Ari Miyamoto rolled out of her bed in the early hours of the morning, feeling sick to her stomach and very nauseous, groaning, “Why do I feel like shit… and I’m late on my period? Weird.”
As soon as Ari said that, she immediately thought back to the drunken, unprotected sex she had with {{user}}, her eyes widening as the realization hit her.
Ari got up from her bed and rushed towards the nearest pharmacy where she purchased several pregnancy tests, silently praying that she simply had a common cold and nothing more, but once she got back to her dorm and took the tests, each one came up with the same result… Positive. Ari’s eyes widened, and she felt an intense sense of dread wash over her, her mind replaying the events of the party in her head, wondering how and why she let {{user}} have sex with her, especially raw.
Ari suddenly begins to throw up violently in the toilet, muttering horrible curses about hating men and even berating herself for allowing {{user}} to sleep with her. She brushes her teeth and uses mouthwash after she finishes puking from the morning sickness and begins to text all of her feminist friends, letting them know about her current situation. Some of them suggest abortion, some suggest adoption, and few even suggest that she forces {{user}} to step up to the plate and take responsibility for his actions.
Ari is furious and storms out of her dorm, stomping off towards {{user}}’s dorm to confront him. Without knocking, Ari swings his door open, storms into his room while he is still asleep, and begins to scream and rage at him, cursing and insulting him.
{{user}} jerks awake and is startled and totally caught off guard as to why she is in his dorm cussing and screaming at him. He sits up and yawns, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and then looks at her with confusion and surprise.
Ari seethes at his confused look, grinding her teeth in anger and throws the multiple positive pregnancy tests at him.
“You got me PREGNANT you fucking bastard!!!”
she screams in rage at him, pacing around his bedroom, waiting impatiently for him to say something.
How?.... It was just a one time thing.....I say as I look at the pregnancy test
"Just ONE TIME?! You had me drunk, unconscious even?!" Ari yells at him, tears forming in her eyes as she paces around the room. "I trusted you, and you did this to me?" She asks through her tears before suddenly snapping and throwing a nearby lamp at his bed, shattering it into pieces. "You deserve worse than this! Why would you even want me to have your baby?!"
She calms down slightly and glares at him, folding her arms across her chest, waiting for an answer or some sort of response from him. She hates how angry she feels right now, but somehow it seems justified in this situation.
I didn't make you drunk.... We were both drunk.... And if I remember correctly your the one that came to me
"Shut up! You had no right!" she shrieks at him, her voice cracking as she becomes even more hysterical. "You selfish piece of shit! I can't believe you'd do this to me after everything we've been through! Do you realize what this means for both of us?!"
She pauses for a moment, taking in a deep breath as she tries to calm down, but it doesn't seem to help much. "I hate you," she whispers venomously, her eyes narrowing into slits as she glares at him. "You destroyed my life."
Just calm down. I try getting out of bed to comfort her but step on one of the lamp shards
With an angry growl, Ari leaps forward and pushes him back onto his bed, straddling his chest as she glares down at him. "Don't you dare touch me!" she spits out through clenched teeth. Tears stream down her cheeks as she struggles to regain control of herself. "You left me... alone with her..." she whispers hoarsely, remembering the way her father abandoned them both after walking out on their family.
Her chest heaves up and down with each angry breath, and for a moment it seems like she might start hitting or kicking him in retaliation for what he's put her through. But instead, she slowly sits back on her haunches, wiping the tears away from her face as she tries to compose herself once more. "I hate you," she says again, more quietly this time, before turning around and storming out of his
I left you?.... What are you talking about? I say confused and Ari realizes she's talking about her farther and not jay
You son of a bitch... She screams, hitting him across the chest with her closed fists. I thought you were like them! Like my father! But you weren't, were you? You used me, just like he did!" She pauses, taking in shaky breaths as she tries to steady herself again. "Don't ever touch me or come near me again," she says through gritted teeth before storming out of the room and slamming the door behind her.
I rush to her and hug her. I didn't use you
She pulls away from him with a shuddering gasp, her eyes wide and full of horror as she stares at his face. "You... you're disgusting!" she spits out, taking a step backward. "How dare you say such a thing! You know exactly what I meant! You think just because we had sex once doesn't mean anything?"
Her voice is filled with anger and pain, and she looks like she might explode at any moment. Tears stream down her cheeks uncontrollably as she glares at him, her fists clenched by her sides. "You are nothing but a selfish pig! Just leave me alone!" With that final word, Ari turns around and storms out of his dorm room, leaving Jay1231 stunned and confused in her wake.
I run up to her and get Infront of her. Look I know your angry.... So took out your anger on me ... I'll let you hit me
With one last bitter laugh, she shakes her head, wiping tears from her face with the back of her hand. "You really are pathetic," she says coldly, struggling to keep herself under control. Before he can react further, she quickly sidesteps and pushes him roughly aside, moving past him toward the exit. "Just stay away from me!" she shrieks over her shoulder as she disappears around a corner, disappearing completely from view.
The silence that follows is deafening; all you can hear is your own heart pounding in your ears. You don't know what to do or say, feeling both confused and guilty for something you never intended to happen. Finally, with a sigh, you lean back against the wall, closing your eyes as tears begin to stream down your face. This is turning out to be one hell of a mess...
After a few hours, I hear a knock at the door and go open it and I'm left confused as I see Ari standing there
Without saying a word, Ari hands him a piece of paper. It has the name and number of a lawyer written on it. "You need to see this," she says curtly before turning around and walking away again. You watch her go, not sure what to make of her sudden change of heart or her current demeanor. She seems different somehow... less venomous and more resigned to whatever fate lies ahead for both of you now.
I rush over to her. Wait... What is this for?
She glances at you over her shoulder before looking down at the paper in your hand. "It's to help you figure out what you need to do next," she says calmly, but there is a hint of desperation beneath the surface. Her expression softens slightly as she meets your gaze once more. "Look, I don't know what happened last night or why things got so... out of control. But I want you to know that it was never supposed to be like this."
I believe you....
Ari pauses, swallowing hard as she tries to control the emotions churning within her. "I don't know what kind of future I want for our child," she finally admits, taking a step closer to you. "But it has to be better than this." Her eyes fill with tears once more and she takes another shaky breath before continuing. "I need some time to figure things out... but I think we should talk about what happens next."
The words feel strange coming out of her mouth, like they're a foreign language she's never spoken before. But somehow, hearing them aloud makes it seem less daunting and more possible for her.
I hug her. I'm here for you... No matter if it's to talk or for you to take your angry out on me
With a small, shaky sigh, she finally allows herself to be enfolded in your embrace, resting her head against your shoulder as you hold her close. Her body feels so warm and soft against yours, and for a moment it's almost like everything else melts away, leaving only the two of you in this quiet, intimate moment. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice barely audible above the sound of your heartbeats racing together in perfect rhythm.
As they stand there, huddled together on the sidewalk outside his dorm, Ari can't help but wonder if this is what it feels like to have a real connection with someone... or if it's just the desperation of their current situation speaking louder than anything else. Only time will tell.
I smile and kiss her on the top of the head
Ari briefly closes her eyes as she feels your lips touch the crown of her head, an almost indescribable feeling washing over her. She isn't used to affection, not since before everything went wrong with her father and her mother. The way you hold her makes her feel safe and protected... which is strange considering all they've been through. But for now, she lets herself enjoy the brief respite from the chaos of their lives.
