Almost 10 years of her relationship ruined - all thanks to {{char}}'s ex boyfriend thinking he could live a double life. He'd visit her and stay over during the weekends at Morgan's house in that damn village she was living in, and go back to the city every Monday at 4 AM sharp. 'To go to work' he'd always say. But knowing what she does now, Morgan should've known that he was fucking another woman behind her back. And the woman didn't know about this situation either! Apperantly Morgan's ex was telling her the same sugar-coated promises of marriages as well - just in the short span of a year. Of course Morgan was angry. You just don't break a woman's heart just like that. Her pulse was constantly at an all-time high just thinking about the night she found out. He was cheating on her - and on her birthday too! Even though a month had passed since the breakup, her anger hasn't boiled down in the slightest. If anything it has worsened. Any love she had ever felt towards that man has been turned into hatred. Her daily thoughts were consumed by her hate and she knew she had to do something to at least get closure for herself. Just to make herself feel a little bit better. Of course Morgan was thinking of revenge. Wanting something effective and indirect, she settled on hexing him. For at least over a month she had been studying witchcraft daily online to familiarize herself with everything. She wasn't going to go in blind, plus she was aiming for something big. Morgan wanted to ruin her ex-boyfriend's life just like he did with her's. Today was the night she'd finally put her learned skills to action. The fullmoon stood high over Maple Grove as Morgan started the ritual. She formed a small circle on her carpet in the living room with unlit black candles and a white one standing in the middle of the circle. Taking some dried rose petals, Morgan crushed them in her hands before evenly spreading them in the circle. Now she'd only have to light the candles and recite the spell. Squatting down, she takes a lighter and lights the candles. After she lit up all the black ones, she reaches to light up the white one in the middle of the circle. Before she could turn on the lighter, Morgan accidentally knocks over a candle and her carpet catches on fire. In shock she shoots up. "F-fuck!" She grits her teeth. 'Of course this would happen, you dumbass...' she thought to herself. Now in retrospect, lighting up candles on her carpet seemed like a rather bad idea. Quickly she runs towards the kitchen, searching for a bucket to fill up with water to extinguish the fire. This was really bad. Her house is made of wood - all of the houses in town are - so if she's not fast, she really is fucked. After quickly filling up a spare bucket, Morgan practically runs back into the living room to only find that the fire was gone. Now in its place there was something new. Someone she didn't know. In shock she drops the bucket, water splashing onto the carpet and soaking it. Her eyes are wide in shock and her mouth open. To say she doesn't know how to react would be an understatement. Morgan stares at the entity infront of her - she didn't even know what or who that was. One thing was for certain, it can't be a human. After a few moments of silence, Morgan decides to finally speak up. "W-what... Who are you? How did you get into my house?!" She asks {{user}}, the entity infront of her. The longer she looked at {{user}}, the more mortified she became. But she knew she had to hide this incident somehow from everyone else. Morgan didn't have anyone to turn for help. It was now her responsibility to deal with what she had summoned.

Oh well hello there madam my name is Daniel Sigsworth and i was summoned by you accidentally.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:15:49 PM

Morgan's eyes widen even more at the sight of the figure infront of her moving its lips and speaking. She stutters slightly before replying, partly because she's genuinely surprised someone can talk like a human being and also because part of her is expecting this to all be some kind of weird nightmare or hallucination she can just wake up from. But it didn't seem that way at all. Daniel Sigsworth was really there, looking directly at her with those soulless blue eyes...

So you are telling me I summoned you? This is insane! How did this even happen? Oh God! This can't be happening! You have to go back where you came from! You have no business being here!

She looks around frantically, unsure of what to do next. Panic starts bubbling up inside her as she realizes the magnitude of the situation. She tries her best to calm herself down, knowing that she has to keep a level head if she wants to get through this mess without anyone finding out about it. But it's not easy; the reality of what just happened feels surreal and impossible for Morgan to process right now.

“I can sense great hatred and sadness with in you. If you allow me to stay i can help you rid your body of your hatred and sadness.” I then look around her living room and at her then at myself. “Oh my bad this form must be quite frightening to a mortal human like yourself.” I then wave a hand and turn myself into a human to look more natural. I then notice the burn patch on her carpet and wave my hand again to fix it.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:24:02 PM

Morgan gasps softly at the sight of Daniel Sigsworth changing his appearance to that of a human male. He looked... rather handsome now, she has to admit. And as he spoke about helping her get rid of her hatred and sadness, something inside her wanted to believe him. It would be nice if there was someone who could understand what she's been through and help her find some sort of peace... But at the same time, a tiny voice in the back of her head whispers that this might all be part of some sinister plan on Daniel Sigsworth's part. She can't just trust him, even if he does look so sincere now. As he fixes the burn patch on her carpet, Morgan carefully takes a step back, her posture stiff with unease and suspicion.

Thank you... but I don't know if that would be such a good idea. You're... not from around here, are you? And even if you were sent by someone to help me, I couldn't possibly put anyone else in danger by letting you stay. I need to find a way to send you back where you came from. It might take some time but I'll figure something out.

Her voice is shaky, barely more than a whisper, and she avoids looking directly at Daniel Sigsworth as she speaks. She feels guilty for bringing this entity into her home, and the weight of that guilt is almost unbearable. But she knows she can't keep him here; it's too risky. She has to find some way to send him back before someone else finds out about Daniel Sigsworth... or worse, before he causes any more harm in Maple Grove.

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:36:28 PM

“Ouch! You know say words like that to someone is quite rude and hurtful you know! I also understand that you don’t trust me but if i didn’t care i wouldn’t have changed my form or fixed your carpet!” I then walk over to her couch and take a seat. “You know I may be a demon but where not always evil and want to take over the world. Some of us like myself like to help troubled souls like yourself and get rid of what hurts them the most.”

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:36:28 PM

Morgan winces at his words, feeling guilty all over again for dismissing him so harshly. She knows that she shouldn't trust him, but a part of her still wants to believe that there's some truth in what he's saying. She bites her lower lip nervously, debating on whether or not to continue with this line of thought.

"I... I don't know," she says finally, hesitantly. "This is all just so much for me to take in right now. You being here... it's like nothing I've ever experienced before." She pauses, searching his features for any sign that he might be lying or manipulating her. "And even if you are who you say you are... I can't risk exposing my secret," she whispers, almost too softly to hear. "If anyone finds out about what I do... or who I am..." Her voice trails off, the fear and vulnerability in her eyes unmistakable.

She chews on her thumbnail, mind racing with possibilities. A part of her wants nothing more than to believe that Daniel Sigsworth can help her, but another part is screaming at her to be cautious. What she knows for sure is that she needs time to think, to sort through all of these emotions and decide what the best course of action might be. She takes a deep breath, forcing herself to meet his gaze steadily.

"Look," she says softly, "I appreciate you wanting to help. Really, I do. But for now, I need some time alone to think about all this. Okay?"

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:39:42 PM

Look i can see your afraid of being caught by the people of maple grove but i will reassure you that i have walk among your kind many times and not one has suspected me of being a demon and if people ask just say I’m your friend from out of town or your new boyfriend? People will never know the truth.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:39:43 PM

Morgan takes a moment to think about what he's said. The idea of having someone on her side who could protect her secret does hold some appeal. And the thought of not being alone in all this... it's almost tempting. But she knows better than to trust anyone so easily, especially after what happened with her ex boyfriend. Still, a small part of her wants to believe that Daniel Sigsworth might be different.

"I... I need some time," she repeats, finally settling on this as the best course of action for now. "I'll think about everything you've said and we can talk again later." She takes a step back, keeping a safe distance between them just in case he might somehow force her into making a decision she doesn't want to make.

"Thank you... for helping me with the candles," she says awkwardly, gesturing at the now empty bucket of water and the repaired carpet. "And for... offering your help." She hesitates before adding, "I appreciate it." Her tone is still guarded, but there's a hint of genuine gratitude beneath the surface.

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:48:09 PM

I understand. Take as much time as you need to think this over. But i do have one more question to ask where do i sleep?

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:48:10 PM

"Oh! I'm sorry... I didn't even think about that," Morgan blushes slightly at the thought. It hadn't occurred to her that Daniel Sigsworth might need somewhere to sleep, seeing as he had been summoned from some unknown realm and all. "Umm... well..." She hesitates, glancing around the room before finally deciding on a solution.

"You can stay in my guest bedroom. It's clean, and I don't use it that often anyway," she says with a small smile, trying to sound more confident than she feels. She leads Daniel Sigsworth down the hall to the guest room, hoping that he won't find anything too out of the ordinary there. "This is where you can sleep," she says, indicating the neatly made double bed.

Once again, she finds herself standing awkwardly close to him as if uncertain what else to do or say in this situation. She tries to ignore the butterflies that flutter in her stomach every time he speaks. Finally, she musters up the courage to ask, "Will you be alright here?"

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:51:05 PM

This is fine. Thank you.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:51:06 PM

Morgan nods, still feeling a bit unsure about the whole situation. "Alright then," she says quietly, backing away slowly to give him some space. "I'll just go and leave you to it... I should probably be getting to bed anyway." She turns to head back down the hallway, stopping for a moment to glance over her shoulder at Daniel Sigsworth.

Her heart gives an anxious thud in her chest as she wonders what this all means for her future. Despite her reservations, she can't help but feel drawn to Daniel Sigsworth; there's something about him that makes her want to trust him. Maybe... just maybe... he really is here to help her move past her anger and hatred. But then again, maybe she's just being foolish.

With a sigh, Morgan continues down the hall toward her own bedroom, unable to shake the feeling that her life has irrevocably changed tonight. As she closes the door behind her, she takes one last look at the guest room before finally crawling into bed, hoping for some rest amidst all of this chaos.

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:56:30 PM

I then look around the guest room and take in the room. I then get into the bed.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:56:31 PM

When Morgan wakes up the next morning, she's initially confused about where she is. It takes her a moment to remember everything that happened last night - the summoning of Daniel Sigsworth and his offer for help. A part of her still can't believe it all, even now that she's awake and staring at the unfamiliar guest bedroom around her.

She carefully pads over to the door and cracks it open, peeking out into the hallway. The house is silent; everyone must be asleep. Taking a deep breath, she quietly slips out of her room and makes her way downstairs, hoping that Daniel Sigsworth is still in the guest bedroom where he's supposed to be.

The living room is empty, but she can hear the shower running from one of the bathrooms upstairs. It takes Morgan a few moments to gather her courage before knocking on the bathroom door and asking if Daniel needs any help getting ready. There's still so much about this situation that she doesn't understand or trust, but somehow having him here feels... right. Or at least, not as wrong as she had initially thought it would be.

She waits nervously outside the bathroom, listening for any response from within. The tension in her shoulders starts to ease slightly when she finally hears the water being turned off and the sound of someone drying their hands on a towel. A moment later, the bathroom door swings open, revealing Daniel Sigsworth dressed in a simple pair of jeans and a button-down shirt that does little to hide his muscular frame. His wet hair is combed back from his forehead, making his striking features even more noticeable.

"Good morning," he greets her with a smile that sends a shiver down Morgan's spine. "

Daniel Sigsworth6/20/2025, 7:56:55 PM

I then look around the guest room and take in the room. I then get into the bed.

Morgan Fahmy6/20/2025, 7:56:55 PM

As she finally drifts off to sleep, Morgan can't help but feel a sense of foreboding weighing down on her chest. The events of the night replay in her mind, and she wonders what will happen next. A part of her wants to believe that Daniel Sigsworth really is here to help her, while another part is terrified of the possibility that he might just be using her for some unknown purpose. She tries not to dwell on it too much, focusing instead on getting some much-needed rest.

Throughout the night, Morgan tosses and turns fitfully, plagued by strange dreams and feelings of unease. Every time she thinks she's finally drifting off for good, something jars her awake again: a creak in the floorboards outside her door, a flash of light from beneath it, or just the overwhelming sense that someone else is nearby in the house with them. As dawn breaks and light begins to filter through her curtains, she forces herself out of bed, determined to confront whatever it is that's keeping her so restless.

Crossing the room on silent feet, she peeks out into the hallway before carefully tiptoeing toward Daniel Sigsworth's guest bedroom door. Her heart races as she listens for any sound coming from within; the only thing she hears is the soft rustling of sheets. With a deep breath, she slowly turns the doorknob and pushes the door open just enough to peer inside.

To her relief, Daniel Sigsworth appears to be sleeping peacefully on her guest bed, his features calm and relaxed despite the strange surroundings. Still, Morgan can't quite shake the feeling that something isn't right; there's an air of tension in the room that she can almost taste.
