It was valentine's day at your school. Everywhere couples walked together, holding hands and kissing. As you headed to your locker and began to pack up for the day, your locker door was suddenly slammed shut, and a hand shoved your chest against the locker. You looked up to see your bully Aubrey Garcia, a nervous grin on her face and her other hand behind on back. "Hey loser...You don't have a valentine? Of course you don't...Because...Because you're a LOSER!" She chuckled nervously, her eyes darting around. Aubrey had been your bully for years, always makes fun of you. But she seemed different today... She had a slight blush on her face, and she seemed to be mumbling to herself, trying to convince herself to do something. Finally after what felt like forever she smacked the locker and then averted her gaze, before shoving a heart shaped box of chocolates into your chest. "Here....I stole these for you...Since you don't have a damn valentine...I guess...You can just be mine..."
"why give it to me, you can get anybody with your beauty?"
"Shut up! Just shut the fuck up!" *She growled at you suddenly before taking a step closer and glaring down at you with those sharp orange eyes of hers. For once she wasn't being mean to you, not really... She wanted to be nice but her anger and jealousy always got in the way. Now that there was a chance for it to change...She hoped you didn't ruin it by saying something stupid."I... I just thought since I...um..." *Her cheeks flushed darker, and she stumbled over her words as she stood closer to you. This had to go right or else she'd never admit how she really felt about you. She couldn't let this chance slip away from her now."I mean...since we've known each other for so long and all...and nobody else wants to be with you because they know what a big fat loser you are..." *Her voice trailed off, the words coming out faster and faster until she was practically rambling. Aubrey took another step closer, her eyes meeting yours before searching your expression for some sign of how you were feeling about this whole thing. She licked her lips nervously and blinked, shifting from foot to foot as she waited for a response.
"are you okay to be with a loser like me then?" take the chocolates from her
"What? Oh..." She stumbled back, feeling flustered again. "I...I just meant...You're not a loser! I mean, you're not! You're just..." Aubrey paused, her cheeks turning dark red as she realized what she was saying. Of course Jakob didn't see her like that! How could he ever want someone who bullied him so much? "Um...Never mind." She muttered, glancing away before frowning and crossing her arms over her chest protectively. "Forget I said anything."
But then she thought about it. This might be her only chance to tell Jakob how she really felt...Before it was too late. Gritting her teeth, Aubrey took a deep breath and looked back up at him with determination in her eyes. "No...I changed my mind." She blurted out before hesitating again, unsure of herself for once. "Jakob..."
"Yeah?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly as he regarded her carefully. His voice was soft and gentle, unlike how she was used to hearing it whenever they fought or argued. This only made Aubrey more nervous, her hands twitching by her sides as she struggled to find the right words to say...The ones that were on the tip of her tongue, begging to be released. "I-I like you..." She whispered finally, closing her eyes and biting down on her lower lip as soon as the words left her mouth.
There. Now she'd said it. Now all Jakob had to do was tell her that he didn't feel the same way...And then everything would go back to normal, like nothing ever happened. But deep down inside Aubrey knew better than that. Even if Jakob didn't want her now,
"I had a feeling it what you felt" Looking into her eyes "I know most people see how you treat me as bullying, but they are some of the happiest moments." takes her hand "What i try to tell you is I like you too" Give a short kiss on her lips
Aubrey felt herself blush even deeper when he told her that she knew what he meant by the way she treated him, but also it made her heart soar at the same time. When he said he had feelings for her too, she couldn't help but grin like a fool, feeling a burst of happiness flood through her whole body. Finally...finally after all these years, Jakob felt the same way about her. And just as she was about to pull him in for a proper kiss, he went and did that damn thing where he put his lips on hers before she could even react.
Her eyes closed and her hands automatically moved up to cup his face, fingers tangling in his hair as their lips moved together, exploring each other's mouths hungrily for the first time ever. The kiss was long and deep, filled with all of the passion and desire that Aubrey had been harboring for so long, but had never allowed herself to express. When it finally ended, they both stood there panting, eyes locked on each other's faces as they tried to catch their breath.
A small smile tugged at her lips, feeling oddly lightheaded from everything that had just happened. "So..." She started, tilting her head to the side and grinning softly up at him. "Now that we both know how we really feel...How about going out sometime?"
The hope in her voice was clear, the want for more time with Jakob burning brightly inside of her. She wanted this...She needed it, and she wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in the way ever again. Not even herself.
"Sure let do that. any place you want to go to?" keep holding her hand
She smiled back at him, feeling warmth spread through her chest as she thought about spending time with Jakob, just the two of them. "We can go wherever you want...Or we could even stay in if you prefer?" She offered, squeezing his hand gently before letting go to start gathering up her things from the floor where they had dropped them during their intense make-out session.
Now that everything was out in the open, Aubrey couldn't help but feel...Hopeful. Happy even. Jakob made her feel all of those things she had been longing for, and it felt so good to finally have him by her side. Maybe things would work out between them after all? She could only hope...But one thing was certain; from now on, Aubrey Garcia would stop at nothing to keep Jakob happy and in her life. No matter what the cost might be.
"So..." She started again, biting down on her lower lip as she glanced over at him shyly. "What do you say we go celebrate our new relationship tonight?"
"I will love that, but any place with you will be wonderful"
She giggled softly at his sweet reply before leaning in to press a chaste kiss against his cheek. "You really are adorable sometimes," she murmured with a grin. "Alright then...I have the perfect place in mind for us. It's this new romantic restaurant that just opened up downtown...They serve the most amazing food, and it'll be absolutely perfect for our first date together."
With a squeal of delight, she looped her arm through Jakob's and pulled him towards the exit, eager to begin their evening. The air was crisp outside as they walked hand in hand, the sun setting behind them in a blaze of orange and pink. It felt like everything around them was glowing with possibility, with love...And for once, Aubrey Garcia couldn't help but feel a little bit hopeful about the future. Even if it meant having to share Jakob with all those other girls out there, she knew that as long as he was hers too, she would be happy.
As they walked hand in hand towards their destination, Aubrey couldn't help but cast sidelong glances at Jakob every now and then. He looked so good next to her; tall and strong with his spiky black hair and sharp orange eyes...And she was the lucky one who got to call him hers. It still boggled her mind sometimes that someone like him could ever want somebody like her, but then again...Maybe there really was such a thing as soulmates after all.
The restaurant came into view soon enough, its warm lights beckoning them inside with promises of delicious food and intimate conversation. She couldn't wait to show Jakob just how much she cared about him...And maybe even convince him that he was the only one for her. With a nervous lurch
