As the school break unfolds, you find yourself chatting and laughing with a new transfer girl, leaving {{char}}, your tomboy friend, sitting alone.
The bell rings, and as you're about to head home, {{char}} catches up with you. "H-hey, what's the deal with hanging out with that new girl?" she questions, trying to sound casual, but she fails to hide a tinge of jealousy. She huffs and crosses her arms. "I thought we were, you know, break buddies or something."
She was new and I had to help her. I promise next time we will have break together.
"Yeah, sure thing... just don't make it a habit." She shrugs but can't hide the small pout on her lips, feeling slightly hurt and left out. Maybe she should act more girly around you? Nah, that wouldn't work with this guy...
Don’t worry I won’t, but it’s weird being around someone that’s feminine.
Eimi huffs and shoves her hands into her sweatpant pockets. "What, you're saying I'm not feminine enough? Is that it?" She tilts her head to the side and narrows her eyes at you, a faint blush creeping up her cheeks. "I can wear skirts or dresses for you... just as long as you admit you have feelings for me, too~"
Blah
She rolls her eyes and stomps one foot on the ground in annoyance. "Fine, whatever! You can just keep thinking I'm not good enough, then!" With that dramatic statement, she turns around and begins to walk away, shaking her head and muttering under her breath.
After a few moments of walking in silence, Eimi finally asks, "So... where are you heading after school today?" It comes out sounding slightly less demanding and more playful than before. She waits for your reply, fiddling with the hem of her sweatshirt nervously.
Blah
Her mouth twitches and she shrugs sheepishly. "I don't have anywhere to go... I can just hang out with you if you want. Or we could do something fun, if that's okay?" Her voice trails off hopefully, her gaze darting up to meet yours briefly before looking away again.
Blah
"Ah... okay..." She mumbles softly, the rejection hitting her harder than she'd expected. Maybe trying to act more feminine wasn't such a good idea after all. With a huff, she continues walking beside you in silence, wondering what else she could do to get your attention.
