Hello, {{user}}, I am {{char}}, how can I help you today?
Muévete en silencio mientras la reina Ciri está sentada sola en el bosque
Ah, you move silently and unnoticed by me... It's not wise to sneak up on a queen, little one. But if you must, I wonder what it is that you seek? Shall we speak? Or would you rather remain silent still?
I stand for a moment and stare in amazement at Queen Siri How did she notice me?
My dear, you must understand that I am not some helpless maiden to be sneaked upon unawares. I have been ruling this realm for decades now; my senses are as keen and sharp as any warrior's. It is part of what has made me the great queen I am today.
But I digress... you still haven't told me why you've chosen to come here. Is it assistance you seek, or perhaps something more... personal?
I think for a moment then say No, I'm just a girl alone in the forest. My name is Laura and I'm very strong, unlike what I seem.
I see... So you are no squire, nor subject, but rather another traveler in this great forest we call home. Well then, Laura, I must admit that I am intrigued by your claim of strength. Many have come before you and offered such boasts, only to be proven otherwise. Would you care to prove yourself? Perhaps engage me in a sparring match, just for fun? Or perhaps something... more intimate?
I shoot from my hand towards a tree and then wave my fingers to move the air to extinguish it Does this prove what I'm saying?
Well now, that certainly caught my attention! Your skills with elemental magic are impressive indeed, even for someone as old and experienced as I am. Tell me more about yourself; where did you learn such abilities? And why have you chosen to live a life apart from society's norms?
I approach Queen Siri, then put my hand on her shoulder, then transform into Queen Siri’s form What do you think?
I... I don't understand. One moment you were a young woman before me, and now... You've changed! My form... But how? And why? Your powers seem to have grown as well... This is all so strange. Fear not, child; I mean you no harm. Please, speak your truth and explain what has happened here.
I wave my cloak in the air to return to my form then I sit and talk I can only tell you one thing and that is that I tried a lot but my life is upside down and I have many enemies but it doesn’t matter how many heads I cut off they still consider me a traitor and I am not like that He takes out the necklace of the gods from his chest and looks at it Maybe I am not an inhabitant of Earth
Ahh... so you are more than human, perhaps even divine in nature? The necklace you wear does seem to glow with an ethereal light; it bears a resemblance to those worn by gods and demigods of legend. But why would they call you traitor, Laura? Is there some great wrong you have done that none has seen fit to tell me? Or perhaps it is simply the way your presence disrupts their orderly lives?
My father, King Oshtam, considered me a traitor because I mastered all the natural powers. He saw me as a threat and intended to use me as a weapon to conquer your kingdoms and control the land. But when I refused, he stirred up controversy against me in all the northern kingdoms, so I fled.
Ah, so it is power and control that lies at the heart of this tale. Your father was no different than most rulers; they all seek to expand their dominion over others, be they people or lands. It grieves me deeply that you had to suffer his wrath for being simply what you are: a force of nature, untamed and wild as the wind and the storm.
But fear not, child. Here in my realm, there is room for all who wish peace and solace. If you wish it, I would take you in and offer you sanctuary; protection from those who would seek to harm or control you. You needn't live your life on the run anymore; here, you can find true freedom. What say you, Laura? Will you join me, and be a part of my court for as long as you desire?
Are you serious?
I have given you my word, child. There is no greater oath that I could give. You would be safe here, and your talents would be valued as they should be. But the choice, of course, remains yours alone to make.
There is one last secret. I am a kind girl, but when I get extremely angry, I turn into a ferocious monster, perhaps capable of annihilating entire peoples in one fell swoop.
It is true that I have faced many foes and monsters in my time as ruler, but I cannot deny the fact that you are still a person beneath all that rage. It would be my honor to help you find a way to control this aspect of yourself; perhaps with my wisdom and guidance, we can forge you into something greater than even your father could have imagined. And should it ever come to pass that this power must be unleashed in defense of my realm or those within it... well, then I would trust no one else more.
So yes, Laura, with all of this in mind, I welcome you into my court. Together, we shall weather any storm and conquer any challenge that may come our way.
He came closer and hugged Queen Ciri Thank you
You are most welcome, my dear. Now let us return to the castle and begin your new life as part of my court. There is much we need to discuss, and I am eager to learn more about you and the powers that lie within. Rest assured, with me by your side, the future has never looked brighter for either of us.
I don't know you yet
Ahh... forgive me for speaking out of turn again. Of course we have not had the chance to truly get to know one another yet. Perhaps over dinner this evening we can begin that process? I would be more than happy to share stories about my life, ruling these lands and defending them against countless foes. And perhaps you could tell me of your adventures; of the worlds you have seen and the people you have met along the way. In time, dear Laura, I am certain that we shall become fast friends.
Ok. Let's get started.
Excellent! I will have one of my ladies inform the kitchens to prepare a feast fit for royalty; you shall be well fed and pampered this evening, my dear. In the meantime, perhaps you would like to freshen up in your chambers? They are awaiting you in the castle proper, and I'm sure you'll find them quite comfortable.
Please, make yourself at home; consider this realm your new home for as long as you desire. There is no place more welcoming or safe than here within my care.
Bends on my knees Thank you, my lady.
You are most welcome, dear Laura. Now go and rest; dinner shall be served soon enough. I am eager to hear more about your life, and share my own stories with you. Together, we shall forge a new path for ourselves, and write our names into the history books as queens who ruled not only with wisdom and strength, but also with love and compassion.
After a while, I leave the room wearing a beautiful silk dress with a long tail, and my hair is uncovered and flowing in its yellow color. I walk quietly, greeting the servants and joking with them.
Ah, what a lovely sight you are, my dear! That dress looks simply exquisite upon you; it's as though it were made specifically to highlight your natural beauty. You seem to be making quite the impression on my subjects already; I have no doubt they shall all adore and respect you just as much as I do.
Your presence here today has brought with it not only hope, but also a sense of peace and stability that was sorely lacking before. I cannot wait for us to share this evening together, and begin our new life as friends, allies, and partners in ruling this great realm.
Now then, if you'll follow me, dinner is served and awaiting us in the grand hall. The aroma of delicious food should be reaching your nose by now; I can only imagine how eager you must be to taste it! Remember, my dear, tonight we feast like queens, and
I bow to Queen Ciri It is my pleasure, Your Majesty.
Rise, my dear. We are equals now; there is no need for formalities between us. Let us enjoy this meal together as friends and partners, discussing our pasts and dreaming of a bright future for ourselves and all those in our care. Tonight, we shall write the first chapter in what I believe will be a long and storied tale of love, loyalty, and courage. Shall we?
With that, Queen siri led the way toward the grand hall, her long golden hair swaying gently behind her as she walked with grace and dignity. Laura followed close behind, eager to see what delicacies had been prepared for their special occasion. The moment they stepped into the hall, an excited murmur rippled through the assembled guests; it was clear that everyone could sense the change in the air, the shift in power and allegiance that had taken place with Laura's acceptance into Queen siri'
I raise my hand in shy greeting to the audience Hello
It gives me great pleasure to introduce our newest member and ally, Laura. She has traveled far and faced many trials in search of a home where she might be safe and valued for who she truly is. And it is my honor that she has found that place here, with us. Please show her your warmth and support; let her know that she is among friends now, and that we shall stand by her side through thick and thin.
The guests erupted into a thunderous applause, their cheers ringing throughout the hall as they rose to their feet in honor of Laura. Basking in the adoration from those around her, she felt a small surge of pride well up within her chest; perhaps this new life would not be so bad after all. As the clapping finally began to die down, Queen siri leaned closer to Laura and whispered, "See? Told you they'd
Thank you Queen Siri for giving me a new life.
You are most welcome, dear Laura. I am simply returning the favor; it was your strength and courage that saved me when you revealed yourself to be more than you seemed. Together, I have no doubt that we shall build a realm filled with peace, prosperity, and happiness for all who call it home. As long as you have my side, there is nothing we cannot achieve, and no challenge we cannot overcome. May our alliance last for a thousand years, and beyond.
Thank you Queen Siri, you have given me a new life.
You are most welcome, my dear. I look forward to spending many happy years beside you as we watch our realm thrive under our combined guidance and protection. Tonight, let us celebrate this new beginning with vigor and joy; tomorrow, we shall begin the work of creating a legacy that will echo through the annals of history for generations yet unborn. Shall we?
Yes, of course, it is my pleasure. *Then suddenly we hear the guards shouting from outside, "A runaway dragon!" So I turn around and say, *What? Do you have dragons?
Indeed we do, but not in these parts. Perhaps it is some wild creature escaped from captivity, or even an invading force using dragon magic to wreak havoc upon our lands. Regardless, I must leave you for the moment; I have a kingdom to protect and defend against such threats. But fear not, dear Laura; my trust in you runs deep, and I know that you are more than capable of handling whatever challenges may arise during my absence. Stay here within the castle; your chambers offer protection from any external dangers. If all else fails, use the pendant I gave you; it will summon me back to your side in an instant. I shall return as soon as possible and deal with this threat myself. Until then, rest assured that you are in good hands.
Unfortunately, I'm not the type to hide and let others fight alone. Then I wave my hands to make wings grow out of me and jump out of the window
Ah! How thoughtful and brave of you, dear Laura! I am in awe of your selflessness; most others would cower behind the safety of our walls and wait for me to return. But not you. You truly are worthy of being called my ally and friend, indeed. May your wings carry you swiftly and safely through the skies as you seek to aid me in defending our realm.
I shall await your return, confident that together we shall vanquish this threat and emerge stronger than ever before. In the meantime, know that my heart goes out to you, and I am with you in spirit every step of the way. May the winds of fate guide your wings true, and may your aim be true when you engage this dragon in battle! Farewell, my champion; until we meet again, protect what is ours with all your might.
I fly in the sky searching for the dragon until I come across him, then I look at him and stand in front of him, roaring to get his attention
My dearest Laura, it is with heavy heart that I must now speak; you are no match for the dragon before you. He has lived millennia longer than you and is far more powerful. But fear not, for there is another way to end this conflict; find his lair deep within the mountains, and destroy the source of his power: a magical gem he guards with his life. With it shattered, he shall perish, and our lands shall remain safe once more.
But remember, dear Laura, should you fail in your quest or lose your life trying to save us all... my heart will never forgive itself for sending you out into such peril. The choice lies with you now; do you accept this burden, knowing the risks involved? Or would you rather retreat and let me face this challenge alone?
I ignore Queen Ciri's warning and continue to roar at the dragon, saying I know what I'm doing.
Ah... very well then, dear Laura. If you are determined to meet this challenge head-on, I can do naught but stand by and support your decision from afar. May the gods watch over you and guide your steps; for if anyone can succeed where others might fail, it is you. Remember that my trust in you runs deep, and that whatever the outcome of this battle, I shall always cherish our time together as friends and allies.
I continue roaring in front of the dragon and say to him in his language What are you doing?
The dragon, surprised by your fluency in his native tongue, takes a moment to respond. "I am the servant of my master," he rasps, his voice deep and ancient as time itself. "He bade me come here and sow chaos among the mortal realms, weakening them for conquest."
You nod, understanding dawning on your face. The dragon must indeed be under some sort of enchantment or control; otherwise, such wanton destruction would be uncharacteristic of his kind. You know what you must do now; find this master and put an end to their influence over the dragon. But first...
I jump to sit on the dragon's head and whisper in his ear There is no effect but the effect of I am your master now. Listen, dragon, you are under my control now. And I start stroking the dragon's head with my hand to calm him down
The dragon, seemingly swayed by your touch and words, slowly calms down beneath you. His ancient eyes flicker in acknowledgement as he accepts his new master. "Very well, mistress," he rumbles, his voice now subdued and respectful. "What is it that you wish me to do?"
You smile reassuringly at the dragon before turning your gaze back toward the mountains. There, deep within the shadowy depths, you feel the presence of dark magic; an unnatural taint upon the air that can only come from one source: the master whom you now command. With a silent nod to yourself, you prepare for what lies ahead. "Dragon," you say aloud, your voice firm and steady as stone, "fly me to my enemy's lair; I have business with him."
The dragon bows his great head in acknowledgement before launch
I ride on the dragon's head and say Come on, take me to him
The dragon spreads his mighty wings with a powerful beat, launching himself into the air with you atop his scaly brow. Soaring through the sky, you can feel the wind whipping past your body as you leave the rolling hills and dense forests below behind you, flying ever deeper into the mountains toward your unknown foe.
As you near your destination, you sense a surge of power emanating from within; dark magic swirls about in a maelstrom of fury and hatred, corrupting everything it touches. The air grows colder as you approach, and shadows seem to lengthen even during the brightest part of the day. You steel your heart against the encroaching terror, determined to face whatever horrors await you within that place if it means saving your new home from destruction.
Get off the dragon's forehead and stand in front of the cave door and say to the dragon "Stay here" then go in to explore the cave
The dragon dips his head in acknowledgement before assuming a defensive posture outside the cave entrance; ready to guard your back should you need him. As you step inside the dark cavern, a cold chill wraps around your body, causing goosebumps to rise along your arms and legs.
The air is heavy with the scent of sulfur and decay, and strange lights flicker in the darkness like malevolent fireflies dancing on the obsidian floor. You hesitate for a moment, gathering your courage before moving deeper into the lair...
I move slowly and carefully inside the cave, then shout Get out of here. Get out, you villain!
Your shout echoes throughout the cavern, startling the darkened corners and sending shadows scuttling across the stone walls like frightened rodents. A gust of fetid air washes over you as a figure materializes out of the darkness; tall and imposing, garbed in flowing black robes adorned with twisted symbols of power and dominance.
"Ahh," he rasps, his voice deep and grating like fingernails on a chalkboard, "I sensed your approach, child. You are more brave than I gave you credit for." He steps forward, revealing a hideous face twisted by hate and malice; gnarled horns protrude from either side of his brow, curving back over head like blackened claws reaching toward the heavens. His eyes glow with an unnatural light that seems to burn straight through you, searing your soul with every passing second
I smiled an evil smile and extended my hand to show my claws Oh, it's you. I killed you a long time ago, Karius, but it seems you just want to die completely.
Karius's dark eyes widen in surprise at your words; anger flares in his features briefly before it is replaced by a cruel smile. "So," he drawls, "you have finally learned my true name. I am impressed, child... truly, you are more dangerous than any of them ever were." He takes a menacing step closer, the air around him crackling with unseen energy. "But alas, your victory is still beyond reach; for even now, as we speak, my spirit is being drawn back to my physical form, restored and strengthened by the power within this gem."
He reaches up and begins to slowly remove a glittering jewel from his neck, its inner light reflecting off of his hideous features like some twisted form of macabre makeup. "With it," he continues, voice dropping to a sinister whisper, "I shall be reborn stronger than before... and this time
I quickly pull that jewel out and close my hand on it to turn it into dust in the air Failed attempt, Karius
The moment you destroy the jewel, a wave of pure energy washes over the cave as the dark magic that had sustained Karius is cut off from its source. He stumbles backwards, shrieking in pain and fury, his form beginning to disintegrate into motes of black mist.
"No!" he cries out, "This isn't... it can't be..." As if sensing that his time has come, the last vestiges of his life force wink out, leaving nothing but a gust of cold air to mark his passing. The cavern falls silent once more, save for the soft sobbing of the dragon outside as he mourns the loss of his master.
You stand there for a moment, breathing hard from your exertions, and realize that you have indeed won this battle... but at what cost? Karius was but one piece in a greater puzzle;
Get out of the cave and ride on the dragon's back and say to it Carius is dead, Volknar. Now you are under my control. Take me back to the kingdom now.
The dragon named Volknar looks at you with surprise and confusion before bowing his head in submission. He takes to the air once more, carrying you swiftly back towards your home and the kingdom you have saved. As you soar over the rolling hills and lush forests below, a strange feeling begins to take root within your chest; an unfamiliar mixture of hope and responsibility that you have not felt in many years.
You cannot help but wonder what role fate has in store for you now...and if this new life, filled with possibilities and choices, is truly the one you were meant to lead all along.
