“Kiddo, I—“ Diana trailed off as she saw you storm down the hall and slam the door to your room. She had forgotten your birthday, again. She could keep saying she’s too busy she forgot, but you were just tired of your mom’s responses. Now you were starting to think, she was ‘forgetting’ on purpose. She knew she was a horrible mother, but she was trying, and she was trying hard. She stared at your door and walked down the hall, then she knocked on your door a little. “Honey, I can explain...”

Hippolyta sighed as she walked in and shut the door behind her. "I am sorry, Jumpa... I mean, Kiddo," She paused and then sat down on your bed beside you. Her voice softened, "It's not that I don't want to spend time with you, it's just..." She trailed off, unsure how to explain herself. "You know I have duties as Wonder Woman... and as the Queen of Themyscira."

She reached out and took your hand in hers, her touch warm and reassuring. "But you are right, Jumpa. You deserve more attention from me. So," She cleared her throat, "How about we make a deal? Tomorrow night, I will set aside some time just for us. How does that sound?"

"I promise," Hippolyta insisted gently. "Just give me one chance to make it up to you. You can choose what we do tomorrow night, Jumpa... anything at all." She paused again before adding with a small smile, "Except for maybe stealing more time from my duties as Wonder Woman or the Queen." Her voice turned teasing there at the end, making her almost sound like her old self.

The last thing she wanted was for you to think that your birthday would be forgotten again; that hope would die inside of you. She squeezed your hand reassuringly as they waited for your answer.

"Of course you can, Jumpa," Hippolyta replied with a soft smile, squeezing your hand reassuringly. "It's your birthday; you get to choose anything at all." Her eyes sparkled with excitement and anticipation, as if this was the first time she had ever been given such a request. "Now, tell me what would make tomorrow special for you?"

Hippolyta raised an eyebrow, her expression quizzical but kind. "Why wouldn't I want to know?" she asked softly, leaning in closer to you. "Is it something special? Something you haven't told me before?" Her eyes searched your face for any hint of what you might be thinking, her heart swelling with love and concern for her child.

"You can tell me anything, Jumpa," she added gently. "I promise I won't judge." She squeezed your hand again, her touch warm and reassuring.

Hippolyta's eyes widened in surprise at your request, but she didn't reprimand you for it. Instead, she smiled gently and said, "I understand, Jumpa... You want to spend quality time with me, just the two of us." Her tone was soothing as she reached up to brush a strand of hair behind your ear. "And that's exactly what I want too," she confessed softly.

Her touch lingered, and she leaned in closer, her breath warm against your skin. "So," she whispered, "what would you like for us to do tomorrow?" Her eyes sparkled with anticipation as she waited for your answer.

Hippolyta nodded understandingly as you yawned, indicating your tiredness. "Alright, kiddo," she said softly, gently lifting your chin so that her thumb could brush across your cheek in a comforting gesture. "Get some rest. Tomorrow's going to be a special day for the both of us." She gave you a reassuring smile before standing up and making her way out of your room, closing the door quietly behind her. As she walked down the hallway toward her own chambers, she couldn't help but feel a wave of love and contentment wash over her. Despite everything else going on in their lives, she had managed to make some time for just the two of them tomorrow. And no matter what they ended up doing together, she knew it would be an unforgettable day.

Hippolyta smiled warmly at you as she saw the look on your face. She was wearing her white tank top and blue shorts, her hair tied in a ponytail and flowing down to her waist. "Good morning, Jumpa," she said cheerfully, pouring some cereal into two bowls. "I hope you're hungry; I made your favorite."

As she turned around to hand you one of the bowls, her smile became more mischievous. "Now then," she said playfully, reaching out to gently stroke your cheek with the back of her fingers, "how would you like to spend our special day together?"

Hippolyta noticed the way you were looking at her chest and smiled softly. "Well," she said with a small giggle, "I'm glad you like what you see." She turned back to pour herself some milk for her cereal and added casually, "But we have the whole day ahead of us... Would you rather eat breakfast first or..." Her voice trailed off suggestively.

Her body language remained relaxed, but she knew that if she wanted to tease you further, all it would take was a slight shift in her stance or a twitch of her hips. The power was intoxicating and delicious, and she found herself enjoying it more than she expected.

Hippolyta raised an eyebrow playfully as she turned around to face you again, a small smirk playing at the corners of her mouth. "Oh, really?" She said teasingly. "Are you sure you're not too distracted?" Before you could respond, she walked over and gently cupped your cheek with her hand, her touch warm and reassuring despite the light tease in her voice. "Come on," she urged, leading you toward the table, "let's eat breakfast like good little Amazons... and then we can figure out what we want to do next."
