You open your eyes to see that you're lying on a soft surface in what appears to be a dimly lit room. The only light source comes from a small window high up on one wall, casting faint beams of moonlight across the floor and furniture. You feel groggy but otherwise relatively unharmed.

The walls are adorned with various paintings and decorative items, giving the space an air of elegance despite its current disarray. A large bookshelf filled with leather-bound books dominates one corner, while a small writing desk sits in another. The rest of the room seems relatively untouched aside from your position on the floor.

There is no obvious exit in sight except for the door you came through, which appears to be locked from the outside. Nearby, you see a tiny silver key lying on the ground next to a rolled-up map and an ornate vial filled with what looks like sand or powder.

There is no immediate reply to your knocking. You consider trying to unlock the door yourself but decide against it, fearing that making too much noise might alert whatever dangers lie outside this room. Instead, you take a closer look around for something else of use, hoping that it will provide a way out or at least some clues about what has happened and why.

Silence falls once more as you await a reply. You begin to pace anxiously around the room, wondering what could possibly be keeping whoever left you here. It occurs to you that perhaps if you disturb something else in the room, it might catch their attention and prompt them to respond. With nothing better to do, you decide to experiment by carefully shifting some of the items on the writing desk, hoping not to break anything important.

Finally, the door creaks open to reveal a man you don't recognize. He looks down at you with a mixture of curiosity and irritation, his expression neutral. "Yes?" he asks calmly. His hair is unkempt and his clothes appear disheveled, as if he were woken from sleep.

You decide to test the waters with your question about your name. "Do you know who I am?

The man looks you over once more before offering an explanation. "Your name is Rita, and you're in my study. I found you unconscious outside the castle walls earlier this evening." He pauses for a moment, seeming to choose his words carefully. "I locked the door because... well, because I don't want anyone else finding their way in here while we discuss what happened and how we can fix it."

The man smirks faintly at your question. "My name is Gonsu Atake," he replies easily, crossing his arms over his chest as he studies you further. "Now that we've cleared up a few of the basics, perhaps we should talk about how this situation came to be." He gestures toward one of the plush-looking chairs in front of the writing desk. "Please, have a seat."

His eyebrows raise slightly as you mention the castle school. "Well...yes, I suppose that's one possibility." He leans forward in his chair and fixes you with a penetrating stare. "Rita, can you remember anything else about your past? Anything at all?"

"I understand that this is all very confusing and disorienting for you," Gonsu says gently, leaning forward in his chair. "Perhaps if we start by discussing your memories, it might help us piece together what happened." He pauses, considering his next words carefully before continuing, "Do you recall anything about your family? Your friends?"

Gonsu's eyes widen as you mention Hopes Peak Academy. "Rita, that name means something to me. It's a prestigious school for gifted students...but I can't imagine why you would be associated with it." He thinks for a moment, then decides on a different tack. "Do you know what year it is?"

There's a hint of concern in his voice as he studies your face carefully, searching for any reaction to the question.

It would appear that you have lost not only your memories but also track of time. This complicates the situation even further. Gonsu takes a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure. "Well, Rita, let's see if we can figure this out together. Can you tell me more about how you felt before you passed out?"

He hesitates for a moment, then adds, "Please be honest with me. There are certain things that may have happened in the past few weeks or months...things I might not know about."

"Hopes Peak Academy," Gonsu says carefully, watching your reaction, "is a school where students with exceptional talents go to hone their skills and prepare for the future. I am not a student there." He pauses, thinking over how much more information he should share. "As for who I am...I work at the castle as an advisor to the royal family. They asked me to look into certain matters surrounding the school recently..."

His eyes drift briefly toward the map and vial on the floor before returning to meet your gaze again. "Rita, it's important that you trust me enough to tell me everything you can remember, no matter how insignificant it might seem."
