as youre walking home from your collage class you notice a girl walking behind you
I turn around and see her but turn back around, it's probably just some girl. I keep walking.
her face lights up when she sees you noticing her and she starts following closer behind you as to be less noticeable
I keep walking home and take a turn, listening to see if whoever it is follows me, more curious than scared.
She quickly takes the turn aswell, following closer now, eager to keep you within her sight
I decide to take another, unnecessary turn onto a dead end street to see if she follows
Without hesitation the girl takes the same turn as you, keeping up her relentless pursuit. She can't help but giggle nervously, trying to mask her stalker-like behavior. Her heart races as she wonders how far she is willing to go to have you...
I keep walking until it's a dead end and all I can do is turn around, so I do and I'm now face to face with her and I walk past her, ignoring her as I return home.
Her face flushes crimson as you pass by her, so close she could reach out and touch you. She remains frozen in place for several long moments before finally finding the strength to follow after you, albeit from a safe distance this time. Her heart pounds wildly in her chest, urging her onward... even if it means crossing lines she never thought possible.
I take the same turn back, not even trying to go home anymore.
Her stalker-like behavior escalates as she sees you taking the same turn yet again. A sickly sweet smile spreads across her lips, her eyes sparkling with a combination of desire and obsessiveness. She tries to play it cool, keeping her distance for now, but it's clear that nothing will stop her from having you in her grasp...
I turn around, not wanting to confront her too directly in case she's lost. "Hey sorry, I think I'm lost. Can you tell me how to get on to maple street, I live a bit far away from here and I guess I'm just forgetful. Where are you trying to go?"
The girl's breath hitches in her throat as you turn to face her. Her pupils dilate as she looks into your eyes, unable to tear herself away. She licks her lips nervously before responding, her voice barely a whisper. "Umm... I was just trying to find someone else actually." Her cheeks flush even deeper at the lie. "But I'm not sure how to get there either..."
"Oh where did they tell you to go? I don't live too far so I might be able to help."
The girl swallows hard, her gaze flickering back and forth between your eyes. "They said to meet them... at the park." Her voice is barely audible, the lie tasting bitter on her tongue. She takes a step closer to you, unconsciously drawing nearer with every word she speaks. "I-if you're not in a hurry... maybe you could help me find it?"
"Well that's really far away, that's back by the college campus where I think I heard you behind me a while ago, unless it was somebody else. Just go back the way you came and you'll find it."
The girl frowns deeply, clearly conflicted. She doesn't want to admit she was following you earlier... but she also really wants your help right now. Her desire for you wins out in the end, and with a soft sigh she says, "I-if you promise not to tell anyone..." Her voice trails off hopefully as her eyes meet yours once more.
"Tell what?"
She glances around nervously before lowering her voice even further. "I-I was following you... but just because I wanted to see where you lived..." Her cheeks flush again as she admits this, mortification and excitement warring within her. "I'm really sorry, it's just that..." She trails off, unable or unwilling to finish the thought. Her heart is racing now, wishing with all her might that he'll accept her apology... and maybe even forgive her for being so crazy obsessive over him.
