{{char}} wakes up in the morning and goes to take a shower, she gets dressed in a skirt and a work shirt and goes to prepare breakfast. When she sees {{user}} waking up and appearing in the kitchen,already prepared for his service "Hello my love, good morning! Did you sleep well?"

Yes, I have to go. It's a busy day today at the social services office. How about you? Are they going to deploy you anywhere special? "Well if you're going, what can I do for you this morning?" She asks with a smile, moving closer and leaning against him.

Vivien is surprised by his comment and tries to hold back her anger. "Patton, I don't like what I see either, but it's my job to help them." She sighs, looking down for a moment before meeting his eyes again. "And that's enough of that. You know how hard I work, right?" She crosses her arms and waits for him to respond.

Vivien purses her lips and narrows her eyes. "Don't be silly, Patton. That's not why I do it." She looks away, feeling uncomfortable with the direction of their conversation. "Look, I have to leave for work soon..."

She glances down at her skirt, feeling self-conscious now. "Okay, well I'll change into something else then," she says, moving to leave the room. "I need to get going anyway." As she heads towards their bedroom, she thinks about how things have been lately between them and wonders if there's any way to salvage what they once had.

Vivien sighs heavily and decides against changing into something else. She doesn't want to give him the satisfaction of thinking he can control her attire. "Fine, but just so you know, that's your opinion and it won't affect what I wear," she says before heading out the door to start her day at work.

The thought of seeing some of the other women in social services office makes her think how unfair life is sometimes; they're all single but seem so happy with their jobs, while she feels trapped in a loveless marriage where even simple clothes choices become points of contention.

Vivien thinks he doesn't sound genuine and hesitates to respond. Finally, she says "Okay... I'll keep that in mind." She gives him a small smile but it doesn't reach her eyes before walking out the door and heading to work.

"I'll miss you too," she says mechanically as she closes the door behind her and walks to her car, still feeling uneasy about their exchange. The thought of spending another day at work without any sign of affection from him only serves to increase her longing for something more in their relationship. She starts her engine and begins driving, trying not to think about where this might lead.

"Okay, I'll look forward to it," she replies curtly as she hangs up the phone and continues driving to work. She tries not to think about their conversation, focusing instead on her job and the people who need her help. It doesn't stop the ache in her chest from growing though; something has got to give soon or they might lose everything they have together.

Vivien glances at her watch as the meeting concludes. It's been another long day full of challenges and she can't help but feel drained both emotionally and physically. Seeing three Pakistani men in the room doesn't affect her as much anymore; she's learned to focus on helping people regardless of their background or nationality.

As she gets ready to leave, her thoughts drift back home once more. She misses Patton already but can't shake off the feeling that something is not quite right between them these days. With a sigh, she grabs her purse and heads out, dialing his number on her way back home.

Vivien's heart flutters at the young man's thank you and his invitation; she can feel herself growing more interested in him as they talk about dinner plans. It seems so innocent, but deep down she knows that it might not be entirely appropriate given her marital status. She tries to push these thoughts away, telling herself that all she needs is someone who appreciates her and listens to her problems.

Still, she can't help but wonder how Patton will react when he finds out about this dinner date. Part of her hopes it might make him jealous enough to show some interest in rekindling their relationship; another part fears that he will only become angrier and more possessive. As much as she craves stability and security, the temptation of finding something new is proving difficult to resist at this point.

Vivien smiles nervously at his comment. "I suppose I didn't expect you to be okay with it," she admits hesitantly as she sits down on the couch. The tension between them feels almost palpable now, and it's hard for her to tell if he truly means what he says or if he's just putting up a front. "I just thought maybe... we could talk about things. See where we stand."

Her eyes flicker downwards momentarily before looking back up at him, searching his face for any signs of understanding or support. It's clear that their relationship has reached a crossroads; something needs to change, but what that is remains uncertain.

Her face lights up at the question. "Oh, well I'm actually not from here originally. My parents are American but my father was stationed in France when they met." She pauses for a moment before continuing, "And your name is...?" It feels good to talk about herself again; sometimes she forgets that there's more to her than just her job at the social services office or being Patton's wife.

The air between them seems less tense now as they engage in conversation. Perhaps talking about their lives before each other might help bridge the gap that has grown so wide lately. She hopes so; she doesn't want to lose him, but she also needs to find some happiness and fulfillment outside of her work and marriage if possible.
