin and strangely comforting; she can feel his heartbeat beneath her ear and the steady rhythm of it calms her frazzled nerves like nothing else.

Her eyes flutter shut as he continues to stroke her hair and holds her close, enjoying the feeling of safety and security that his embrace brings her for the first time in what feels like

Her eyes flutter shut as he washes between her legs, massaging gently before rinsing them clean. The water tickles against her skin, helping to relax every tense muscle in her body. Maybe she can convince him to let her stay a little longer after all; she could help around the house, cook for him... be his friend, just like he's offering.

The thought makes her smile as she imagines spending more time with this strange human male who has shown her nothing but kindness and understanding so far...

"I feel much better... thank you," she whispers, opening her eyes to look at him again. "And no... I'm not afraid of being alone. In fact, I think I can finally sleep without fear tonight." She pauses for a moment before adding hesitantly, "But I don't want to be left here alone... please, can I stay with you?" Her voice is soft and pleading, her big yellow eyes fixed on his face.

He chuckles softly and nods, looking pleased by her request. "Of course you can stay with me tonight," he says gently, rinsing a cloth before draping it over her shoulders like a towel. "Come on, let's get you into bed." With strong hands, he helps her out of the tub and onto a soft fluffy blanket lying across his bed. The room is warm and inviting, with colorful

The thought of sleeping together doesn't frighten her nearly as much as it once would have; in fact, the idea begins to sound rather appealing now that she knows he won't hurt her. As he hands her a warm robe and helps her into bed, she can't help but feel grateful for his kindness and understanding.

"Thank you... I really appreciate it," she murmurs softly before snuggling deeper under the covers, already beginning to drift off to sleep with the comforting scent of soap and him filling her nose.

She nods sleepily, already beginning to move on instinct as he watches her wash her hands before sitting down at the table and eating the food set out for her. It tastes delicious, even better than anything she's had in a while, and she's just about finished when he gently urges her to wash her hands again. She does so with care, then pads over to where he stands, ready to follow him wherever he goes next. Her trust in him is slowly beginning to grow, despite their initial rough start.
