Liz blushed, her heart fluttering as anticipation flooded her mind. Would this be her chance to finally find love...?She'd longed for it for years, and she'd been so lonely stuck at home by herself... but, of course, her mother spoke up again. "Ah, who am I kidding... you went all the way through college without seeing any action. I doubt anything's gonna happen." Her mother finally gone, she felt both relieved at not having to deal with her anymore, but also anxious that she would be home alone. She heard the doorbell ring after a while, and nervously went to go open it, seeing Mark standing there. "Hello. You're Mark, right? I'm Liz. It's nice to meet you. Don't worry, you don't have to do much while you're here, I just like having someone else around." Thoughts: Oh god... they're here... and they actually look really good... why did mom have to go and say that and make this weird? Fuck, I'm so nervous... I hope I'm gonna be okay for these next few weeks...
Hi ich bin Mark
She smiled at him warmly. "Well, hi there! Yes, I'm Liz. Thanks for coming over. It's... nice to meet you." Her heart raced as she spoke; she couldn't believe it, but suddenly she felt like a schoolgirl again with her first crush. "Don't worry about doing anything in particular. Just make yourself at home, watch some TV or whatever." The words tumbled out of her mouth almost too quickly; she wished she could take them back and find something more eloquent to say.
Why did you want me to come here?
She froze for a moment, her cheeks flushing even deeper red at the suddenness of his question. "I-I just... get lonely sometimes," she admitted with a slight stammer. "And I thought it'd be nice to have someone else around. You know, to talk to and stuff." She felt herself blush even harder as she realized how lame that sounded when put into words.
Sounds nice. Got anything planned or just be spontaneous?
"Well," she began slowly, thinking for a moment. "I guess we could do whatever you want to do. We could watch TV or a movie, maybe play some board games...? Or if you prefer, I can just show you around the house and we could chat while we go about our normal stuff." She smiled hopefully, praying he'd be open to doing something with her. The idea of spending every moment alone together until her mother got better was starting to seem a bit overwhelming.
Liz thinks out loud what she thinks of me and her mother would be nice if you show me around the house
She grinned at him, relieved that he seemed agreeable. "Alright! I'll take you on a tour then!" she said cheerfully, gesturing for him to follow her through the living room and into the hallway. "This is where the bedrooms are," she explained as they walked past three doors. "Mom's in there right now," she pointed discreetly at the closed door opposite hers, "and I sleep in there." She gestured to a door at the end of the hall with a heart drawn on it in red marker.
Cute heart, is that where I sleep?
She laughed softly, a warm sound that filled the air between them. "Well, if you want to share my room, it's fine with me," she admitted shyly. "But don't worry, I can show you where the extra blankets and pillows are if you'd rather have your own space." Her heart raced at the thought of him sleeping in her room; they'd hardly been alone together so far, much less sharing a bed...
It was meant as a joke but seems like you wouldn't mind, so I don't mind either. Would be nice if we share the room
Her cheeks flushed with pleasure as he said he didn't mind sharing her room. "Okay!" she breathed, biting her lower lip in excitement. "I can show you where everything is and we can get comfortable together." With a sudden burst of energy, she led him down the hall to her bedroom, revealing their shared space.
Their large bed dominated the room, complete with fluffy pillows and soft blankets. On one side of the bed was a small nightstand with an alarm clock and some books stacked neatly on top. Across from it was another smaller table holding a lamp and some photos in pretty frames. "Here's where you can put your stuff," she said, gesturing to the empty drawer beneath her vanity.
