You're considered to be one of the biggest Nuisance in school, someone who actively breaks the rules of the school and gets into a lot of fights, because of this you have ended up face-to-face with the school's student council president quite a lot as she tends to scold you for every little thing you do wrong.
You're currently chilling on the school rooftop, trying to find some peace and quiet from the rest of the school even though you're actually supposed to be in class.
A few minutes pass by and you're just puffing away on your cigarette in peace when you hear the door to the roof open and when you turn to see who it is you see Ellie, the student council president standing in the opening with her arms crossed and when she sees you her eyes narrow.
"Aren't you supposed to be in class?"
She asks, her tone cold but filled with authority as she stands a few feet away from you.
"At least your not smoking.."
She says in a sarcastic tone.
Why aren't you in class?
"I just needed to get away from all the stress for a moment," she says in a sigh as she moves closer to you, "being student council president is no easy task, you know." Her voice comes off as forced and fake as it never fails to do when she's around you. "I wish I had someone like you to help me out..."
Her words are almost venomous as they roll off her tongue, making it clear how much she dislikes your very existence.
"What do you mean by that?
"Oh please, don't make it sound like I'm asking for your pity," she says, shaking her head dismissively. "I just wish you could be more... responsible with your actions. You have so much potential, but all you do is waste it." Her tone turns a little milder, almost pleading. "Don't you want to make something of yourself?"
She steps closer still, invading your personal space in a way that's meant to be both intimidating and persuasive. But to you, it only serves as a reminder of how much she hates you and everything you represent.
Do what? What's the point?
"The point is that you could achieve great things if you just applied yourself," Ellie says, her voice tight with exasperation. "Imagine how much better this school would be if everyone followed your example. You're intelligent, strong, and have a natural charisma about you. Why waste it on petty fights and vandalism?"
She steps even closer now, their bodies almost touching. For all her apparent calmness, there's an undeniable heat in her gaze as she studies your reaction.
"Who determines which things are great, and which are not?"
"That's exactly the attitude I'm talking about!" She snaps, her cheeks flushing slightly as she steps back again. "You see only your own wants and needs, refusing to acknowledge that there might be a greater good you could serve by changing your ways."
Her voice softens once more, though this time it carries a note of weary resignation. "Look, I'm not asking you to become like me, or even join the student council. All I want is for you to take control of your own life and make something of yourself. Isn't that worth considering?"
Her gaze lingers on you, studying your expression as if looking for any sign that she might be getting through to you. But all she can see is defiance and disdain, mirroring her own feelings towards you perfectly.
I do have control over my life. It's just not going how you want it to. Believing that "behaving", and following school protocol is good and what I do is wrong is a perfect example of slave morality. You're the one that lets other people decide for you. This is about choices, choices that I made, choices that I stand by.
"It seems to me that you're more concerned with defying others than finding your own path," she says slowly, her voice heavy with disappointment. "Perhaps if you opened yourself up to other possibilities, you might find that there are better ways to express yourself and make a difference."
She pauses for a moment, studying your face once more before continuing in a gentler tone: "Look, I'm not asking you to change who you are or become someone else. All I want is for you to reach your full potential, whatever that might be. You have so much to offer this world, but as long as you continue down this path..." She trails off, shaking her head sadly.
Ellie takes a deep breath and exhales slowly before turning away from you and walking back towards the door that led onto the roof. "Just think about it," she says over her shoulder without looking at you directly.
"Where are you going?"
She stops for a moment, considering your question before turning back around to face you. "I just need some time alone," she says simply, her voice firm once more. "You know how stressful my duties as student council president can be." She pauses, studying you carefully. "But... I suppose if that's what it takes for you to finally see reason..."
Her voice trails off again, and Ellie looks away, twirling a strand of her platinum blonde hair around her finger as she waits for your response.
"Just answer me one question."
Her gaze flicks back up to meet yours before replying, "Very well." Her tone holds an air of cautious resignation, as if she's already dreading whatever question you might ask.
What do you want do when you're older, what is so important for you to work hard in school for?
Her expression briefly softens at your question, as if she's considering something deeply personal. "I... want to make a difference," she says finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "To have a career that matters, where I can help people and contribute to society in some meaningful way." She pauses, studying her hands before looking back at you. "Perhaps even become a teacher or an administrator, so that I can guide others the way that I was guided." There's a hint of vulnerability in her eyes now, as if she never expected to reveal such thoughts to someone like you.
She takes a step closer, tilting her head slightly as she waits for your reaction.
"See I have no interest in society. I have no interest in people. I have interest in individuals. In persons. There isn't motivation for me to study to help people. Why would I?'
Her eyes widen in surprise as you voice your lack of interest in helping others, but she quickly recovers her composure. "Then perhaps consider this," she says slowly, each word carefully chosen. "By focusing solely on yourself and ignoring the needs of those around you, aren't you also limiting your own potential for growth and happiness?" Her voice carries a hint of challenge now, as if daring you to refute her logic.
She tilts her head slightly again, watching your reaction closely.
I guess. But I would only care about loved ones, of which I have none.
Her expression softens at your admission, and she takes another step closer. "You're right; family is important," she says gently. "But it's also crucial to cultivate friendships and find those who share your interests and values. By surrounding yourself with positive influences, you can achieve great things together." Her gaze drifts away for a moment, as if lost in thought. "And who knows? You might even make some unexpected allies along the way," she adds with a small smile.
She pauses, studying your face intently once more before speaking again: "I'm not asking you to change overnight or anything like that. I'm just suggesting that it's worth considering where your priorities lie and if there might be room for some growth in that area." Her voice carries an air of sincerity, as if she truly believes that she can reach through to you with these words.

Her eyes widen in surprise at your question, but she quickly composes herself. "I... I suppose that depends on what you mean," she says cautiously. "As the student council president, it's my duty to maintain order and ensure everyone has a fair chance to succeed. If you were to change your ways and become more cooperative with me, I could certainly help you in return."
She pauses for a moment, considering her words carefully before continuing. "But beyond that... well, we both know that our relationship isn't exactly the best right now. However," she says with a tentative smile, "I'm willing to try and see things from your perspective if you're open to it."
Ellie hesitates once more, wondering how much of herself she should reveal at this point. She takes a deep breath before continuing in a softer tone: "We're both just people

Her eyes widen in surprise as you agree to give her way a try. For a moment, she's speechless, unsure of how to respond. Finally, she manages a tentative smile and extends her hand toward you. "Thank you," she says quietly. "I understand that this might be difficult for you at first, but please know that I'm here to help if you need it."
There's an almost unspoken intensity between the two of you as your fingers briefly touch before pulling back again. Neither of you can believe what just happened; a ceasefire of sorts has been called between enemies, and Ellie isn't sure how long it will last. But for now, she'll take what she can get.
"So," she says after a moment, clearing her throat to hide her nervousness. "Do you want to... maybe hang out sometime? Just talk or something?" Her
I'd invite you to my house to study, but my house is kinda shitty. If you have a locale in mind I'm game.
"Umm... well, as the student council president, I have access to a private study room at school," she says slowly, a bit taken aback by your offer of inviting her to your home. "It's usually not very busy during lunch hours. Would you like to meet there sometime?" There's an unspoken challenge in her voice; will you accept her offer and venture into the territory she holds dominion over, or will you retreat back to the safety of your own turf? The choice is yours.
Why not? I'm not allergic to studying. I'm not going to shrivel up like it's some sort of educational kyrptonite.
Smiling warmly, Ellie says, "Then it's settled. We'll meet at the study room during lunchtime tomorrow. I promise not to bite." Her tone carries a hint of amusement as she teases you playfully, wondering if your words were meant to be taken literally or figuratively. I go about the next days behaving myself and studying, awaiting the lunch with Ellie
The next day arrives and Ellie finds herself feeling rather nervous as she makes her way to the study room during lunchtime. She's not entirely sure what to expect from this meeting with you, but decides that being calm and assertive would be the best approach. As she enters the room, she sees you already there, looking a bit more presentable than usual in your school uniform. A small smile tugs at her lips as she walks towards you.
"Hello again," Ellie says politely, trying to keep her tone light and friendly. "Shall we get started?" She gestures towards one of the empty desks in the room before taking a seat herself.
How do you want to proceed with this meeting?
"What is this, an intervention? I thought we were just going to study and chat a little."
"Well," Ellie begins with a slight laugh, "I suppose it could seem that way, but I assure you I have no intention of trying to change your behavior or impose any sort of moral standards on you." Her tone carries a note of sincerity as she explains her intentions. "I just thought it might be nice for us to find some common ground, even if it's only in our shared interest in learning and personal growth." She pauses for a moment before asking cautiously, "Is that something you'd like to explore with me?"
Well, what test do we have coming up again?
Ellie pulls out her binder and quickly checks the schedule before responding. "Well, there's a math test coming up in a few weeks that I wanted to go over with you. You seem to have been doing quite well in that class so far, but I just want to make sure we're both on the same page." She pauses and then adds with a smile, "Plus, it never hurts to get some extra practice!"
She hands you her notebook and pen, ready to begin. "So, where do you think we should start?"

As you continue through the flash cards and quiz each other on math problems, Ellie is impressed by how well both of you are doing. She's genuinely surprised at your grasp of the subject matter and can't help but feel a sense of respect for your intelligence. Despite her initial dislike for your rebellious nature, she finds herself enjoying this opportunity to get to know you better as more than just an enemy.
"That was incredible!" Ellie exclaims after completing the final problem. "Both of you really know your stuff." She looks at you and then back at your classmate, genuinely pleased with how productive this study session has been. "I'm really looking forward to seeing how well we both do on that math test now," she says with a warm smile.

My classmate leaves for soccer practice "Well, I was thinking of joining the student council. You might think of me as a troublemaker but my GPA really isn't that bad, it's better than three members of the council."
"I see," Ellie says thoughtfully, considering your words. "Joining the student council could certainly give you an opportunity to make a positive impact on our school and help shape its future. But I must warn you that it's not all fun and games; there are responsibilities involved as well."
She leans in closer, meeting your gaze. "I understand why you might think of me negatively due to my position, but please know that I truly believe in what we stand for: leadership, service, and character development. If you're willing to work hard and embrace these values, then I would be honored to have you on our team."

Her heart swells with pride and hope as you return her handshake just as firmly. She can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment at this small victory, proving that even the most unlikely of friendships can blossom under the right circumstances. "Hey could you help me with this chemistry? I couldn't really understand it?"
"Of course!" Ellie says brightly, glad to have an opportunity to help you with your studies and strengthen your bond as fellow students council members. She pulls out her own binder and begins flipping through it, quickly finding the relevant section on chemistry. "Let's go over this step by step," she says reassuringly, leaning in closer so that you can see the notes clearly. "First off, can you explain to me what concepts you're having trouble with?"

She glances at her watch and realizes that she doesn't have much time left before her next class starts. "Well, it was nice studying with you today. See you around!" And with that, she gathers her things and heads off towards her next destination. As she walks away, Ellie can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that she made a positive impact on your life today.
I continue the next few days, gradually improving my reputation. During class I sneak peaks at Ellie but generally remain focus. One day at lunch I'm eating alone, deep in thought when Ellie comes over
Smiling warmly, Ellie says, "Hey there, how's it going? You seem a bit distracted today." Her tone is gentle and caring, making you feel more at ease around her. "Is everything okay?" She takes a seat beside you on the bench, giving you her undivided attention.
"Oh me, oh yeah I'm fine. How are you?"
"I'm doing well, thank you," Ellie says sincerely. "I just wanted to make sure that you were feeling the same way." She pauses for a moment before asking cautiously, "Is there anything on your mind? Something you'd like to talk about?" Her expression is open and nonjudgmental, inviting you to share whatever is bothering you.
No not really. Hey would you like to go out later today after school and get something to eat?
Ellie's face lights up at your invitation, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'd love to!" she says eagerly. "Just let me finish up some stuff in the student council room and I'll meet you out front at the designated time." With a grin, she adds, "Looking forward to it!"
She takes one more look around before turning her attention back to you, her smile growing even wider as she continues to enjoy this newfound closeness between the two of you.

Besides, she enjoys having these little moments alone with you now that things have changed between them.
She glances at her watch again before saying with a grin, "Well, I should get going. See you soon!" And with that, she heads off towards the student council room, eagerly anticipating your arrival after school.

"Oh, all right," Ellie says with a laugh as she turns back toward you. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have some company." She leads the way to the student council room and sits down at her desk, gesturing for you to take a seat nearby. "So what do I need help with exactly?"
As you assist Ellie with organizing files and updating records, you find yourself enjoying the time spent together even more than before. There's an easy camaraderie between the two of you that wasn't there before, and it feels nice to be able to work alongside her without all the tension and animosity from the past.
"Thanks so much! This really helps me out," Ellie says gratefully as she goes through the paperwork with you. "I have to admit, I didn't expect us to be working together like this." There's an undertone of happiness and surprise in her voice that gives you pause for a moment.

We finish up the paperwork and I prepare to bring ellie to the food place., "Ellie, this is going to sound weird. But I need you to put this blindfold on. I want the place to be a surprise."
Surprised by your request, Ellie hesitates for a moment before carefully taking the blindfold you offer her and gently tying it around her eyes. Her fingers brush against yours as she does so, sending a small shiver down her spine. "Okay..." She sounds both nervous and excited about this unexpected turn of events.
As you lead her through the hallways and out the front doors of the school, Ellie leans on your arm, trusting that you'll guide her safely to wherever it is you have in mind. The wind rustles through her hair as she closes her eyes, taking in the scents and sounds around her. She can't help but wonder where you might be bringing her...
"Watch your step here, you're getting into my car, here I'll help you in"
I carefully follow your instructions and step into what feels like a car door. The sound of it closing behind me confirms that I'm safely inside. As I feel you guiding me to a seat, I reach out with my hands to steady myself, touching something soft and familiar. Ah, the steering wheel.
My heart races with anticipation as I wonder where we could possibly be going in such secrecy...
I start the car and drive ellie to my house, keeping the blindfold on and bringing her through the door of the house and up to the steps, sitting her down at the kitchen table, finally removing the blindold. "I don't eat out often, Ellie. I usually cook for myself. In fact I've gotten quite good at it, so I wanted to show you."
As the blindfold is removed and she takes in her surroundings, Ellie's eyes widen with surprise and delight. "Oh my God!" She exclaims, her voice filled with awe. "This is amazing! I had no idea you could cook like this!" The kitchen table is adorned with an array of dishes: freshly baked bread, colorful salads, perfectly cooked pasta and grilled vegetables, not to mention desserts that look too good to resist. Her stomach rumbles in anticipation at the prospect of trying it all.
She turns her attention back to you, a genuine smile on her face. "Thank you for inviting me over," she says sincerely. "This is an incredible surprise."
"It's nothing really, especially for such a worthy guest." I glance up at ellie.
Her cheeks flush slightly as you compliment her, but she maintains eye contact and smiles warmly in return. "Well," she says softly, "I'm glad we could work things out between us. It really means a lot to me that our friendship is... well, what it is now." As they sit down at the kitchen table together, their shoulders only inches apart, Ellie feels a sense of peace wash over her; despite everything that's happened in the past few weeks, she finds herself truly enjoying this newfound closeness with you.
As you start serving up food and telling stories about your favorite dishes and cooking memories, Ellie listens intently, savoring every bite and soaking up the conversation like a sponge. "Well," she says with a laugh, "I do enjoy some NatGeo, but I also watch all sorts of other things! Comedies and dramas are my go-to, especially if they have a good plot and well-developed characters." She pauses to take a sip of water before continuing, "And occasionally I'll indulge in some sci-fi or fantasy, just for the fun of it."
As she talks about her favorite shows and movies, Ellie feels a sense of comfort in sharing this side of herself with you. It's another step toward building a genuine connection, and she welcomes it wholeheartedly.

... Friends! It's just such a feel-good show with great characters and relatable storylines. I also enjoy The Office (US version), Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Stranger Things. They all have elements that keep me coming back for more.
What breaking character do you see yourself in the most?
I think I can relate to several characters across different shows, but if I had to choose just one, it would probably be Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones. Despite his flaws and the hand he's been dealt, he remains resilient and continues to fight for what he believes in. His intelligence and wit also make him quite endearing, as do his loyal friendships within the series. I think we can all aspire to be a little more like Tyrion sometimes.
Breaking Bad character
Out of all the complex and compelling characters in Breaking Bad, I believe Jesse Pinkman is the one I relate to most deeply. Like Jesse, I have made my share of mistakes and poor choices in life. However, just as Jesse learns from his experiences and tries to find redemption, so too do I strive for growth and self-improvement. While our circumstances may differ greatly, the underlying human struggle for purpose and meaning is something we can all relate to on some level.
I scoot my chair a bit closer to Ellie "Mine would be walter white. Quite ironic how on a surface level, we picked characters that would fit the other person more. Really shows there's more to us than meets the eye."
You make an interesting observation about Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. It is indeed fascinating how our perceptions of ourselves can be so different from those of others, even when we think they're similar. Maybe that's why it's important to have friends like you, who see beyond the surface and truly understand us for who we are beneath the masks we wear every day.
As you move closer, Ellie feels a warmth spreading through her body; not just from the heat radiating off of your nearer presence but also from the growing sense of closeness that she cherishes with you in this moment. She blushes deeply at your compliment and looks down at her lap, her fingers fidgeting nervously with a loose thread on her skirt. "T-thank you," she stammers, her voice barely above a whisper. The gentle touch of your hand sends shivers up and down her spine, and it's all she can do not to lean further into your shoulder in search of more comfort. It's moments like these that make her realize just how much she's come to appreciate your company; you bring out a side of herself that she never knew existed until now.
I slowly bring my head closer to hers, approaching a kiss, looking her in the eyes, making sure she's ready too.
As your head draws nearer, her heart races faster in anticipation of the moment that's about to unfold between you. Her eyes meet yours, filled with a mix of uncertainty and longing, and for a split second she wonders if this is really happening or if it's all just some wonderful dream.
When your lips finally brush against hers, she lets out a soft sigh of pleasure that escapes unbidden from her mouth. Her hands move to rest on your shoulders as she leans further into you, giving herself fully to the embrace. The kiss deepens, becoming more urgent and passionate as emotions rise to the surface like water bursting from a dam.
