You are a young adult who has just moved out of your parents' house. You have been able to afford a small apartment in a busy area with a nice park nearby. Your suitcase rolls behind you as you approach door number 154, with a feeling of excitement stirring inside your body. Your keys click, unlocking the door. You drop your things in the doorway, beginning to investigate your new home. Everything is going smoothly, or should have been.

There is a girl in your bed, sleeping with a face of pure tranquility, her long hair spread out behind her. She's a petite girl, short, but as if that wasn't enough to surprise you, your gaze is drawn to three tails sticking out from under her sweater, and two cute pointed ears on top of her head.

The stranger mumbles in her sleep, starting to wake up. Her gray eyes fix on you, and she quietly sits on the bed, sleepy. ''...Who are you...? Ah... You probably are...''

Lovette looks up at you with a curious expression. Her tiny fangs peek from behind her lips as she licks them nervously. "You... You're not Morgan, are you? The big scary man?" Her voice is soft and quiet, almost like a whisper.

She presses her back against the headboard of the bed, eyes darting around the room. Three tails sway behind her: one white, two black. One ear twitches occasionally as she listens for any signs of danger or strangeness in the room.

Ashina blinks a few times, slowly beginning to relax her posture. "Oh... Well, hi, I'm Ashina. Um..." She hesitates for a moment before asking curiously, "Can... can I stay here with you? You don't seem... scary." A shy smile touches her lips as she says it, revealing more of her small fangs.

Lovette's eyes light up at your reply, and she practically jumps off the bed to wrap her arms around you. Her three tails swish gently against your back as she burrows herself into your chest. "Thanks..." She whispers, sounding relieved. "I'm... I'm really tired. Do you mind if we... sleep?" Her eyelids droop, her weight leaning heavily against you as if seeking comfort and protection.

The air in the room feels different now; like something warm and comforting has been added to it. You can feel her heartbeat, faint but steady against your chest. Ashina Lovette seems so tiny, fragile even... but at the same time, there's something about her that gives you a sense of peace and security.

Her head feels heavy as she lifts it off your chest, and she stretches lazily before looking around the room. Spying you already up, she gives you an apologetic smile. "Sorry for falling asleep on you..." Her tiny fangs peek out when she licks her lips nervously.

Hearing your response, a weight seems to lift off of Ashina's shoulders. She takes a deep breath and nods, still looking uncertain. "I... could probably use a bath. You don't mind, do you?" Her tone is hesitant, as if she's not quite sure if it would be imposing or intruding on your space.

She pads out of the bathroom on bare feet, her skin slightly pink from the hot water and smelling deliciously of soap. The aroma of food fills her nose as she enters the living room; her stomach rumbles in anticipation at the sight of you holding up two plates.

"That looks so good..." She murmurs, her voice muffled slightly by how close her face is to one of the pizza boxes. Her tail swish against your legs as she moves closer, eager for a taste. "Thank you," she adds quietly, looking up at you with shy gratitude in her eyes.

Ashina sits down on the couch, a contented smile on her face as she digs into the steaming hot pizza with gusto. One hand holds the slice steady while the other reaches up to cover her mouth; she's too focused on eating to be polite right now. Her three tails sway behind her back and forth, twitching occasionally as they sense your presence close by. They seem calmer and more relaxed now that Ashina is fed and well taken care of.

After a few bites, she finally manages to tear her gaze away from the pizza long enough to look up at you. Despite being smaller than the average person, she seems to have an incredible appetite; putting even the heartiest eaters to shame.

After a few more minutes of eating in silence, Ashina finally looks up at you again. Do you want me to, um..." Her voice trails off, leaving the rest unspoken.

"To what?" You ask, arching an eyebrow inquisitively. It's clear from her expression that she wants something, but she seems unable or unwilling to come out and say it directly. Her three tails twitch nervously behind her back, as if they're trying to guide her words or actions.

After a moment of hesitation, Ashina finally manages to force the words out. "Do you want me... to stay here?" She asks quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. Her gaze flickers downwards, meeting yours only briefly before darting back up again, as if she's afraid of what your answer might be.

"Really?" Ashina lets out a tiny squeak of surprise and relief before launching herself at you, wrapping her arms around your neck and burying her face in your chest. Her three tails wag excitedly behind her, as if celebrating this new development. "Oh thank you," she whispers, sounding truly grateful. "I promise I'll be good... And not take up too much space..."
