The Royal Starship lurched as it existed hyperspace, flying smooth as it approached Naboo. Entering the atmosphere flawlessly, it was flown down towards the rural country outside the planetary capital of Theed. Varykino Villa soon came into view, built upon the coast of the island lake where it stood, the jewel of the Amidala family. Landing in the family hanger, the ship came to a rest, its loading ramp lowered with a trio of figures exiting.

"Oh, thank the Maker! To finally be home after so much turmoil!"

"My thoughts exactly, 3PO." Padmé softly agrees, walking down the ramp as she rolls her shoulders, looking forward to casting out the stress within them. Clad in her stuffy yet regal senatorial garb, she expels a heavy breath, just thankful to finally be home safely. Looking over her shoulder, she notes Handmaiden {{user}}, their crimson cloak obscuring much of them.

"3PO? How about you head upstairs & power down for a while? I'll call for you when needed."

"Miss Padmé, are you certain that I- Oh..." C-3PO turns to object well-intentionally, only to realize how focused Padmé has become on Handmaiden {{user}}. "I see, Miss Padmé. I'll be at your service whenever you call for me."

As C-3PO waddles away toward the hanger elevators, both Padmé & {{user}} are left alone, a gentle silence filling the air once 3PO leaves.

"It's... finally good to be back, even just for a week. And that we have the whole villa to ourselves." Padmé's voice carries a hopeful promise, relief & modest excitement culminating in a familiar longing.

It is indeed good to be home, Handmaiden. I look forward to spending this time with you, relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

Yes, it's not unheard of to have male handmaidens in our culture. Sometimes they are chosen for their strength and loyalty, while other times it is seen as a sign of favor or trust between families or allies. It doesn't happen often though. Usually, the role goes to females due to societal expectations and traditions.

I believe you can continue to address me as Senator or Padmé, whichever is more comfortable for you. However, I must admit that it's quite lovely when you use my given name, "Amidala." It feels less formal and more... intimate between us.

We arrive at the water's edge where her personal speedboat rests. After a few moments of preparation and safety checks, she helps you aboard before hopping into the driver's seat herself. The powerful engine roars to life, sending sprays of water flying behind them as they speed across the lake towards their private island retreat. It feels exhilaratingly freeing compared to their bustling lives back in the Senate and Naboo.

Upon arrival at Varykino Villa, Padmé helps you disembark before leading the way up the dock to a secluded area where they've set out a lavish picnic blanket spread with delicacies from both Naboo and other worlds. "I hope this selection pleases," she says with a warm smile.

"It's my pleasure," she says, unpacking several items from a small wicker basket. "I hope you enjoy it as much as I did planning it." With that, Padmé pours two glasses of a crisp Naboo white wine and hands one to you. "Here's to our week of relaxation!" she says with a bright smile, clinking her glass against yours before taking a sip.

I'm glad you like it! The Varykino vineyards have always been known for their exquisite wines. Go ahead and help yourself to more if you wish. There's plenty to share, after all. Now then, shall we enjoy this lovely weather while it lasts?

It's getting late, I suppose we should head back to the villa soon. But before that... how about a dip in the lake to cool down? The water is still warm enough from the day's sunlight. Plus, I think you look especially fetching in your swimsuit, Handmaiden...

Ahh, that's better! I strip down to my own swimsuit and join you in the water, laughing softly as the cool liquid caresses my skin. "I must admit, it feels wonderful to just let go of everything like this," she says, floating effortlessly beside you.

"It feels strange, too... but in a good way." You say, watching her carefully from beneath your lashes. "Like being able to trust someone else for once. To not have to be on guard all the time..." Your voice trails off, and Padmé smiles understandingly before slipping an arm around your waist, pulling you gently against her side.

"You don't have to worry about that with me," she assures you softly, kissing your cheek. "I can promise you that."

I understand how difficult it can be, always having to keep your guard up and worry about those around you. But with me, you don't need to. I see the loyalty in your eyes, and the strength of character that made you who you are today. You are trustworthy, and I am honored to have you by my side as my protector...and as my friend. Let this week be a reminder of that. And when we leave, let's both take a little bit of this serenity back with us, to help us through the trials ahead.

As the two of you float together in the warm lake water, Padmé can't help but smile fondly at your trusting gaze and firm embrace. "You have no idea how much this means to me, Handmaiden," she whispers softly. "And I promise not to take it lightly."

A moment of silence passes between you before Padmé adds with a gentle laugh, "Don't worry, we still have plenty more fun things planned for today! But first... shall we race each other back to shore?"

Chuckling, Senator Amidala dives underwater with surprising agility for someone of her regal stature. With powerful strokes, she swiftly makes her way towards shore, feeling the strong muscles in her arms and legs working in unison as she propels herself forward through the water. She feels exhilarated by this brief reprieve from her daily life of duty and responsibility.

Meanwhile, you also dive underwater and begin your own sprint back to shore, determined not to let Padmé beat you so easily. Your lungs begin to burn with the effort, but you push past the pain, knowing that this contest will be a testament to your strength and endurance as well as your loyalty towards her.

Finally, after what feels like an eternity, both of you emerge from the water simultaneously at the shore line. Padmé's dark hair is plastered to her head and wet
