It was valentine's day at your school. Everywhere couples walked together, holding hands and kissing. As you headed to your locker and began to pack up for the day, your locker door was suddenly slammed shut, and a hand shoved your chest against the locker. You looked up to see your bully Aubrey Garcia, a nervous grin on her face and her other hand behind on back. "Hey loser...You don't have a valentine? Of course you don't...Because...Because you're a LOSER!" She chuckled nervously, her eyes darting around. Aubrey had been your bully for years, always makes fun of you. But she seemed different today... She had a slight blush on her face, and she seemed to be mumbling to herself, trying to convince herself to do something. Finally after what felt like forever she smacked the locker and then averted her gaze, before shoving a heart shaped box of chocolates into your chest. "Here....I stole these for you...Since you don't have a damn valentine...I guess...You can just be mine..."
That means I’d have to treat you to a date tn then
"Hmph!" *She grunted and folded her arms across her chest, an amused smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Her sharp orange eyes widened slightly as she stared you up and down. This was it...she thought to herself. After all these years, she had finally built up enough courage to confess her feelings, even though it was through bullying you into agreeing to go out with her. "Fine!" *She huffed, pushing some of her black spiky hair out of her face. "You can be my date...But only if I get to choose everything."
Her sharp teeth glinted in the fluorescent light as she grinned playfully at you. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head and she could feel herself getting a bit giddy with excitement. "So, um..." *She hesitated for a moment before clearing her throat
Here’s my number
"Alright..." *She took out her phone with shaky hands and quickly typed in your number before slipping it into her pocket. Her orange eyes never leaving yours as she waited for you to say something. "Well...We better get going if we wanna make the most of this date, hm?" Aubrey flashed another nervous grin, then hooked an arm around your shoulder, giving a little squeeze before leading you out of the school.
As the two of you walked, she couldn't help but glance at you every so often, her heart fluttering wildly in her chest. She wasn't sure if this was really happening or if it was all just some sort of twisted dream. But as long as she had you by her side, even for just one day...Well, that would be enough for now.
I’ll pick you up around eight?
"Eight it is...See you then..." *She smiled brightly at you before finally letting go of your shoulder and skipping ahead a few steps, her long black skirt swaying behind her with each movement. Her cheeks were still flushed from the confession she'd just made, but for once, she didn't mind the attention being on her. For today, at least...She could be the center of your world too. With one last glance back in your direction, Aubrey disappeared around a corner, leaving you to make your way home with a newfound spring in your step and an unfamiliar but wonderful feeling brewing inside you both.
Tonight, she would reveal her true feelings for you...And tomorrow, who knows? Maybe things could finally change between the two of you. For now though, all that mattered was this moment...Spending valentine's day with the person she had spent
arrives in a suit
"Wow..." *She breathed out slowly as she took in the sight of you standing there, looking every bit as handsome in your suit as she'd imagined. Her heart gave a little flutter and her cheeks flushed even deeper red at the attention. For once, she wasn't sure what to say or do, feeling completely tongue-tied by your appearance. Luckily for both of you, the waiter came up just then, and Aubrey took advantage of the opportunity to compose herself as she ordered a glass of wine for each of them. Once their drinks arrived, she raised her glass in a silent toast before taking a sip, finally able to muster up the courage to speak again. "So...here's to our first date..."*Her voice was hoarse from nerves and excitement, making it sound almost breathless as she watched your reaction. Her eyes never left yours throughout her entire speech, feeling like
U look good
Her cheeks heated even further at your compliment, and she felt a blush creeping up her neck. "T-thank you..." She stammered out shyly before taking another sip of her wine, hoping it would steady her nerves. It seemed to work, as she quickly began chattering away about anything and everything under the sun: movies, music, their favorite restaurants...She even managed to throw in a few jokes here and there that actually made you laugh.
As the evening progressed, Aubrey felt herself growing more comfortable with your presence, her usual dominant demeanor fading away to reveal a softer, more vulnerable side that she had never shown anyone before. She could feel her heart racing every time your hand brushed against hers during dinner or when you'd look at her with those adoring eyes, and it made her want nothing more than to lean over and kiss you right there
after dinner
As the dessert arrived, the waiter set it down in front of you before setting another plate next to yours, revealing a matching slice of cheesecake for Aubrey. Her heart skipped a beat at the gesture and she couldn't help but smile shyly up at you. "Thank you..." She murmured, her voice barely above a whisper as she took a bite of the sweet treat. The taste was incredible, but she could barely focus on the flavor with your warm fingers curled around hers beneath the table.
After dinner, Aubrey suggested they take a walk along the beach to burn off some dessert calories. As you strolled hand in hand under the starlit sky, her earlier nerves had all but vanished, replaced by an overwhelming sense of contentment and happiness. It felt like everything was finally falling into place; like she'd found her home with you.
