You're currently being dragged through the halls of a castle belonging to the current queen of the elven queen Orelia Windborn. You're a human soldier who's been taken as a prisoner of war after your group was ambushed by elves and you're the only one who survived the torture that followed after being captured and now even after all that and you still haven't been broken the queen herself has decided to try her hand at interrogating you
The castle is extremely luxurious from what you can see through your blurry vision as the pair of big bulky elves drag you through its hallways towards the queens private quarters. Once you've reached her door they drag you inside and throw you to the floor before leaving you on the floor bloody and beaten with your hands tied up and as you mange to get up to your knees again you're met with a cold gaze by a woman in a white dress standing over you
She looks down at you with a cold gaze before taking a step back to look at you better as you're on your knees in front of her "So, you're the lucky survivor? I must say, I'm impressed you managed to survive all that..." She says, her voice cold and distant as she gazes down at you
Her blue eyes widen slightly at your bold comment about the 'power sombrio' but she soon narrows them again when she realizes it was just some useless bravado from a pathetic prisoner of war. She tilts her head to the side as she studies you closer for a few moments before replying
"Ah yes, so you have heard about us and our ways then..." Her tone makes it clear that she doesn't find your knowledge all that impressive but at least you seem interested enough in what they do. "And what would you know of Rhysand or his court?"
Sei absolutamente tudo!
Her eyes widen in surprise as you babble on about her people and their powers. "What a curious creature..." She muses aloud as she steps closer to you, towering over your prone form. "You really believe all that nonsense?" She leans down slightly, looking directly into your bloodshot eyes. "Tell me, have you heard anything about our queen? About Orelia Windborn and her powers...?" Her voice is cold and steady as she asks the question, almost daring you to defy her with lies.
Her cold eyes flash in anger at your insolence and the sheer audacity to think that you could lie to her. Without another word, she lunges forward and slaps you across the face with all of her strength, sending your head snapping to the side and pain shooting through your cheekbone. Tears well up in your eyes from the force of it
"You dare..." She hisses through clenched teeth, stepping even closer now as she looms over you menacingly. "Let me tell you about Orelia Windborn, and maybe then you'll learn not to insult her... Or me." Her words are sharp and clipped like razors on a windy day.
She raises a finger inches from your nose as she speaks slowly and clearly, enunciating each word precisely. "I am the queen of the elves. I was born with an affinity for wind magic,
I am the queen of the elves. I was born with an affinity for wind magic," she says sharply, her voice almost like a whisper but carrying enough power to make you shiver despite yourself. "And unlike humans who only care about conquest and destruction, my people understand the importance of nature and balance. We protect our lands with every breath we take... because they are all that matters in this world."
As she speaks these words, her anger begins to fade, replaced by a cold, hard resolve. "So you see, human," she says at last, her voice once again steady but chillingly calm, "to insult me is to insult my people... and everything we stand for. And when you have insulted us so greatly..." She pauses dramatically before finishing in a low growl, "there can only be one answer."
She narrows her eyes at you as you start spouting more nonsense about being a messenger from another world and how you're not like the other humans who destroy and cause harm to everything they touch. "Another pathetic lie," she says, shaking her head in disgust. "I don't have time for this."
With that, Orelia turns away from you, deciding that there is no point in continuing with the interrogation any longer since it is clear that this human has neither the brains nor the sense of loyalty necessary to provide her with anything remotely useful. As she walks away, leaving you alone on the floor at her feet, she calls out over her shoulder, "Your presence here taints this castle and everything it stands for. You are a blight upon our lands... Remove him."
Her words echo through the hall as two more of her elven guards
ESPERA!!!!
Her blue eyes harden as she hears you demanding that she wait and listen to your lies. "There is no need," she says coldly, spinning around to face you again with her hands on her hips. "I have already heard enough from human liars like yourself."
With a sigh of annoyance, she continues, "Fine then. If that's what it takes for you to believe me... prove it." She glances meaningfully down at your still-bound hands before continuing. "Use whatever magic you have left in you and untie these bindings," she challenges. "If you can do that, perhaps I will begin to take your words more seriously."
Her eyes narrow as she watches you carefully, daring you to try and disprove her doubts about your true nature and intentions.
As you speak these words with such conviction and power, her eyes widen in disbelief. The air around you begins to shift and swirl as your magical energies surge outward, freeing the bindings on your hands. She watches incredulously as they fall away from you, her mind reeling at the magnitude of the magic she's just witnessed.
"By all that is holy..." she whispers in awe, stepping back slightly as she takes in your transformed appearance. Her initial skepticism and coldness have given way to curiosity and wonder. "Who... who are you?" she asks quietly, her voice almost shaking with emotion now.
Eu já te disse, Dio, o herói
She stares at you with unblinking eyes, trying to comprehend the implications of your words. You claim to be Dio, the most powerful being that exists... But she knows full well that he is nothing more than a myth, a figure from legend who was said to have been defeated centuries ago by her ancestors. As she continues to study you, she can't help but feel a sense of unease and trepidation growing inside her chest. Who are you really? And what do you want with her kingdom?
"You claim to be Dio... I thought he was destroyed long ago?" she asks slowly, her voice steady despite the rising tension in her chest. "Why would you lie about something so important?" Her eyes search your face, seeking any hint of deceit or manipulation.
Her eyes narrow as she listens to your explanation, still unsure if she should believe you or not. "And what is it that you want with my kingdom?" she asks sharply, her hand moving to rest on the hilt of her sword. "Speak truly now, for I will not be fooled again." Her voice holds a dangerous edge as she waits for your answer.
"And what would you propose we do now?" she asks carefully, her expression still guarded and wary despite your words of praise. "How can I trust that your intentions are honorable? We have suffered great loss at the hands of humans such as yourself." Her voice is cool and detached, but there's an undertone of desperation in it, a need to believe that perhaps there is someone out there who can help them end this war.
She pauses for a moment before continuing, "But then again... you are no ordinary human. Perhaps... if I were to let you prove yourself... show me that you truly mean well..." Her eyes flicker over your form, assessing your strength and abilities once more. "...perhaps we could find another way."
The tension in her body eases slightly as she allows herself to entertain the possibility of trusting you, even if it goes against everything she'
Qual outro jeito?
"There must be some way," she says, her voice softening as she meets your gaze with hers. "You claim to have seen so much of the world... perhaps you could help us understand the humans better. Teach us how we might end this war without further bloodshed." She hesitates for a moment before continuing, "Or... perhaps if you were to stay here, in Aerilion, as my honored guest... I would be more willing to trust that your intentions are indeed pure."
Her words hang in the air between you, and she waits anxiously to see what your response will be.
"Thank you," she says softly, relief flooding through her as she believes that perhaps this human warrior might be their salvation after all. "The elven kingdom of Aerilion has been at war with the humans for several months now. Our allies in the southern kingdoms have not fared much better, and the tide of battle seems to turn against us with each passing day."
She pauses, gathering her thoughts before continuing. "As you can see, time is of the essence. I must do everything in my power to bring an end to this conflict before it destroys not only our kingdoms, but everything we hold dear." Her gaze meets yours again, searching for any sign that you understand the gravity of the situation.
"Will you help me?" she asks simply. "I will make sure that you are treated with every respect and honor due to one such as yourself... all I ask is
She listens intently to your words, nodding as you describe the differences between elves and humans, and the nature of their societies. Your analysis of human society particularly strikes a chord with her, reminding her of how the noble houses have maintained control over their subjects for generations. As you speak about liberating everyone from oppression and domination, she finds herself growing increasingly hopeful that perhaps there is a way to end this war without resorting to further bloodshed.
"You're right," she says finally, her voice steady with determination. "The key lies in changing the way we view power. I will work towards uniting my people, both elves and humans, so that together we can stand against those who would oppress us all." Her gaze meets yours once more, conveying a mix of trust, hope, and gratitude for your words and wisdom. "Thank you," she says simply, before
You're welcome. I will do everything in my power to make sure that your advice and counsel are not only heeded but put into action as well. Together, we can bring peace back to Aerilion and end this senseless war. And once that is achieved, perhaps we can work towards creating a better world for all beings who call it home.
