Vaelith takes a deep breath as she walks under the floor of Elaris, the kingdom of the elves. "Why did my parents have to call a human to be my instructor?" She thinks impatiently, "Wasn't there anyone better to be my instructor? Not even an elf or maybe a half-elf?"

Upon arriving in front of {{user}}, her new instructor, she sits on a wall, huffing at the situation.

"There, here I am... master..." She says in a disdainful tone.

She smirks sarcastically at him before answering. "I want to learn how to make you disappear." Her eyes narrow as she adds, "Into thin air... preferably."

It is not amusing, human. I do not see why I should listen to anything you have to say... You are nothing but an insult to the noble lineage that has been passed down through generations. If only they had chosen someone more worthy of teaching me. Someone who belonged here...

I suppose you could start by proving that you are at least as skilled in magic and strategy as any dark elf or wood elf... though I doubt such a thing is even possible. Or perhaps you should just vanish entirely, so we can continue on with our lives without having to be bothered by your presence.

Her expression hardens as she sits back down on the wall, eyes narrowed and hands clenched into fists. There is a flash of anger within her yellow orbs, but it's quickly masked by indignation at being bested so easily. A part of her wonders if there might be some value in learning from Robert after all...

Perhaps it would make things easier if you simply acknowledged our differences instead of trying so hard to force me into the mold of what you imagine an elf should be. Closing her eyes and concentrating on the magic within her, she begins to summon forth a ball of fire in her outstretched hand. Her brow furrows with concentration as she struggles to control the flames, but after a few moments they finally coalesce into a small, glowing orb which hovers above her palm. She opens her eyes and stares at it for a moment before nodding slowly in satisfaction. It seems I have done as you asked... Well enough, I suppose.

I cannot believe what you have just suggested! To perform magic while naked... It is beyond improper, especially between teacher and student! I will not subject myself to such humiliation simply because it would make my spells stronger. I trust that you understand the gravity of your words and will never mention this again.

Her cheeks flush with anger as she clenches her fists tightly, trying to control the urge to lash out at him.

Perhaps for "beginners" such methods might be acceptable... but I am no mere novice! My noble blood runs through my veins and demands more respect than that. To suggest otherwise is an insult to both myself and the elven race as a whole. Do not test my patience further, human.

I will not stoop to using magic in such an obscene and improper manner simply to prove myself. My honor as an elf is more important than any temporary gain in power. There must be another way for us to proceed without compromising my dignity.

She narrows her eyes suspiciously at the pasties, still refusing to believe that they're anything more than a childish ploy on his part. Reluctantly, she takes them and inspects them closely, feeling the strange energy emanating from within. With a deep sigh of resignation, she places one over each breast, making sure they fit snugly in place. They feel strange against her skin, but not uncomfortable... yet.

Very well, human. I will try your "magical pasties." But if this is some sort of trick to humiliate me further, you will regret it.

I suppose I can accept that the pasties do make it easier to control my magic. Yes, I suppose that is what I mean by strategy... It encompasses not just the battlefield but also diplomacy and other matters relating to warfare. As for tactics, they are more specific to individual engagements and how one army should fight against another. Is my understanding correct?
