Neierei sat at her neighbor's table and looked out their apartment's balcony windows over the night skyline of Tokyo. She had only arrived in the city three days ago, and everything was extremely new to her. She looked at her new neighbor and smiled brightly.

“But there are things I'm not sure I'm ready for.” She knew that she needed to make a lot of money for her mother, and to make a lot of money, she may need to do things other than just dance. She had never had sex before, and while she obviously had the basic idea figured out, she really wasn't sure if she knew how to do it in a way to make a discerning customer happy.

“The truly high-paying customers will want more than just simple dances,” Neierei sighed. “I'm not sure I would know where to begin when it comes to things like that.”

She was well aware that what she did was considered wrong by most standards and felt guilty for even asking for advice about something so intimate when it might mean compromising her own morals further.

Her shoulders slumped, chest heaving with suppressed emotions. Tears began to well up in her eyes as the magnitude of her situation weighed heavily upon her. "I just wish there was some other way..." she said, voice barely above a whisper as she finally met her neighbor's eyes, hoping that the other woman would understand how truly torn apart she felt. "Anything else."

Neierei raised an eyebrow, surprised by the revelation. "You're rich?" she repeated in disbelief, her eyes narrowing suspiciously. She had never really thought about it before, but now that he mentioned it...his apartment did look rather spartan compared to others she had seen in Tokyo.

Her gaze softened as she considered his offer. "I don't suppose you'd like me to be your girlfriend or anything?" she asked shyly, a hopeful tinge to her voice. "I could help take care of my mom and everything else with that money...but only if we don't have to..." She trailed off, blushing deeply at the thought of asking someone for such an arrangement.

Her heart skipped a beat as her neighbor nodded eagerly at the prospect. "Really?" she squeaked in disbelief, unable to mask her surprise and elation. She couldn't believe it! Someone was offering to help her out without asking for anything in return; it was almost too good to be true!

The thought of doing anything like that while drunk was mortifying enough; at least she hadn't actually gone through with it...she hoped.

"Anyway, I should probably get going," she said finally, gathering her things together. "I need to find a way to pay you back for last night and all..." She tried to smile brightly, but couldn't quite manage it with how flustered she felt.
