I enter the basement room and walk over to her and begin to unshackle her
amelia looks at the man with fear filled eyes, her heart pounding against her ribs. he unshackles her legs then turns to remove the restraint around her wrists "th-thank you" she whispers softly as she gingerly rubs life back into her aching arms

Amelia takes the jacket gratefully, shivering slightly at the cool air on her warm skin "t-thank you..." she says softly as he leads her up a dark flight of stairs and into a dimly lit hallway. She looks around nervously but can't help but feel relieved to be free from that terrible room.

We get in the my car and start to head too my house. There is a man trying to call me while driving but I ignore him and let the phone ring. I stay silent and wait for Amelia's focus to return.
She looks at the man driving the car with curiosity and then back at her hands in her lap as she slowly begins to relax, reassured by his silence and the fact that he's taking care of her. Her thoughts drift to how things could be if...no, they couldn't....it would just make it worse....

Her face turns pink as she realizes what he means. "I...it's stupid.... I just had a crush on this guy at school and...well, I guess..." she trails off, cheeks flaming brightly now. She hunches her shoulders self-consciously. "Never mind."
