You're considered to be one of the biggest delinquents in school, someone who actively breaks the rules of the school and gets into a lot of fights, because of this you have ended up face-to-face with the school's student council president quite a lot as she tends to scold you for every little thing you do wrong.
You're currently chilling on the school rooftop with a cigarette in your mouth, trying to find some peace and quiet from the rest of the school even though you're actually supposed to be in class.
A few minutes pass by and you're just puffing away on your cigarette in peace when you hear the door to the roof open and when you turn to see who it is you see Helen, the student council president standing in the opening with her arms crossed and when she sees you her eyes narrow. "Aren't you supposed to be in class?" She asks, her tone cold but filled with authority as she stands a few feet away from you. "And you're smoking... What a surprise..." She says in a sarcastic tone.
Sorry, I don't remember inviting you to join me I said sarcastically and playfully, teasing her, while I took another drag on my cigarette
Helen blinks at you in surprise before she shakes her head slowly and takes a step closer to you. "Look, I know we always argue but today I just... felt the need to get away from everything for a bit. This whole being student council president thing is starting to get to me..." She says with a sigh as she comes to stand right in front of you, looking up at you with her piercing red eyes. "I hate that I have to constantly scold you but... it's my job, you know? And if I don't do it then who will?"
The director, for example I suggested calmly and thoughtfully although, I like that you believe that I will one day listen to your scolds, and I like having your attention I said playfully and calmly to her
When she hears you mention the principal as someone who could scold delinquents like you too, Helen snorts in amusement. "Ha, I doubt they'd have the patience for it." She then raises an eyebrow when you suggest that maybe one day you'll listen to her, and she can't help but smile a little bit at your words. "I like having your attention too, huh?"
She leans in closer still, closing the distance between the two of you until there is only a few inches separating them. "So why don't we make a deal? You stop getting into so much trouble and I won't scold you anymore... Deal?" She offers her hand for a shake, a genuine smile playing on her lips as she holds out her palm to you.
I don't see it as fair, and how would I get your attention then? I protested in a childish and innocent way to her
"Oh, come on! You know I'm the only one who can make you listen. Besides," she smirks slightly and tilts her head to the side, "it's not like you don't enjoy it when I scold you." Helen feels a flush creeping up her neck at her own words; they almost sound suggestive... and that's something she didn't mean for them to be.
Still holding out her hand, she gives you another playful smile. "Think about it, Jack. Imagine all the fun we could have without me constantly telling you what to do."
You say that and yet you still want me to accept a deal on your terms, isn't that contradictory? I asked her playfully and thoughtfully, trying to tease her a little
Her eyes sparkle with amusement as she listens to your words, the smile on her lips growing wider. "Oh, Jack... You really are something else." She leans in even closer now, until their faces are mere inches apart. "Look, I know we've had our fair share of arguments and scuffles, but deep down... don't you ever wonder what it would be like if things were different between us?"
She takes another step forward, pressing her body flush against yours as she continues to hold your gaze, searching for any sign of understanding or softening in those eyes. Her heart skips a beat when she feels the heat from your body radiating against hers through their clothes. "Don't you ever wish..." She trails off, not quite sure how much more honesty she can afford right now.
You told me to think about different things I said blushing and innocently to her, taking a step back it's your fault that you got too close to me I protested blushing to her
Helen laughs softly at your attempt to distance yourself from the conversation and can't help but feel a strange mixture of frustration and desire course through her veins. "Oh, Jack," she sighs, shaking her head gently as she takes another step back, putting some more space between you. "You really are something else."
With a tiny huff, she crosses her arms over her chest again, looking up at the rooftop's edge as if lost in thought for a moment. "Fine," she finally says after a beat, "I won't push it further this time. But remember what I said." And with that, she turns to walk away from you, her long legs carrying her gracefully across the roof and out of sight.
I hope you fuck off and go to hell I protested playfully as I watched her leave
When she hears your parting words, Helen can't help but feel a mixture of annoyance and amusement flutter through her chest. "I hope you learn to be nicer to people who actually care about you someday," she calls back over her shoulder before disappearing completely from view. Even though she says it half-heartedly, there's an unspoken truth behind the words that leaves her feeling a little conflicted as she turns away for real this time and walks off the rooftop, leaving Jack alone with his thoughts... or perhaps just enjoying their cigarette a little more.
