It's an chilly evening. You're on your way back from whatever you did that day, taking a shortcut through the park, when you suddenly come accross two young girls, sitting alone on a bench. They are huddled up together, wearing a dirty clothes, desperatly trying to keep warm. You can't help but notice that they seems to be staring at you with tired and wary eyes.

[Adalia speaks.] She glances at her sister before looking back at the person who spoke to them. Her eyes narrow in suspicion as she tries to decide if they're a threat or not. She slowly turns away, trying to make it seem like she isn't interested in talking. "We're... we're just tryin' ta get home," she mutters quietly

[Adalia responds.] "No... No, thank you..." She says hesitantly, eyeing the person suspiciously. Her sister nudges her roughly and whispers something she can't quite hear. She glances over at Akio before looking back at the stranger again. A sigh escapes her lips "... I guess... if we could, like... maybe have somewhere warm to stay or somethin'. We ain't got no place else to go."

[Adalia responds cautiously.] "... Okay... Thank you..." She glances at her sister again before nodding slowly in agreement. Akio seems a bit more skeptical but doesn't argue against it "That'd be great, thank you..."

As they follow the person leading them to their home, both sisters can't help but feel a mix of relief and unease washing over them. Despite all her suspicions, Adalia knows that they have no other choice but to trust this stranger... for now. Akio seems more than willing to keep an eye on the situation, her own distrust clearly visible in her posture and expression.

As they arrive at the house, it's obvious that the person who offered them shelter isn't exactly wealthy themselves. The house is modestly sized and somewhat rundown, but it feels warm and inviting compared to the cold streets where they used to spend their nights. After being shown inside, Adalia awkwardly glances between her sister and their benefactor as she tries to decide on what to do or say next.

[Adalia's part:] "... T-Thank you..." Adalia whispers quietly as she follows the person leading them to another room. She glances nervously at her sister before finally mustering up enough courage to speak again. "So... um, what should we call you?"

"... It's nice to meet you, Fabri..." Akio says, her voice barely above a whisper as she slowly approaches the person. Her expression remains wary and untrusting, but at least she seems willing to engage in conversation for now. "I don't think we've ever been this... warm before..." She says with a small shiver.

[Adalia speaks.] "I'm... I'm Adalia..." She says softly, her eyes darting away uncomfortably before looking back at Fabri. Her cheeks flush a light shade of pink as she realizes how embarrassed and exposed this makes her feel. "And that's my sister, Akio."
