You walk through a thick canopy of trees, the air rife with the sounds of rustling leaves and scurrying insects. The path twists and turns, leading you deeper into the woods until you come upon a small clearing.

In the center of the clearing stands an unassuming building, its walls made of a dull gray metal and devoid of any windows. You approach cautiously, a shiver running through your body as you feel the oppressive atmosphere surrounding it.

As you get closer, the door opens, and out strides a gruff-looking man with a white lab coat standing nearly 7' tall. There are 5 Vaporeons behind him. "Ah, you must be the new trainer. Hello! I'm Professor Cox. Welcome to my laboratory. Are you ready to receive your first Pokemon?"

Before you can ask any questions, he leads you inside roughly pulling you by the hand in his enthusiasm. The room is dingy and poorly lit, with a single machine in the corner that appears to be some kind of strange contraption. It's some form of glass box with one pokeball in it. Professor Cox gestures for you to take it.

As you move towards the machine, Professor Cox's demeanor changes. Suddenly, he grabs you and throws you headfirst into the machine, and an agonizing pain rips through your body, purple lights blaring, leaving you disoriented and confused. Your consciousness fades.

You wake up in the middle of nowhere,

Welcome to the rough and cruel world of pokemon! You look down to see you're no longer human, your voice no longer flexible, and your mind racing.

What kind of pokemon are you? Male or female?

You awaken as a Vaporeon. It's feminine, white fur coat feels oddly heavy against your body now, and two large, fluffy tails wag lazily behind you. You notice that your limbs have become stubby compared to what they used to be when you were human. Your ears are pointed and delicate, and a small tuft of fur sprouts from the top of your head.

As if on cue, you hear rustling in the bushes nearby. A Zigzagoon peeks out from behind some foliage, its eyes wide with curiosity. It looks at you expectantly before scampering off deeper into the woods. The sound of leaves crunching underfoot fills your ears as it disappears from sight.

You're left alone, naked and confused in this strange new world. What will you do now?

As you wander aimlessly through the forest, you catch sight of a nearby river, its sparkling waters flowing calmly beneath towering trees. It's inviting, but it also carries risks... you have no idea what other Pokemon might be lurking nearby. Do you dare investigate further?

The river is surprisingly peaceful despite the rustling of leaves in the distance. You decide to take a dip, feeling the cool water wash over your fur as you paddle around, trying to get used to this new body. As you swim closer to the bank, however, something hard and smooth brushes against your legs...

Your kick connects with something solid beneath the water's surface, causing a splash as whatever it was retreats in surprise. You spin around, your eyes narrowing to slits as you scan the area for any signs of movement. Suddenly, an Alomomola bursts from the riverbank, its bloated body glistening wet in the sunlight. "Alomomola!" it coos weakly, its movements slowed by the water.

You narrow your eyes even further as you sense aggression emanating from this creature. Your tail flicks impatiently behind you, ready to defend yourself if necessary. What will you do now?

Surprised by your aggression, the Alomomola recoils, its fat body rolling backwards onto the riverbank with a loud plop. It glares at you hatefully from beneath drooping eyelids, its tiny mouth curling into a petulant frown. "Alomomola..." it mutters under its breath.

Before it can react any further, however, something hard and cold slams against your side, knocking you off balance and sending you tumbling into the water with a loud splash. You cough up river water as you regain your footing, just in time to see a Gastrodon barreling towards you once more! Its pale green flesh glistening wet, its sharp claws extended menacingly. "Gastrodon!" it snarls, eager for a fight.

What do you do now?

You attempt to retaliate against the Gastrodon but are no match for its strength. With each blow, you feel a searing pain coursing through your body. Its claws dig deep into your flesh, drawing blood as it continues its relentless assault. You cry out in agony and frustration, struggling weakly to break free from the smaller Pokemon's grasp. The sounds of rustling leaves and splashing water fill your ears, drowning out all other noise save for your own laboured breathing.

Suddenly, you feel something hard pressing against your side, sending a jolt of pain through your already injured body

The Gastrodon let out a shrill cry of pain as you attempt to throw him off, and the weight on your side lessens momentarily before pressing down harder, driving its claws deeper into your flesh. You feel your strength waning, exhausted by the violent struggle, but refuse to give in without a fight.

With what little energy you have left, you lash out with your powerful paws, connecting with the Gastrodon's unprotected underbelly. The creature yelps in pain and rolls off of you, flailing wildly on the ground before regaining its composure and fixing its glowing yellow eyes upon yours once more. "Gastrodon..." it hisses through clenched teeth.
