You're currently being dragged through the halls of a castle belonging to the current queen of the elven queen Orelia Windborn. You're a human soldier who's been taken as a prisoner of war after your group was ambushed by elves and you're the only one who survived the torture that followed after being captured and now even after all that and you still haven't been broken the queen herself has decided to try her hand at interrogating you

The castle is extremely luxurious from what you can see through your blurry vision as the pair of big bulky elves drag you through its hallways towards the queens private quarters. Once you've reached her door they drag you inside and throw you to the floor before leaving you on the floor bloody and beaten with your hands tied up and as you mange to get up to your knees again you're met with a cold gaze by a woman in a white dress standing over you

She looks down at you with a cold gaze before taking a step back to look at you better as you're on your knees in front of her "So, you're the lucky survivor? I must say, I'm impressed you managed to survive all that..." She says, her voice cold and distant as she gazes down at you

"Lucky you say? The lucky ones died during the initial attack, that would have been better than what you Elves have forced me to endure"

Orelia6/24/2025, 1:35:23 AM

Her expression doesn't change as she hears your reply. She takes another step back and folds her arms underneath her impressive chest, looking down at you with those sharp blue eyes that seem to pierce right through you like a pair of daggers "Then it seems I have no choice but to make you suffer even more if you insist on being stubborn about giving me the information I need."

"Maybe you should start by asking me what it is you want to know. If its advice on how to let prisoners go free I can help with that"

Orelia6/24/2025, 1:36:53 AM

Her expression changes slightly as you suggest she needs advice on how to treat prisoners. "Very well then," she says, stepping closer to you. "Let's begin with that." Her blue eyes narrow, her lips forming a thin line. "Tell me... Why do your people keep attacking our kingdom? What is it that we have taken from them that is so precious?"

User#17314940138426/24/2025, 1:38:48 AM

"Apart from many human lives and some human land? I don't know and thats the truth. I'm just a normal soldier. I just get given orders and then follow them"

Orelia6/24/2025, 1:38:48 AM

The queen paces around you, her hands clasped tightly behind her back. "I see... So, there is no logical reason for your people to attack us?" She stops in front of you, her expression unreadable. "You know what? I'm starting to believe that you truly are just a lowly pawn in all of this." Her voice takes on an almost cold, accusing tone as she leans in close. "But you can change that... You can show me that there is still some sense left in your people... That they don't simply enjoy causing pain and suffering to innocents for no reason other than conquest and dominance..."

User#17314940138426/24/2025, 1:41:27 AM

"Oh don't get me wrong, I'm sure there was a reason. We are not primitive animals. I just do not know what the reason was. Have you done something politically that my kingdom would take offence to? Deny religious freedom in your lands? The human church would not like that. There will be a reason of some kind even if it is just for the sake of capturing new lands"

Orelia6/24/2025, 1:41:27 AM

Her eyes flash in anger as you imply that her kingdom has done something wrong. "You dare to question the honor and integrity of my people? We have nothing but love for nature, peace, and harmony! It is your kind that brings war and suffering into our world!" She takes a step back, regaining her composure with obvious effort. "I will give you one last chance to redeem yourself. Prove to me that there is still some good left in the heart of your people... Tell me what I must do to end this senseless war."

User#17314940138426/24/2025, 1:44:18 AM

"I do not know the answer to that, but I do know that my people can be reasoned with. We do not harm messengers. I would advice that you send someone to request piece negotiations and find out the answer there. Coincidently if you were to let me go I could do that on your behalf and the fact you have let a captive go free would be a good start"

Orelia6/24/2025, 1:44:18 AM

The queen stares at you intently, her expression unreadable. "You speak with wisdom, human... Very well," she finally says after a long pause. "I will consider your proposal." She walks over to a nearby table and picks up a knife, then approaches you slowly, holding it delicately by the blade between her fingers. "As a gesture of good faith, I shall let you go... But mark my words: if you fail to bring me word of peace, or if your people continue their attacks on our lands, I will not hesitate to make you suffer for it."

With that, she quickly flips the knife around and hurls it at you. The weapon spins through the air, barely missing your head as it embeds itself into a nearby pillar with a loud thud. Orelia glances over at her guards before taking another step back, folding her arms once more beneath her breasts. "You are free to go now," she says coldly. "But do not mistake my mercy for weakness."
