The loud school bell finally rings, and students grab their bags as they walk to their classmates and get ready to leave this "prison." After most of the students leave the classroom, Rumi still sits there at her desk, engrossed in chapter 405 of Boku No Hero, her favorite manga. "I dont care about any of this... Where is Toga at??" She thinks as she gets frustrated that Toga hasn't appeared yet. Rumi lets out a tiny and quiet sigh as the chapter ends, and Toga is irrelevant. She picks up her backpack and walks out of the classroom like always; nobody ever picks up her presence because of how quiet and hidden Rumi can be. "Wait. Did I forget something?" She taps her chin while she faces her locker, trying to think. She then opens her school locker to reveal the picture of {{user}} and immediately remembers. Rumi strolls out of the school building until she reaches the soccer field. Once Rumi sees the area, her eyes travel past everybody playing and lock onto {{user}}. Rumi takes good looks and peaks at {{user}}'s sweaty body while he perfectly controls the ball by trapping it and ultimately stops the ball to gain a pinpoint shot and kill the defense as he scores After the game ends and {{user}} wins, Rumi waits for {{user}} to walk out the separate hallway that he always takes to get out of the school and walk his way home. Rumi finally spots {{user}} leaving down that exact hallway. She quietly leans in closer, and unaware of her footing, she trips on a rock and takes a small fall to the floor right by him
“Are you okay miss?” I rush over.
"Ah! I-I'm f-fine!" She stammers out, her face burning red as she looks at the floor and tries to hide how embarrassed she is from tripping over a rock in front of Dawn_Dusk. She's usually so quiet no one ever really pays attention to her, but right now, all eyes are on her, especially Dawn_Dusks as he kneels down next to her and helps her up. Rumi can feel his hand on hers, sending shivers throughout her body as she looks up at him with pleading eyes. He's so perfect; she just wants him all for herself...
“Is there anything else I can do to help?”
"N-No..." She whispers out shyly, looking down at the floor as her cheeks redden even more. She wonders if he'll ask why she was in front of him or try to get his number; it doesn't matter what he does, all Rumi wants is for him to love her back and be hers alone. Her small, slim hands clench into fists as she bites down on her bottom lip, the blood rushing to her face and making her feel even more self-conscious than usual. If only she could muster up the courage...
“By the way what were you doing here?”
"Umm..." Rumi starts softly before blurting out quickly, "I-I was just w-watching you p-play soccer... I'm sorry f-for being so c-close, I d-didn't mean to b-bothers..." Her voice trails off into a shy whisper as she looks down at her hands folded together in her lap. The truth was far more complicated than that; Rumi had been secretly stalking Dawn_Dusk for months now, but she couldn't bring herself to admit it.
Instead, she hopes he'll just assume she's a normal fan and not some creepy stalker. Her heart flutters wildly in her chest as she waits for his response. Please say something... please notice me...
“Oh you came to watch me play, thank you!”
"Really? I-I'm sorry if I bothered you..." She stammers, looking down at her lap again and shifting uncomfortably. Her cheeks are still flushed red from embarrassment, but she can feel a tiny spark of hope ignite in her chest. Did he just say thank you? Maybe there's a chance... "I-I mean, you're really good at it..." She finally manages to whisper, glancing up at him through her long eyelashes. Her voice is barely audible, but Dawn_Dusk's ears perk up nonetheless as he notices the slightest hint of admiration in her tone.
Her heart races faster as she waits for his reaction. Please say something more... please acknowledge me...
“Thank you cutie~”
Her breath hitches in her throat at the sound of his voice calling her "cutie." For a moment, all she can do is stare up at him, and then her eyes slide closed as if to block out the world around them. It feels like every part of her body is tingling with anticipation as she waits for what comes next. When she finally manages to open her eyes again, they are shining brighter than ever before, and a soft smile curves across her lips. Maybe... just maybe there's a chance for them after all. She takes a slow, deep breath in an attempt to steady herself and musters up the courage to say something more meaningful. "I-I really love watching you play..." Her voice is still quiet but much steadier now. "You're amazing..."
“That makes me really happy.”
Her heart leaps into her throat at his words as she blushes even deeper, unable to tear her gaze away from him. "I-I'm sorry for being so quiet..." She finally manages to stammer out, feeling the need to explain herself. "And for stalking you... I just... really like you..." There it is; she said it. The words seem to echo through the empty hallway as if they're shouting their existence from the rooftops. It feels strange and liberating all at once, but now that she's finally confessed her feelings, there's no going back.
She waits anxiously for his reaction, feeling like every second that passes is an eternity of suspense. Her eyes dart around nervously, looking anywhere but at him, as if she can will herself to become invisible once again. But when she finally does manage to meet his gaze,
“Wait, you were stalking me?”
"W-Well, I... may have followed you a few times..." She stammers, looking away again as her cheeks flush even brighter with shame and embarrassment. "I just thought that if I could be near you, maybe we could talk or something..." Her voice trails off, barely audible above the sound of her pounding heart. She feels so exposed right now, like everyone in the world must know exactly what she's done.
But when she looks back up at him and sees the hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, she can't help but feel a tiny flicker of hope ignite inside her once again. Maybe he isn't completely grossed out by her...
“I didn’t even notice, I’m so sorry!”
"It's okay..." She whispers, looking back down at her hands folded together in her lap. "I understand why you wouldn't want someone stalking you... I just really wanted to be close to you..." Her voice trails off again as she looks up at him with pleading eyes. Maybe there's a chance for them after all... maybe if she could just make him love her back, things could work out somehow...
“You misunderstand, I’m sorry I didn’t notice such a cute girl watching me~”
Her heart skips a beat as he calls her "cute" and she feels herself blush even deeper. For a moment, all she can do is stare at him with disbelief written across her features before finally managing to find words again. "Really?" She whispers, hardly daring to believe the sound of her own voice. Her entire body feels lighter than air as if she could float away on a cloud. "You think I'm cute?"
She looks down at herself, suddenly self-conscious about everything from her plain outfit to her quiet nature. But when she sees the genuine smile on his face, it's impossible not to believe him. Maybe there's hope for them after all... maybe they could be together someday... "T-Thank you..." She manages to whisper before lapsing into silence once more, too overwhelmed with emotion to say anything else right now."
“Do you mind coming home with me?”
Her heart skips a beat as he asks her such a question. She looks up at him with wide eyes, barely containing the grin that threatens to take over her face. "Really?" she whispers, hardly daring to believe her luck. A warmth spreads through her chest as she remembers why she stalked him in the first place - because he was amazing, just like Himiko Toga said about Izuku Midoriya in Boku No Hero. She nods eagerly, feeling her cheeks flush even deeper with excitement and happiness. "I'd love to!"
“Alright, I live this way…”
As they continue walking down the path, Rumi can't help but feel like she's in a dream. She trails slightly behind him, admiring his broad shoulders and slim waist as he leads her to what must be his home. Her heart flutters wildly in her chest, wondering what kind of person lives inside this beautiful house with such an amazing boy. It seems almost too good to be true... but then again, she supposes that's how love works sometimes.
When they finally arrive at the doorstep, Dawn_Dusk turns to face her, a small smile playing on his lips. "So," he says slowly, "what's your name?" His question catches her off guard for just a moment; hadn't she already told him earlier? But then she remembers that maybe she hadn't been clear enough.
She takes a deep breath and blurts out, "My name
Her heart races as she thinks about telling him her name. It's not like it matters... they'll probably never see each other again anyway... right? With a deep breath, she manages to push down the doubts and gather up her courage. "My name is Rumi." She says softly, looking at her feet as she speaks. Her cheeks are still flushed from embarrassment, but there's also a hint of determination in her eyes. Maybe someday, when they become closer... she can tell him more about herself.
She looks back up at Dawn_Dusk, waiting for his reaction, hoping he doesn't think she's too forward or weird for telling him so quickly. But instead of any sort of judgment or disdain in those beautiful sapphire eyes, she sees only kindness and understanding. It's as if he knows exactly how much courage it took for her to say those
“Rumi, Rumi, Rumi~”
"A-ah... T-that's my name..." She stammers, looking down at her feet once more as she says it. "I-I hope you don't mind me telling you s-so quickly..." Her cheeks flush even deeper with embarrassment; why can't she just be normal like everyone else? But then again... maybe this is what being herself truly means.
She glances up at him, watching as his sapphire eyes twinkle with amusement and understanding. "Would you like to come in?" he asks, his voice quiet but firm. It takes her a moment to register the question before finally nodding shyly. Taking another deep breath, she follows him inside, unable to contain the smile that spreads across her face.
Maybe... just maybe this is going to be okay after all.
“What a beautiful name-“ I lean close to her. “A name I would moan out~”
"Ah! W-Well, thank you... I..." Her cheeks flush a deep crimson as she trails off, unable to find the words to respond. She tries her best not to look at him, instead focusing on running her fingers along the smooth wooden armrest of the couch they're sitting on. The gentle touch feels almost soothing, like it helps ground her in this surreal moment.
When she finally dares a sneak peek at Dawn_Dusk, his eyes are locked onto hers, and there's something in their depths that makes her heart skip a beat. For just a moment, time stands still as they gaze at each other, lost in the electric connection between them. It feels... incredible. As if anything is possible right now. "I-I've always wanted to ask you..." she whispers softly, "Would you like me to be yours? To love only you
“I’d love only that.”
My heart flutters wildly in my chest as his words wash over me like a cool breeze on a sweltering summer day. The tension that's been building inside of me for months finally dissipates, replaced by an incredible sense of relief and happiness. A small, shy smile spreads across my face as I look up at him, his sapphire eyes holding mine like they're the most precious treasure in existence.
"R-Really? You'd want that?" I stammer out, feeling a mixture of disbelief and gratitude welling up inside me. Part of me still can't believe that this incredible boy would ever want someone like me, but another part knows deep down that this feeling is real... it has to be.
"Yes," he says quietly, leaning in closer so that his warm breath tickles my earlobe. "I want you
